Cat Sitters in Hudson Bend, TX

This was the second time we had Helen sit and she was great. She was a good communicator ahead of time and while we were away. She took good care of our cat and our house. She’s very reliable and trustworthy, would recommend!

While we were on a holiday trip to Mexico City, Anne and Jessica and family stayed at our home in Austin. They were consummate caretakers of our home and our pets, especially stepping up to look after our Golden Retriever when he was not feeling well with digestive issues. They kept us informed of how things were going with pictures and texts throughout our absence which was much appreciated. Despite the challenge of keeping the house clean and in order thanks to the dog’s illness, they left the house in excellent shape. We would highly recommend this family for any future needs. 5 STARS.

Brandi, Scott and Branson were a great family to share our home with, and to take care of the pets. They were very communicative and sent lots of pictures of the pup while we were traveling. When house issues came up, they were prompt to let us know, help troubleshoot, and able to deal with on their own. I can highly recommend them for a house/pet sit any time.

Aurora and Isaac were great pet sitters over Christmas break. They are great pet sitters because they are also hosts as well so understand the magic of the platform. They were very sweet to our cat Peppercorn, provided updates and pictures and even kept us up to date with some stress-related incidents with our cat! The house was very clean as well which is always a nice bonus to come home to :)

Rachel and Steven were great guests. They were easy to communicate with in planning their stay. Once they arrived they provided great updates on the cats and house needs. They showed lovely care and bonding with our fur babies with fun pictures, videos, and descriptions of their antics. When we returned, the house was spotless, the cats were happy, and everything was just so. We'd happily have them again!

Laura was the best experience I have had so far with zeewoi. Because she lives in my city, she was able to meet with us a couple of times before we left, which, although not strictly necessary, was really nice and I was grateful to be able to show her my routine. But mostly, I was grateful for her flexibility, as our travel plans involved us leaving for a month, returning home for a couple of days, and then leaving again for another couple of weeks. I’m sure that this could not have been super convenient for her, but she never complained and cheerfully returned. Most importantly, she did not seem to mind that my teenage son, who I could never have trusted with this much responsibility, was in and out of the house while she stayed there. Probably this was in violation of some TH policy, but Laura was totally cool about it. While we were gone, she stayed in touch with us and regularly sent me pictures of my cats sitting in her lap, getting their little heads scratched, just as if I were there myself. This is important when you’re away for as long as we were, and it was very comforting to see them getting loved on. But the most amazing thing, which I did not totally expect, was that the two feral cats that I feed were waiting for me in the garage upon my return, right where I’d left them. That they had not gone in search of a new home let me know for sure that Laura had cared for them as well, despite the fact that there’s not much emotional reward in feeding feral cats. When we returned from our travels, the house was tidy, things were mostly in place, nothing was broken, and there were clean sheets on the bed. There was even a cooked chicken and an entire jar of homemade stock in the fridge!! Who does that?? Laura!!! I very much hope to be able to engage Laura again next summer, but I suspect that by then she will be highly in demand in locales far more exotic than Austin, Texas. Get her while you can; this one’s a keeper.

We feel so lucky that Valerina was willing to house sit for us while we were on vacation. She was terrific in every way - kind, responsive, responsible, left our place spotless and immaculate, and everything was in perfect order when we returned. We hope she will house sit for us again. Highly recommend.

Julia was wonderful. She took great care of our home, garden and pup! We would be glad to have her back for another stay in the future. Thanks Julia!

We are so happy that Amanda came to care for Bella. If you’re reading this review, wondering if you should have her for you sit, don’t wait another minute - book her. She cared for Bella for a week and we didn’t worry at all. Amanda’s communication leading up was very thorough. We were not able to meet in person so she asked all her questions upfront. Her communication throughout the sit was perfect with the occasional updates. I’ve already invited Amanda back for any sit she wants. You’d be lucky to have her caring for your pets. And, she left our house absolutely clean and tidy - much appreciated.

Leah and Nigel were excellent pet- & house-sitters! Our dog and cat seemed very happy with them, they communicated regularly with us re: pics and updates, and we returned to a very tidy home. We would gladly welcome them back and recommend them to others. Thank you, Leah & Nigel!

Jennifer and her daughter were awesome! True animal whisperers. They took care of all the dogs, the cat, and the horses, and I have to admit that I'm not sure all of them were thrilled to see me when I came back, laugh. Jennifer sent me updates and funny stories via text while I was gone, which was great. They also took great care of the house and grounds. I highly recommend them!

We loved having Staci take care of our precious Livia and our home. She went above and beyond to make everything lovely for Livia and the house. She picked figs in the garden, she fed the fish in the pond, she watered everything, and loved Livia as if she were her own dog. We couldn't be more pleased.
