Sharon, Patrick and Linda are welcoming people and invited me to dinner before the sit began. The house is big, clean and has all the amenities you can think of and is located in a very quiet area. Bella the cat has a quirky personality. She'll come up to you and might request a bit of petting but will tire of it within seconds. It's like she doesn't want to be too close, but not too far either. That being said, she's easy to take care of and will eventually purr just for being close to you, if you can resist the urge to pet her. 😊
Barcelona with Doc and Lennon was really great. It's wonderful to watch the two of them play, even if it gets pretty wild at times. Lennon was a bit scared for the first few days and was hiding under the sofa. But with a little food, you quickly won your way into his heart. He always greeted me very warmly and hopped onto my lap as soon as I sat down. They both love to cuddle and enjoy playing together. Walking the dog is a great way to explore the area around the flat. Two of the most important Gaudi buildings in the city were also often on our tour. Doc usually reacted very calmly to other dogs, but insisted on extensive sniffing. The flat has a fantastic location with views of the Sagrada family towers. The roof terrace is wonderful, and you are above the rooftops of Barcelona. The metro station is very close, so you can quickly go to the sights or the beach. Communication with Guillermo was very good. He showed me everything in detail, and we went outside together with Doc. He also left detailed information via Excel and I felt very safe. I had a very nice and relaxing time over New Year's Eve in Barcelona and would be happy to come back in the summer.
We had a fabulous time snuggling and playing with Maggie, Marcy and Lucy in their luxuriously comfortable home. The girls are extremely well behaved and loving - we all enjoyed the softest cuddles on the sofa, and the huge bed, watching TV. They are irresistible! Regina and Ian gave us a royal welcome - they’re a beautiful couple - generous and thoughtful. Regina very kindly collected us from the airport and afterwards dropped us off downtown. She left clear and thorough written information about the dogs, house and area. We had a relaxing and fun time, and would love to return. Soon!
It was a pleasure looking after Babar for the weekend ! Kelly and Vinod are two very considerate, communicative and welcoming people. They were very thorough in explaining Babar's behavior, so I knew exactly what to expect, which was very helpful. They were also available anytime if needed. Babar was a bit anxious and barked at me at first, but he quickly began to follow me everywhere and showed me how sweet and clever he can be once he feels reassured :) The house is very comfortable and also great for remote workers. I'm grateful for the experience and would love to sit for Babar again in the future. Thank you, Kelly and Vinod, for entrusting me with the care of your sweet boy !
Katherine and Chris are such a lovely couple, they are so caring and very hospitable. Purdie and Felicity are adorable and they are very easy to look after. Their home is lovely, I enjoyed staying in the area, and it is very easy to make arrangements with Katherine and Chris. I would definitely recommend this sit to anyone that is looking for one in this area.
