This family is one of the best I've cared for and become a part of. Emmy Lu and Dexter are playful characters and Mona and Paul are inviting and accommodating. The home is cozy and the location is within walking distance of tons of food, drinks, and anything else you might need. Getting downtown by bus was about a 30 min process between walk and ride. Emmy Lu and Dexter are easy to care for, will snuggle with you after 1 day, and are easy to please... well, that is until Dexter wants back outside when it's dark.
We had the best house sitting experience at Charlotte and Marty’s place and absolutely loved looking after Opal and Fletcher! Charlotte and Marty provided such a detailed overview of the responsibilities which made looking after Opal and Fletcher a breeze! Opal and Fletcher are very well behaved and we had fun going on adventures with them every day. There’s lots of walks, parks and creeks nearby you can take the dogs to explore. They are also so friendly and cuddly so be ready for their affection! The property is perfect for the dogs to run around and explore and is such a nice and relaxing place to stay. We would love to go back and we miss the pups already
We had a wonderful time taking care of Zach and staying in Renee's peaceful home. It was so dreamy- I didn't even feel the need to go out exploring anywhere (and in fact we only left to get groceries because we just loved the view so much). We were there in the spring and it's a place I would love to see in all its seasons. We loved the view from the common living areas, and the bedroom was so inviting for a peaceful slumber! Absolutely cozy, clean and just meant to restore. Zach is absolutely gorgeous and majestic. I had fun taking pictures of him and watching him. He loves to be outside and spends most of his time in his special spots, but is so easy to call in when it starts getting dark (he loves his treats!). Zach is not a cuddly lap kitty by any means, but he did allow some pets (especially during meal times). He does like to walk around your legs to show affection and gratitude! Its adorable. His basic care is so beyond easy. Even though we left our bedroom door open for him, he never woke us up and stays all night in his mama's room. He is a very independent kitty and entertains himself (and the humans). Renee was easy to talk to and get ahold of with any questions. I love that she responded to my updates of Zach. We definitely recommend this experience! A beautiful home, a gorgeous cat and a kind and communicative cat mama!
Solomon and Ashley were very welcoming and accomodating. It was an absolute pleasure to care for their home and pet babies, Waldo and Snickers. Their home is in a lovely, walkable neighborhood with nearby parks and stores. Neighbors were also welcoming and looked out for me. Let's start with playful Snickers. She enjoys playing with her toys and chasing leaves and catching bugs outside. Solomon and Ashley have wonderful gadgets to keep Snickers occupied as well. She likes to snuggle when she wants and will let you know when she wants you to pet her. Waldo is super chill and absolutely loves his walks. We often went to the park and played and ran around. He started sleeping with me on the second night which was great because it started to get cold. He also barked less at night while sleeping in the bed with me. I'm happy to sit again should the occassion arise. Thank you!
House sitting for Kate and Trent was a real pleasure. Leeloo and Hughie are affectionate and well tempered dogs and we thoroughly enjoyed spending a week with them. We got to walk Leeloo and Hughie a few times prior to the Housesit which helped familiarise themselves with us. This was a real winner as they were great to walk and explore the streets of Amsterdam. We would definitely look after the doggos again! Kate and Trent were friendly and communicative and we enjoyed getting to know them too ☺️ Until next time!
We had a lovely sit looking after Asa in Cambridge. Nick sent all of the info in advance including a walk-through video so we knew exactly where everything was in the house. Asa is so gentle and sweet and just LOVES to be around people. She can be a little nervous around other dogs. We had some great local walks with her in the local common. Overall a lovely sit !
