We met Katie and her husband on the phone. A very pleasant conversation set the tone for this house sit. We met Luna...one of the most beautiful cats we've ever seen. Luna was unusual in the cat world as she warmed up to us very quickly. This cat loves snuggles and also enjoys belly rubs, scratches on her face and ears. She is really pure joy to be with. She comes into the bedroom and socializes with us very well. The house is lovely and the beds are comfortable. Their kitchen is well stocked and they made sure to leave toilet paper (we've come to learn from experience that this is not the case from other sits) and paper towels. We also enjoyed the area with good restaurants and interesting museums. Huntsville is an up and coming city and it was fun to explore. Luna is the highlight of this sit. She has a sweet personality and my wife wanted to bring her home with us! We enjoyed the house and the kitty and would welcome the opportunity to return. Thank you for choosing us to do this very nice sit!
Janet & Paul home is very well position just few minutes to budda castle! Loki is a funny and sweet boy, we bring him with us always.... also on metro and train and he's just intersting on what happen aroud him and never create a problem! Absolutely reccomended.
We loved staying at Elizabeth and Ed’s home with their sweet 12 year old pup Romeo. They were incredibly kind, welcoming and easy to communicate with. We quickly bonded with Romeo, and enjoying getting into his various routines. I loved spending the mornings sitting next to him in front of the fire just as we were waking up, then going on a walk to explore their neighborhood and surrounding trails. I would stay and watch Romeo again anytime. Elizabeth and Ed’s home is wonderful— so comfortable, and in a great location as well. You’re just minutes from downtown, Galbraith mountain, grocery, you name it. We loved our time there and were charmed by the whole experience.
This was a great sit from the moment we arrived to a home cooked meal and home baked bread till the moment we left. Mark & Linda were super hospitable and made us feel right at home, and their two cats were easy to care for and very friendly. Tommy is such a sweet cat, happy to be brushed and sit beside us on the couch. Mittens was more shy, mostly sleeping, but she was super good for her insulin shots. Mark & Linda’s house is very comfortable, and they have a very well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The property sits on a fabulous corner plot with great outdoor seating areas and great views across the golf course and two lakes where there were all sorts of birds to see. We also had use of their golf cart and electric bikes to explore The Villages many cart only trails. We would be delighted to come back again if our dates matched and thoroughly recommend this sit.
Such a wonderful home and property. Peaceful and relaxing, with adorable pups, kittens and horses. All really wonderful!
Sue and Georges are so incredibly kind and hospitable! They even made us dinner so we could all get to know each other better. They are very easy going and great with communication. Whenever we had any questions, I could always text them and get a quick reply. Gypsy and Cy couldn’t have more different personalities, but they were such a joy to take care of! Gypsy is shy but does slowly warm up, although her favourite spot is nestled on top of her king size bed in the spare room where she’s happy to spend quality alone time waiting for food haha. Cy was shy at first, but has since really come out of her shell and now loves to keep us company while we are cooking or just watching tv. She’ll sit on our laps while we work, or just curl up and nap with us on the couch while we watch a movie. They have been super fun to take care of and such great companions!
