Les was absolutely amazing, she communicated with regular updates about her arrival. While away we were sent photos of our very happy doggie Ivy. We know that Ivy was incredibly loved and even spoilt while we were away for 3 weeks. We are so grateful and can not recommend Les highly enough. She clearly takes dog sitting very seriously and if we were lucky enough to have her back we, and Ivy would be delighted.
We had a really great time sitting for Sam’s dogs in Moraga. The dogs are adorable and very sweet. Beyoncé appears intimidating and has a mighty bark but is actually a love bug. I felt very safe with her in the home and while walking on the trails. Queenie is affectionate, opinionated, and has a very cute array of sounds she makes when she feels like talking. Both the dogs are great with kids. Sam’s house is beautiful and comfortable with lots of cool and quirky art pieces. There is an extensive trail system within walking distance to her house and it’s a lovely part of California. We saw lots of wildlife and birds walking the trails there. She went out of her way to make it an easy experience for us and is a great communicator. This was a wonderful sit and I’d encourage anyone to apply.
I had such an amazing time at Sally and Giles’s lovely home looking after Chase (Buttons!). They are such a generous, warm and friendly couple and I felt immediately welcomed and at home. We had a lovely dinner the night before they left which was a great chance to get to know each other. Chase is incredibly well behaved, within one walk together he was following my calls and very easy to look after. We had some beautiful country walks around the surrounding villages and then time in the house was just a dream. Lots of books to read, a big kitchen for cooking and the comfiest of beds! The house really is lovely. I would come back anytime and only have positive things to say. :)
Juliet's place was very comfortable and Mishka was so gorgeous with his purring and wanting to be near you. He loved having the company with him during the day and was so good when he had to stay in at night, he would just take himself off to his mum's room and sleep. We had lots of chats and lots of cuddles too. It was great to be in the centre of Winchester with so many things going on and so many places to go and eat. Lovely river walks and so easy to get to the shops. So a delightful stay thank you Juliet.
Looking after Winston & Baxter was awesome, they are super cuddly/friendly dogs and loved going on walks. Most nights they tried to sleep on the bed so they definitely got their fair share of cuddles. Alana's place is super tidy and her neighbour was lovely too. I never met Alana but could sense she was cool with all the travel and musical stuff hanging in the house!
If you get the pleasure to sit for Kari and Colin, you will not regret it at all. Max is a true angel and when it came to leaving him, it broke our hearts as we’d grown to love him so much (there may have been tears on my part)💔 He loves to show you his toys and will get each and every one out to show off and loves to play. He loves his food and we did take treats out on walks to easily get his attention back on us. He is so so easy to walk, doesn’t pull on the lead at all and loves the dog park where he can get his energy out, he loves a good pupcup from Starbucks round the corner and starts to drool when he knows where he’s going 😂 his fave pass time is people watching outside his window so don’t be concerned if he sticks his head out. He is a great cuddle monster and is so soft and well groomed that you just want to cuddle all day. He even smells great! 😅 Kari and Colin made the sit so simple, stayed in contact the whole time and their apartment is beautiful! If you get chosen to sit for them, give Max a kiss and cuddle for us as we miss him so much ❤️
What a lovely sit! Bella and Lexi are so well trained and have such a lovely set up. They know every step of their routine to a tee and won't let you forget any of those steps! Emer was so welcoming and generous and also had all details of the house and dogs perfectly organised and laid out. Plus, the house is in a great location with easy access to Cork city centre both by car and train. A lovely sit, I would recommend to any sitter.
