I really enjoyed my 5 days in the cotswolds just outside the beautiful village of Broadway. The list of walks, cycle routes and scenic drives is endless in such a beautiful part of the country. The cotswold region is truly a special place. Julia and her husband live in a beautiful home on a working arable farm. It is a very interesting place and the walks across many fields and small woods just outside the house are wonderful. The house is very comfortable and has all mod cons, I enjoyed my stay there. The dogs, Melba and Mij (and Nala during my stay :) ) are great company and very loving. They are also very disciplined and thoroughly enjoy their off lead walks across the farm fields. I can highly recommend this house sit, with lovely hosts in the heart of the cotswolds and very loving dogs :) John
Wendy and French were welcoming - great hosts - and the house is lovely - what a view! The dogs are great companions and easy to care for. It was blustery and raining while I was there and I was happy to stay in and write, dreaming and watching the storm out the many windows. The communication was terrific. The neighborhood is quiet.
Petsitting for Claire and Mary was a wonderful experience. They were so kind and welcoming and had everything set up to help me settle in and feel comfortable. They gave me very clear instructions and were always quick to reply to any questions. I loved the pets and getting to know their personalities so much. Misch and Caddy are generally pretty chill - they love to hang out with you and Caddy loves to play with his toys, but they also like their long naps! Misch takes a little convincing to go for a walk but enjoys it once he gets going. I had to give them eye drops and clean Misch’s ears, which Claire showed me how to do when I arrived. Amande the lovely cat is also great company and loves attention. I miss them all!! The neighbourhood is super nice and well connected and I had great time exploring Brussels during my stay too. 100% recommend :)
Thank you Garazi for allowing me to take care of Luigi! I now know what it’s like to be famous in Berlin because I have walked around with a Darkel (everyone’s favorite dog)! Luigi is the most fun dog! Garazi even took the time to go into detail of Luigi’s favorite spots in the neighborhood with me which made the sit a breeze!
Short but Sweet. Had a lovely time looking after sweet Tink. She is a very sweet dog and brilliant to walk as her recall is brilliant. Lovely cottage and close to amenities. Walks on the doorstep. Jonathan was a great host and I would recommend this sit. Hopefully I will get invited back.
Keara and Tyson’s home is a perfect little oasis in Oceanside! I appreciated their organization and communication, and they made me feel welcome when I arrived! I didn’t have a vehicle and Tyson even picked me up from the train station (big thanks for that). Their house is only a quick 20 minute walk to the beach and everything you might need while house sitting so it was perfect for me as someone who likes to adventure. Mahina was such a pleasure to watch and we formed a bond very quickly! She is easy going, goofy, and loved going on daily walks to the beach with me. As big as she is, she is surprisingly easy on the leash. Jupiter was low maintenance simply wanted to be fed and let outside during the day. Keara and Tyson, thank you for being such good spirited people! I would gladly house sit again for y’all anytime (:
