Christian is kind, accommodating, and communicative host. His cats Josi and Yeti are sweet, adorable, friendly, and well-behaved. Housesitting and petsittng instructions are thorough, clear, and easy to follow. I had a nice relaxing time at their clean spacious home, it was my pleasure to look after the kitties. Also off-street parking space is a big plus for the permit zone.
Thank you Eileen for allowing us to share your lovely cats and home! We had such a special time and Eileen made us feel welcome from long before we arrived. Her cats are a wonderful bunch of characters and we loved getting to know them and their very different personalities. The tiny hamlet and house are set in superb countryside. It's quiet and bucolic with amenities within easy reach. The house itself is cosy and well appointed and we instantly felt very at home. It was great to spend time with Eileen as, quite often we don't get to meet the cats owners. We had such a lot to chat about and the house is full of interesting books and dvds from Eileen's travels. The cats made us laugh a good deal and we particularly warmed to the adorable Charlie and comically, vocal, double act of Amber and Omar. They were no trouble at all to look after and it was all so relaxing it would have been nice to stay longer. We both really look forward to looking after them all again and catching up with our kind host Much Love to you all Moll and Joe x
I had a wonderful sit at Justin's modern, comfortable home in Croydon South. The area is extremely quiet and pretty. Sali is the best little companion, enjoying walks and visits to the park across the road to chase her ball. She is very well-behaved and loves cuddles. Arrow is a real chatterbox and would happily sit on my shoulder while I was in the kitchen, but also liked hanging out on her cage. Lexi the blue-tongue was hibernating, but came out when the heat pump was on. All pets were low-maintenance (or as much time as you want to give) and the home was clean, tidy and had everything I needed. A bus ran to the nearest station, 10 mins walk away for those of you with no car. Plenty of supermarkets, takeaways and cafes in the area by the station. Justin was available by message for any queries or emergencies. I had a wonderful 3 weeks!
I've just completed my 3rd "sit", feels like my 2nd home! Kitty Gambit (very low maintenance) and I are now buddies. Rachel could not be nicer. The apartment is always tidy and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is convenient with a laundromat, market, and great coffee shops in easy walking distance. Bus and subway almost at the doorstep make it easy to explore all that is great about the Big A.
What a wonderful first THS experience! Marina, Pascal, Alice and Sunny are such a kind, lovely family. The evening before their departure they welcomed us with open arms and caring gestures, making us feel immediately at ease – as well as giving us clear explanations about the house, and advice on the area. We shared some delicious wine on the terrace while the sun set over breathtaking mountain view, followed by a heartwarming homemade meal. Our conversations were a delight. Their uphill home is beautiful, spacious, perfectly equipped and clean, with cozy lights and blankets. The terrace and panoramic view made every day magic. We just could not get enough of contemplating the changing skies and mountains. Organisation and communication were a breeze through the entire sit. As for Sunny, we fell in love with his chubby face and gentle nature! He is easy to care for, curious, playful, and incredibly cute. He blissfully roams his safe outdoor perimeter, coming and going as he pleases through his catflap. He made us laugh everyday running through the stairs with a hiccup meow to ask for his morning cuddles :D All in all we had a perfect, restful workation.
