We had an initial WhatsApp call with Eimear and Conor and felt at ease with them straight away. We then met two days before the sit to show them around the house and introduce the cats. Though Tabasco decided to escape into the garden…. We exchanged a couple of messages while away and were assured that everything was going ok. We returned to a very clean and tidy house and happy cats. We’d happily have Eimear and Conor come back to look after our cats. And we’d definitely recommend them to others.
Larissa and her husband Charles are the most amazing people - and housesitters. They looked after our house, garden and 2 cats while we were away for 8 days, and from the pics and videos they sent us, our furballs barely noticed our absence, they were so happy with their new 'parents'! We invited Larissa and Charles to stay a couple of days before we left to show them the ropes and get to know them, and they were wonderfully polite, easy-going and respectful guests. They were great cat-people and were very patient with our more skittish younger cat. She was all over them by the time we returned. They kept the house perfectly tidy and let us know about anything that was happening while we were away, reassuring us without disturbing our holiday. Normally the cats are a bit nervous when we return from a break (when we have catsitters popping in once or twice a day to feed them), but this time they were super chilled out. Lovely to see! Larissa and Charles were our first housesitters on TH and they've set the bar extremely high for anyone who follows!
