Suzanne and John’s was absolutely wonderful! They are both so lovely, and Gracie was fun to watch. She’s very independent, but super playful once she warms up after a day or so. We had great conversations, as she loves to talk! Would absolutely recommend this stay right in Durango, even just to meet Suzanne and John if you ever have the chance.
Everything about this sit is great! Beary and Harvey are super sweet and easy to care for. George and Martha are very hospitable and welcoming. All instructions are clear and simple. The house and neighborhood are very nice, and it is easy to get to beaches, state parks and much more. I’m glad to be going back!
We had the pleasure of hanging out with little Annabelle over Christmas this year. She's a sweet young beagle with so much love to give. She loves playing with her toys, heading out for hikes, and she goes crazy for her liver treats. When you're out walking with Annabelle, she will lead the way with her powerful nose. She absolutely loves the nearby dog park, which is HUGE, fully fenced in, and very well maintained. Annabelle is a rescue and unfortunately had a rough start in life, but Karen and John are the most thoughtful parents and she is so incredibly lucky to live the life she now has. We can't thank them enough for welcoming us into their home and trusting us with little Annabelle. Getting to know her and all of her cute little quirks was truly a special experience, we loved every moment of it. Karen and John are very organized, they left detailed instructions, showed us around, and even took us for our first walk with Annabelle. Their home is also stunning — it is super clean, modern, and beautifully designed. The views of the lake and the mountains are unbeatable. There are endless hiking trails right in the neighbourhood that Annabelle knows and loves. There are also grocery stores, cafes and lots of little shops to check out in nearby Duncan. All in all, this has got to be one of our most memorable housesits and we would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Karen, John & Annabelle for having us :) With love, Goga & Wilson
I loved staying at Megan’s place. She was super welcoming and had written down everything I needed to know and do. Her dogs and cat were lovely and easy to take care of. The beach is just across the street and make it even nicer to go for a walk with the Bea Bea and Ava. Her home was comfy and super clean. Communication before and during the sit was excellent. Would definitely recommend taken care of her pets and choosing her as a Petsitting host. You can’t go wrong with her. Thank you, Megan.
This was such a wonderful house sit — I’m not sure where to start heaping on the praises! Well, let’s start with the star of the show, the adorable cat Cinder, who is very low maintenance and full of affection. We enjoyed a lot of lap time together. I loved how she would come over to me and gently meow, which I quickly learned meant “lap time please!” Then we have Kurt and PL’s lovely waterfront home looking across Puget Sound to downtown Seattle. The views from the wall of windows or the large deck (with hot tub!) are impressive no matter the weather. And the accommodations for the sitter are perfect — a guestroom with a very comfortable bed, nearby guest bathroom, and available storage space for belongings. The home is walking distance to a small commercial area with a coffee shop and small food store. Grocery stores and other businesses are a short drive away. I can’t thank Kurt and PL enough for choosing me to care for their home and Cinder. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
It was a joy to spend time with Romeo for a few days. We became fast friends. He loves playing tug-a-war, playing fetch outside, and lots of cuddles and belly rubs! Margot provided great hospitality and was very easy to communicate with and was readily available whenever I needed her. I would highly recommend this sit and hope to be back again!
