PERFECTION! TOTAL PERFECTION! That is how we would describe our very first housesit....perfect! We had a wonderful experience. Di, Karl and Roxy cordially welcomed us to their gorgeous home late afternoon of the day before they left. Within the first 15 minutes we felt like they were our friends. They prepared a delicious dinner for us after showing us all around their home and property. The basket of delicious goodies left for us lasted all week. They were clear about everything and left good notes. Roxy was delightful to care for, well behaved and full of fun, bonding with us immediately. It was a hot week so we mostly sat out by the pool watching Roxy run all over the large back yard for a while, then coming back to sit with us. We enjoyed the view down to Goose Creek and the hill of trees beyond, not a house in sight. Jumping into the pool every once in a while kept us cool! Good restaurants were within a couple of miles. We liked taking boat rides on the river too. A very comfortable bed and shower in our ‘suite with a view’ was as good as home. On top of all this, we got to gather and eat fresh eggs every morning! Honestly, this could not have been a better stay and was a very relaxing, fun week for us. Thank you kindly, Di & Karl!
I thoroughly enjoyed sitting for Mike. He's a great communicator both before and during the sit. Pan is a very sweet dog-so personable and loving! He watched me carefully and followed my basic hand signals that Mike taught me to use with Pan since he is deaf. Pan and I enjoyed going on some nice walks in the neighborhood. Tea and Coffee, the guinea pigs, are adorable and fun to take care of. I would highly recommend this sit.
Hola! :) Wow, what a fantastic house sit we had here in Granada. Paul & Niki were extremely welcoming, kind, and easy to communicate with. They made sure that we had everything we needed for a very successful sit, such as detailed written instructions, a thorough guide with local tips, were very easy to get in touch with when we had questions, and of course gave us a great introduction to their adorables dogs and cat! What a great family of pets with each their distinct personality! It was always a joy to have them greeting us in excitement every morning and snuggling with us in the evening. Dexter is an active, loving and cuddly dalmatian full of energy and curiosity. Rio is a goofy, affectionate and super happy dog absolutely looooves to go on a little walk. Bella is very intelligent, calm and very good listener who likes as well. Ruby is such a cute, gentle, sweet little dog. Everything she does melts your heart instantly! Bob the cat is such a cool guy: he is smooth, laid back and liked to chat with us between cuddles. The house is peaceful, comfortable, and has fantastic views. We felt very spoiled the entirety of our stay. We were fortunate enough to share a meal with Paul & Niki before they left and a had a nice chat after they returned. We will definitely want to say hi to Dexter, Rio, Bella, Ruby and Bob anytime we're in the area! I had a wonderful few days housesitting for Harriet, & Will, looking after their one year old beautiful Marine Coon Cat “ Roger “ who was a joy to look after, with no problems and kept me amused with some of his playful antics. Harriet & Will, made me feel very welcome and I found them to be a lovely couple and a pleasure to know. Their home is very nice, and very comfortable and a short walk from local shops, the Railway Station, and the main shopping area of Letchworth, which is a beautiful town to explore, with many historical villages nearby. What a sweet & short home and pet sit for the adorable Wally. Our sweetest, smallest & easiest pooch to date! Sebastian is an excellent communicator, their home is very comfortable and well located and the three of us had a fab 24 hours hanging out together in Basel! Wally wants to be with you all the time and is lovely company. See you again guys
We loved looking after Casper and Amber in Jo and Alan's amazing home. It was our first time looking after Burmese cats and it was wonderful to rub their tummies and playing fetch with them. Casper and Amber are affectionate, gorgeous cats and we were sad to say goodbye to them at the end of our sit. Jo and Alan are awesome, generous hosts. They kindly made us dinner when we arrived and gave us thorough information for how to look after the cats and the house. Communication with them was easy throughout and they were always available for any questions. We highly recommend this sit! Thanks so much for having us!
