I had a very pleasant stay looking after Bella and Jack. Communications with Brenda were easy and she left me clear instructions for the pets feeding schedules, walking instructions, etc. The home is cozy and well equipped for a stay of any length. Bella is well behaved, walks well on a leash, and listens to commands. She Loves to go on her 'sniff' walks, and there is plenty of park and green space nearby with walking paths. Jack is an active kitty who loves having your attention in between naps, and will often get the zoomies or chatter at birds through the window. Quite enjoyable and comfortable. I would recommend.
OMG, what a special housesit. Sara and John have built themselves a modern home leaning toward the traditional architecture. Its very comfortable. The lifestyle is special settled in the heart of a deep mountain valley with a few helpful neighbours and plenty of wild goats. There are many ancient trails through the valleys and over the mountains past remains of stone farms and fences. The views will last in your memory for ever. The island of Andros is a small mountainous island so you are never far from stunning vistas. Its a once in a lifetime experience. Now about Sara and John, retired Brits full of life and good humor. They are very gracious hosts. The pets all have unique and adorable personalities. Exceptional house sit over all and we will be friends forever.
We had a lovely week taking care of the gorgeous Douglas in Hove. Douglas (or Doug, Dougie or Dougster!) is an adorable and fun whippet cross with a very loveable personality. He stole our hearts after only spending six days together. He is a fit and friendly dog - clearly very loved and taken care of by his owners Helen and Adam. Dougie warmed up to us after 1-2 days and was our special companion for the week - going out on walks, joining us at the pub or watching TV with us at night. We took Dougie for twice-daily walks to the nearby beach or park. He loved having time off the leash to chase a ball, but was also quite happy to trot along by our side. He also enjoyed spending time relaxing or sleeping in the house, and was happy to have us as his company. Helen and Adam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home, even picking us up from the train station and making sure we had everything we might need for a comfortable stay. They live in a wonderful location in Hove, close to supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, shops and many places to take Dougie for a walk (and the lovely beach is only minutes away). Their house is central, spacious, well-equipped and stylish and only a 20-minute walk to the nearest train station. We would highly recommend this house-sit and wish Helen, Adam and Douglas all the best!
Had such a lovely month with adorable little Lola. She’s very sweet and so easy to get along with. Already missing our time together. Gavin and Daniel are amazing hosts who are very kind, trusting and really lovely people. Their home is beautiful. Absolutely recommend sitting for them and getting to know and spend time with Lola- it’s a treat!

This was such a fun sit. The dogs are amazing company and are so good on hikes, walks, out on the town, etc. Archie is also the best. I already miss them all. The house was spotless, location was great, and Madison was SO helpful and communicative. I had a blast and would literally come back any time!!!!

We have used Charlie to care for our 2 dogs (can be high maintenance) and 2 cats for a 1 1/2 years. He takes extremely good care of them and treats them like his own furry companions. He is trustworthy and dependable. I highly recommend him but don't book him when we might need him!--LOL
Charlie watched our dogs for us over the holiday weekend and we are so thrilled with what an amazing job he did. We were updated at every visit and he sent pictures with a run down of how they were all (5!) doing. Charlie has been looking in on my cats several times a year since 8/2021. Living outside of Ann Arbor, it can be a challenge to find a reliable pet-sitter; we live in between a few areas. Charlie took detailed notes & always asks for updates. Although we often have our pooch stay with family, our pooch approved Charlie. When Charlie has been taking care of our cats, most of them don’t hide when we get home, so we know they were well-cared for. We have some special needs pets; our elderly cat throws up a lot and has been refusing to use litter box, & Charlie has been accommodating with the potty-pads & the house is neat and mess-free. He plays with our kitten & sends photo updates. When I haven’t checked my messages promptly (I do a lot of the driving and we go off grid), he texted my partner to make sure we got the updates. Charlie communicates clearly about dates and fees. He is reliable & has been understanding when I’ve had to change plans. I like that pet-sitting is not a side-gig for him, but something he mindfully pursues. I also like that Charlie himself performs the services & comes to our home. He explained his approach to pet-sitting & he doesn’t over-commit himself. Charlie cares about our pets too. Although he hasn’t pet-sit for our dog, he always asks about her and how she’s doing. He’s pleasant, reliable and affordable and I can’t thank him enough for the peace of mind he gives us so we can travel and have no worries about our fur-babies at home.
Charlie is amazing! I feel so lucky to have found him. I have a large German Shepherd (Jagr) who can be very nervous and a unwelcoming. Charlie just seems to have a way with dogs - I think they must sense his kindness. I love that Charlie gives me updates - with pictures! - to let me know all is well. I feel so comfortable leaving the care of my pup to Charlie when I travel. I cannot recommend him enough!

Charlie is the best pet caregiver you could find! He has been caring for our pets for years. He is reliable, conscientious and loves dogs and cats. Our three pets get excited to see him every time he comes. Charlie sends photos of our pets while we are on vacation. A bonus is how nicely he leaves our home.
We recently went on our first vacation after adopting our cat, and I wasn’t sure how our Toast would react to a stranger. I’m am pleased to say that she absolutely loved Charlie! She warmed up to him immediately. He sent daily texts updating me on how Toast was doing, and even sent photos. I was completely confident in her care while we were gone. She got lots of playtime and love, and Charlie will definitely be our go-to pet sitter for the future.

My husband and I travel for work, and we've been using Kayla's dog sitting services consistently for awhile now. She's not only caring and engaging with our two pups, but she's incredibly accommodating and helpful with our difficult schedules. She always goes above and beyond to make everything work out, even if we need some coverage last minute. She has also been very understanding when our younger puppy has had puppy accidents/lapses in behavior. Kayla is definitely the type of person you want to be responsible for your dogs when you cannot be around. I can't say enough positive things about our experiences with her.
If you every worry about where your dogs going to be while your gone, look no further. I was worried about sending my dog to a friends, and my family was going out of town with me. I didn’t want to send her to an expensive place, with large amounts of dogs in one area. So I contacted Kayla and set up and meet and greet. She was kind and brought her dog Dewey with her to the local dog park a mile away from her house so my girl and hers could meet first. She made sure she had all the information about my dog in advance, and assured me everything would be alright. Her house gave me the feeling that she was with family and was going to be personally attended to. Something that, to all dog owners, is key. I would definitely recommend Dewey’s Dogs and Kayla. Pictures and videos through out the sit was a great way to keep my mind at ease.

I was so nervous when we left our 1 year old dog for the first time. But I received pictures and videos of what she was doing. When we got back she was so tired from all the playing she had done, she sleep for almost 2 days. We will definitely be using Kayla again!!

I would give Doggie Latchkey 10 stars if I could! They have been amazing to work with since the very first consultation with the owner Denise. We got a dog for my Grandmother living in Assisted Living in September and the team of dog walkers; Evan, Marlon, Anthony and Kaylee have truly been the most communicative team. They care for my Grandmother's dog so much (giving her treats, belly rubs, proper medication, dog trainings, and lots of attention) and I am so grateful to hear how they care for her. But mostly I am so impressed with the kindness and respect to my Grandmother. Often they go over time chatting with, and they text me if there is an problem they see in the house. I absolutely love doggie Latchkey and I wish I could rate them more than 5 stars. I am so impressed with their services, their attention to detail, and the great care they've shown me and my reactive doggie. I have a 2 year old border collie, who happens to be a handful, he is reactive to other dogs, and very protective of me and his space, he requires plenty of exercise, attention, patience and treats, and on top of that, as an owner I am very particular about my expectations for his care and very nervous about leaving him with new people. I take my dog's safety and comfort very seriously and I make that very clear... with all of these factors in mind, I know it is not easy to deal with multiple emails, and questions, and finding the right fit for him. Denise has been wonderful throughout all of our interactions, she responds to my emails and calls within an hour, she has gone above and beyond to reassure me, answer my questions and find mack the right sitter. Both Evan and Caryn have been absolutely wonderful with Mack, they were patient and knew how to approach him and interact with him to make him feel safe and comfortable enough to show his playful personality. I've met both Evan and Caryn separately and during different occasions and they were both so kind, respectful, attentive to my directions and request regarding Mack's care, and so sweet to him. I highly recommend booking services with either one of them. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company and I feel very lucky to have them as an option that not only provides my dog with excellent care but also gives me peace of mind as an owner.
I don't usually write reviews but my experience with Doggie Latchkey was amazing! I was traveling through Michigan and staying at a hotel in Ann Arbor, I needed to leave my 1 year "active" puppy in the hotel for a few hours and called several dog sitters to get service. Denise the owner at Latchkey is the only one who called me back within just a few minutes. She was very reassuring and even helped me create my profile online as I was in route and unable to do it right away. She told me Marlon would be coming to stay with my dog and he was fairly new but just to be sure she would also send Evan to help and provided extra training because I was so nervous. Evan & Marlon were both fantastic, went above and beyond and played with and kept my pup entertained. Marlon even took it upon himself to stay later than scheduled because the hotel had a fire alarm go off and he was worried about the dog being by himself. I wish I lived here and could use this service all the time. I highly recommend them!!!!
We have always received excellent service from Doggie Latchkey. We previously had a diabetic cat that required insulin injections and we were so pleased when we moved to the area and found Doggie Latchkey! It was so much less stressful for our cat to stay home and have someone stop by and give her shots twice a day than to have to board her when we went out of town. And the services are very affordable. We are down to just one cat now, but he hates going to the vet so we are very happy to be able to just have Doggie Latchkey check on him when we go out of town for a few days. Would definitely recommend Doggie Latchkey to anyone with pets that don't do so well with boarding.
I love Doggie Latchkey! I have a Pomeranian with separation anxiety and just hate to leave the little guy on his own. Doggie Latchkey has been an excellent solution. He got to know his pet sitter during the meet and greet and we both became very comfortable with her. He loves his Doggie Latchkey visits now and I love the text message updates I get to know he is OK. They even send along photos of him with their text when I ask! I could not be happier with the service and highly recommend their company.

My mom has used Bwana Brigs for years.. she was recently in the hospital and Bwana Brigs was able to take care of her dogs with very short notice and was VERY responsive via text. Highly recommend them!
Bwana Briggs Pet Care has done a wonderful job for us over the past 5 years. We didn't have anyone to watch our cats while we were gone and Brigg was amazing. He even brought my cats a toy that they fell in love with! I highly recommend his services!

Do not hire peaceable pets for cat sitting. Absolutely the worst experience ever. Left for two weeks and came home to a very messy house where the cat had knocked over plants and clocks and there’s was litter from his box all over the floor. I guess it didn’t occur to Marcy, the woman assigned to our cat, to pick any of it up. She never even fully cleaned the litter box that whole time. I guess it’s in the fine print on the website that it’s an extra $10 for a complete litter box cleaning. After we came home she held onto our house key and delayed on getting it back to me for a week and a half after multiple requests because it’s in their policy to hold onto peoples house keys for the next time their service is needed?? And guess what, if you what it back it’s another $10 fee. Absolute scam and creepy that it’s their policy. The worst part of everything is that my young cat while we were gone was able to eat several things like hairbands (don’t know where he found them) and now they’re clogged in his intestines. I’ve payed almost $1000 trying to fix him but can’t afford surgery so he is likely going to be put down. I’m very tempted to blame this service that their poor care of my cat is why we are in this situation now. Before I went out of town I had a perfectly healthy cat. I’m totally heartbroken.
This is a review for dog walking, doggy daycare, and dog boarding. I found Peaceable Pets after a very thorough vetting (I am convinced I should have been cast in the movie Best in Show--yes, that is how much of a crazy dog lady I consider myself). Time and again, people on the Ann Arbor Dog Owners Facebook group mentioned Peaceable Pets. I read all the reviews, stalked Peaceable Pet’s Facebook page (where Robin posts videos of her guests and informative articles about all things animals), scrutinized the information on her website, did a meet and greet with Marcy, our dog walker, a play date at the Dellwood Doggy Ranch (required for doggy daycare and boarders). I give it 10/10 stars. Peaceable Pets is an Ann Arbor treasure. You will not find someone more knowledgeable about dogs than Robin. Some reasons I love what Robin offers: 1. She understands my dog’s unique personality, quirks, and needs. 2. She prioritizes the safety, well-being, and quality of life for my dog. 3. The pick-up and drop-off times worked well with my schedule, which was variable for a while, and then predictable for another while. 4. I trust her 100%. 5. Every time I bring Hagrid to her, he bounds toward her and doesn’t even look back to say goodbye. Every dog parent knows that is a good sign. 6. Hagrid is calm and content when he returns from daycare. ...I could go on and on. As for dog walking, Marcy was wonderful and reliable. A few times I bumped into Marcy while I was walking Hagrid and saw his entire body language and vocalization over his joy of seeing Marcy. There is no stronger endorsement than that, in my opinion. To top it all off, Robin and Marcy have really interesting personalities, back stories, and talents when they are not caring for our beloved animals. Marcy speaks French. Robin sings in a band. They are the absolute best.

This is Disneyland for dogs. Chris and his staff truly take care of your pup as if s/he were their own. We’ve used Countrytime for more than 5 years and could never imagine a week without our pup going for a playdate. Highly recommend.

Owner really likes his clients (dogs) and takes great care of them! I dislike kennels where there are tons of dogs as mine gets overwhelmed. Here there is a limited number and Chris interacts with the dogs regularly! Plus it's a beautiful place in the country!
Love this place. Chris, Dawn and Crystal take great care of my dog and treat him as if he is one of their own. I love how they post daily photos on Instagram of the dogs playing at daycare. If there are any concerns they do not hesitate to mention it.
I was in desperate need of a place to board my Great Dane. Given that many corporate kennels were closed on New Year’s Day, I was having trouble finding somewhere that could accommodate my schedule. Countrytime K9 saved the day! I not only found a kennel that could accommodate my schedule but I found a kennel that truly cares about making dogs and owners feel as happy and at ease as possible. Countrytime K9 has the nicest kennels I have ever used for boarding. Their converted horse stables are a perfect design for giving your dog plenty of space to move around. In addition, each stall is connected to its own outdoor play area, accessible by doggy door. The play areas are very big and provide plenty of space for dogs to get plenty of exercise. There is no question Countrytime K9 is at the top of my list for places to board my dog. The owners are some of the nicest, most accommodating people I have done business with. To top it off, they have extensive experience with Great Danes (something most kennels do not)! I plan on using Countrytime K9 in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a place to board their fur baby.
Countrytime is the best! Our Australian shepherd comes home tired every time, which is a rarity for her! Highly recommend. All of the staff is amazing with dogs and really gives your dog personal attention and care.
We could not be more pleased with the professionalism and care that our Rottweiler and German Shepard received. Chris is both gifted and at ease in dealing with dogs. The facilities are beautiful and very clean. 10/10
I’ve been taking my GSD here for almost 2 months and they take very good care of her for a very reasonable price. They keep to get 2 hour feeding schedule and will give your pup the most care and attention that you could ever ask for.
Reliable, responsible, and a great experience for our dog. Fast Fido days are the the highlight our guy’s week. He can’t wait to get jump into the van and roll to farm with his buddies. The owner clearly knows and loves dogs.
