It was such a pleasure to host Jun Yi & Mohammad - they were super communicative leading up to and during the sit (even as we navigated some travel delays) and we felt our dogs were in such great hands while we were gone. They took the dogs on hikes and walks in the parks and sent us plenty of pictures that made it clear they were having a great time. They did really well with our shier dog and it was clear they were both expert ‘dog people’. The house was super clean when we got back and the dogs were super relaxed and happy. Would 100% recommend for your next sit!

Joann and Brian were the best petsitters and housesitters we ever have had. They are mature, calm, well-traveled, neat, smart, retired professionals with whom you can trust your pets, your house, your belongings, and your plants, among other things. We would love to have them take care of our pets and home ANYTIME in the future. We have an almost 20-year-old cat, a 14-year-old dog, and a dog with a serious medical condition requiring his food to be treated. Our dogs and cat thrived under Joann and Brian's care. We returned to rested, happy pets who showed none of the usual stress we see in them after we travel. We will offer Joann and Brian the opportunity to stay here in our home in Santa Fe, NM, before we post any future requests for sitters. They cared for the house like it was their own. We came home to a spotless house and fresh linens in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Every day we were away, they sent us detailed notes on the pets, including photos. We relaxed while we were traveling because we had such exceptional, wonderful, careful, kind people taking care of our dogs, our cat, our house, and lots and lots of plants, indoors and out. Joann and Brian are wonderful pet and housesitters. I recommend them with great enthusiasm.

Dennis was highly communicative and thoughtful. He was detail oriented, and thoroughly reviewed the welcome guide, and promptly asked for clarification when he noticed there were a few contradictions between the WG and what I had told via message. Would definitely recommend Dennis!

Alyssa

Alyssa is a gem of a person, house sitter, and a dog caregiver. She stayed in our house for a little over two weeks keeping our guy Gaven company while she worked from our home, taking him on at least one hour walk a day in addition to his regular schedule. She is warm, bright, very organized, neat, and responsible. We enjoyed her company so much when she can to be introduced to the house and to Gaven that we invited her to stay for dinner. Gaven loved Alyssa — which we know because for a few days after she left he hung out in the room she slept in. She loved him — when we returned she regaled us with stories about his cute behaviors and interactions with different dogs on the street. She was excited that he came up with a special signal to let her know he needed/wanted a walk, which is not a behavior he does with us. Gaven can occasionally be reactive to large male dogs. Alyssa was able to manage him beautifully, primarily by being attentive and moving away or across the street. Alyssa and we agreed that the next time we plan to take a vacation we will try to coordinate the dates with having her come back and stay.

Jill and Wally were the best! Sammy was SO happy with them. They were amazing communicators, sending us text and photo updates throughout their stay. They also kept our house in pristine condition, cleaning up after themselves and fully washing all the sheets and towels. They even remade our bed for us so we didn't have to do that when we returned home later at night. They are also so sweet and great to talk to - we would have them back to stay with Sammy anytime!

Cathy was very attentive to Bailey. From the pictures, Bailey enjoyed her walks and time on the couch with Cathy. Cathy left my house super clean and tidy.

Kevin and Jennifer really went above and beyond to make us feel at home and comfortable for our stay. Their hospitality is not comparible and really outstanding to me on this website!
Their pets are really easy to care for, as a Housesitters you have a lot of free time and their home is in the middle of nature but still nearby big cities like Charlottesville, Richmond or Washington DC. Benny really loves to get pets and Bert loves playing a lot - you won't get bored. Rosita and Abby are also the sweetest and are so happy when you are outside with them and give them attention! All in all I really cannot express enough how greatful me and my fiance are for all Kevin's and Jennifer's support and to anyone who considers to sit for them, you would be more than lucky to do it at their house.

My husband and I enjoyed caring for Jessica's sweet kitties and bunny. From the short time we spent with Jessica we could really tell how much she loves her fur babies! She described each of them perfectly. Gizmo is a handsome boy and really enjoys "talking" to you. He is always ready for meal time and very friendly. Umi was such a cutie, I really got a kick out of seeing him eat his salads every day. Jessica walked us through how to prepare his food which was really helpful. We brought our kitty along with us on this sit and Umi was so sweet with him. Bodhi loves to relax and was less interested in us. She is a calming presence to the house. I loved seeing all the pets cuddling together, they are so cute! Thank you Jessica for hosting us and introducing us to your sweet furry friends.

Those were the best of dogs, always happy and smiley (as French Bulldogs are). They are really people dogs and love to be around us all the time. The hosts were wonderful and would definitely love to sit with them again.

Their house has everything needed to enjoy your stay and is located near to shops and pubs, with supermarkets being a 10 minute drive away.

Fred and Suki are loving dogs and there's great open fields behind their place so there are some great walks, allowing them to be off-lead.

Bristol, Portishead and Clevedon are on the doorstep and Bath and Glastonbury aren't far away.

Highly recommend this sit.

It’s a lovely apartment and the cats are super friendly. I’m glad I requested to have the air tags connected to my iPhone. This way I could see where the cats were. We walked to eat (Los Andes and Lu’s) or cooked and ate in. Otherwise we used ride-share apps to get around.
