Looking after Treacle at Matt and Ness’ beautiful home was an absolute pleasure. Treacle is quite a character, she took a few days to warm up where she kept to herself a lot but was happy to play and accept a couple of pats towards the end of our sit. Treacle was very low maintenance and easy to care for. Matt and Ness’ home is very well located and feels very homely, I would happily do this sit again in a heartbeat.
Looking after Rosie was a delight. She is such a beautiful natured dog, has a great personality, loves her pats and scratches, and happy to be around you. Deborah left very clear instructions regarding Rosie's care, which we were grateful for. Deborah's home is inviting, clean and comfortable, with clear instructions on using the utilities. We thoroughly enjoyed being there and being with Rosie and thank Deborah for the opportunity.
We had a lovely time housesitting for Dick and Alyce. They have a beautiful house with stunning mountain and city views, a short drive from everything you might need in Tucson. The house is also very close to Silverbell Lake, a real oasis and very pleasant to sit beside. Their neighbours were extremely welcoming, and Dick and Alyce were very warm and friendly. They also gave us detailed notes on the house. We would be very happy to come back again if they needed another housesit.
Great place to stay, close to all you need - new cinema - shops etc - the dogs are no trouble they love a walk and human company. Great info pack with all you need to know. No need for a car. Happy to come back again if we can.
I had a brilliant time Walking Smudge in the area . Because he is deaf he cannot be left of the lead as no recall. Victoria is a fantastic host and has lovely neighbors. You should try the local Fish and Chips there excellent. I can recommend sitting here and hope to return one day.
This was a wonderful sit despite the inclement weather. Natalie and Robert made me feel at home immediately. We enjoyed hot meals together both before they left and on their return, accompanied by lively, stimulating conversation. The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable. As an added bonus it is situated next to the coast with fantastic views of the beach. Terry (Poodle) and Timmy (Shih Tzu) were great company and we got on famously from the start. I'm missing them both already! We enjoyed many walks during my stay and even ventured further afield in the Jeep that Natalie and Robert generously provided for my use. On the odd days when the sun shone I was struck by how beautiful the island was. I have made two new friends and would certainly recommend this sit without any reservations. Hopefully, I'll get the opportunity to see them all again in the not too distant future.
