We had a very enjoyable stay at Teresa's & Jeremy's home. They made us very welcome and organised a very nice barbecue dinner the evening we arrived. Gabby and Fuji were very easy cats to look after and are very independent with very different personalities. Their very charming and comfortable home is in the countryside with spectacular views of the Alps. There are very nice walks in a nearby forest. A very nice place for a quiet and relaxing time. Emily and her family welcomed us wholeheartedly in their beautiful home. Rocket is a very friendly and affectionate dog. We had absolutely no problems with him during our stay. The area they live in is perfect for taking the dog out for nice walks. Emily responded quickly to any questions we had. The house was clean and we immediately felt like home. We would definitely come back if we ever wanted to stay in that area again!
We had a lovely stay with Papi, he’s a loveable, friendly, well trained ‘proper’ dog! We only stayed a few nights at Liane and Martins big Bath house but enjoyed every minute, super clean, super comfy, it was like staying in a hotel. Thanks so much for having us xx
Terri was an absolutely perfect host and Idaho was so fun to hang out with. I would happily take care of Idaho again and would recommend anyone who likes Salt Lake City and the outdoors to do the same. Idaho is very smart and well behaved. She loves going for walks, playing with her toys, and she’s great at letting you know when she’s ready to play/walk/eat. Outside of those times, she generally just likes to hang out around wherever you are and enjoys the occasional petting/belly scratching. Terri’s house is in a great neighborhood. Walking distance to several parks, shops, and restaurants, and a short drive (5-10 minutes) to downtown. The house has everything you could need, and Terri provides a clean, furnished guest room and a bathroom. Terri was great at communicating before, during, and after the sit. She has very thorough information for care for Idaho, places to go, and things to do nearby. She also has several emergency contacts available nearby. All in all, I can’t say enough good things about Terri and Idaho. Both of them were great hosts in all aspects.
Cassy and Jack were the perfect hosts and are just genuinely such nice and kind people:) They invited me to stay with them the evening before they had to leave, which gave them lots of time to show me everything I needed to know regarding their apartment and most importantly Soap and Choppy's routine. It also made the transition much easier for the doggies, since they are quite attached to Cassy and Jack and will be sad in the beginning when they leave. I absolutely love Shelties and Soap and Choppy are truly special ones. They are very sweet natured and adapt quite a bit to your energy. They are very easy to walk and can even be let off lead in certain areas and parks. Soap might bark at the occasional scooter and skateboard and they love chasing pigeons but they have great recall and will never stray far from you since herding is in their nature:) They love long walks and hikes and the Grenoble area is great for that! The city really surprised me in a good way and the beautiful apartment is located very centrally, making it easy to reach everything on foot. Regarding Chopper's eye medication, he is such a sweet dog that he will even come to you when he sees his medication. He will probably squint but it was really no problem keeping on top of his eye routine. Cassy and Jack were great at showing me the best way to go about it and at explaining everything in detail. Another thing to keep in mind is that Chopper can only have his special food, so just make sure not to leave any food around the apartment (they don't go into the kitchen☺️) and that he doesn't eat anything off the ground outside and he'll be a super healthy and happy dog. Overall, I cannot recommend this sit highly enough! Soap and Choppy are the absolute sweetest, from morning kisses to cuddles on the sofa and zoomies in the park. Grenoble has now been added to one of my favorite cities in France, and Cassy and Jack really are the perfect hosts and just great people:) Thank you for everything!
We are so happy to always have such a luck with our house sits! Our stay at Courtney and Preston’s was wonderful. They were so welcoming and it was easy to organize everything with them. We met Preston and the pack two days before our stay so the two furry boys had a chance to meet us upfront which was great and made the handover super easy. Ty and Whiskey are the cutest! Little Whiskey got a bit sick the day before we arrived but thanks to a close communication and a great vet, we had him back on track in no time! Ty is as mellow as it can get and we had wonderful cuddle sessions on the couch. Both of them behave very well on and off leash, they are energetic and excited to go out for walks which we love and we spend lots of time in nearby parks. Courtney and Preston’s flat is beautiful and fully equipped and has a nice garden for these sunny days. Great location, great walking areas nearby, great public transport connection … What else could one ask for? Courtney, Preston, thank you sooo much for having us! We are already looking forward to come back to the pack soon!
