Robin did it absolutely wonderful job. Would love to have her back again.
Ori was very easy to communicate with, made the arrival and departure very easy without the need to stop by beforehand to grab the keys. Her house is a super cute vintage place very well decorated and cared for. Location is great, lots of restaurants around and plenty of street parking. Even tho it’s in a busy part of Portland, it still felt very safe. Pip is very sweet, took her a day to warm up but then she was ready for some snuggles. She was easy to care for. I recommend the sit and would love to be back in the future.
I really enjoyed my week in Chalford with Doug. His owners made me feel incredibly welcome and I was super comfortable in their quiet and relaxing home. Chalford is a pretty Cotswolds village, so picture-perfect that sometimes you feel as though you’re on a film set, and the woods nearby for walking are beautiful. Doug has the high energy you would expect of his age and breed so he needs a lot of walking but he has a great personality and can also be very sweet; watching TV with him on my lap was a particular highlight. Jeeves the cat who lives a separate life upstairs was no trouble at all and very friendly—especially when he wanted food!
Karin & Giles are incredible hosts! Extremely communicative and have all their pets on a great routine. Phoebe & Toby (cats) are a little timid at first, but as soon as they warm up, they melt into purr machines & cuddle bugs. Lily (senior dog) is super friendly & sweet from the start! She loves just hanging out wherever we are and taking short walks around with the block with naps in the grass at the park. Their home is spacious and the neighborhood is beautiful & safe. Amazing sit - our family would definitely come back!!
Buttons is a lovely friendy dog who loved to snuggle up with us on the sofa. A perfect passenger in the car more than happy to snooze in her travel bed on the back seat. Set in the countryside this beautiful comfortable house is surrounded by narrow lanes and bridal paths, perfect for taking Buttons on walks. Alice left clear instructions which were very hepful. Super sit. Julian and Jo.
Stephen's well appointed cabin is bright and cozy. and Francois is great company. He followed me around most of the time, sometimes wanting interaction and sometimes just my lap :) Unlike many cats, he seems to love belly rubs in the evening especially. It was a pleasure to care for him! The home is close to the Fitch trail (closed while I was there) and just a few minutes from the plaza. Communication with Stephen was easy and prompt. I would enjoy visiting again and highly recommend this sit! Thank you Stephen.
