Mark and Teresa are lovely, friendly, fun people who have an amazing home and a wonderful menagerie, both of which were a joy to take care of. We were made to feel instantly welcome in their immaculate home and were given clear instructions on how to take care of their pets, so we felt really comfortable and confident from day one. They even cooked us an amazing meal on our first night (Teresa and Mark are real foodies, so it was such a treat) and left great recommendations for walks and places to eat. We adore Cornwall (in all weather) so it was an absolute delight to take care of their homestead and enjoy the quiet, peaceful surroundings. We highly recommend this sit would sit for them again in a heartbeat. We hope to be back down that end of England again at some point this year, even if it's just to have a gin with them and chat about travel.
Sitting for Taz was a unique experience! Communication with Patt was easy at all times. Upon arrival, Pat and Mike were very nice and made us feel very welcome in their home. Their instructions were very clear and they printed out maps for us with recommendations for Taz's walks, all very close to their home. Their home is beautiful! Very luminous, with lots of windows overlooking trees and a pond. If you sit on the deck for a while you can have all kinds of birds very close to you. It is a place of absolute peace. Very clean and tidy. And about Taz... What can we say? She is sweet, gentle and capable of expressing everything she wants with her eyes and her body language. She behaves too well! She likes to be in the same place as you and keeps you company at all times. She can be very quiet, until you take her for a walk and there you will discover a young happy dog, enjoying every walk with enthusiasm and energy.
This sit was so hard to leave! Ozzy is such a lover, and so much fun! I love the trails around Durango, and Ozzy is a champ off-leash. He never let me leave his site, and came straight to me when I would call. Also, as a woman traveling alone, having a snuggle buddy that sleeps in the bed every night filled my heart to the brim! Danielle's home is absolutely beautiful. It was immaculate when I arrived, and everything about it was more than comfortable. I don't think I've ever slept so well at a sit. The neighborhood is perfectly located a few blocks from town, and a short drive to the foot of the Colorado trail. To top it all off, Danielle and her family are warm, kind, inviting, and incredibly communicative and responsive from start to finish. I would gladly sit for them again, and cannot recommend this site highly enough.
I loved my stay with Rocky and my time in Garmisch-Partenkirchen! Jessica was so kind, laid back, accommodating, and communicative. Rocky is such a funny and cuddly little guy who kept me laughing the whole time. He's very easy to care for... as long as you can persuade him down the stairs to go outside! The place was clean, comfortable, and well equipped in a great location. The town and surrounding areas are GORGEOUS with lots to do in close proximity, and I loved the hiking, skiing, bike riding, and wandering the charming villages on both sides. Jessica was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at the train station (it's very close but I had a suitcase) and the entire sit was easy and fun. I would be happy to come back again any time!
This was an awesome pet sit. Yemaya is a sweet affectionate cat that is very low maintenance and well behaved. Lara and Viktor are two very sweet hosts who I got to meet in person. They explained to me everything in detail and were always easy to reach. They live in a nicely decorated apartment that had everything I needed and on top of that was right next door to the subway station. Hope to meet again!
Cody and Briana were excellent hosts and had clear instructions with everything set up for me. More importantly, their dogs Daisy and Maui were a breeze to take care of and an absolute pleasure to walk. Excellent location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommend for anyone looking to check out Denver!
