Jamie, Kristin and DoodleBug were a joy to sit for! Their house was clean, well organized and their instructions were clear and very simple to follow. They were easy to communicate with before, during and after the sit as well. And then there's DoodleBug - he is so cuddly and cute - we couldn't get enough of him. We were very happy he chose to sleep with us at night and keep us company! We definitely recommend a sit at their place!
What an amazing place to stay in the green but so close to London. I loved everything about Karen's home, it is spacious and comfy. The bedroom, the garden, even a gym, a dream come true :) It's close to large green areas where you can easily walk the dogs and close to London and the main train stations. Dora and Lola are very easy-going, they need a bit of walking and love to play in the park and the garden. Dora is fond of balls and could play forever and Lola is a stick chewer. They chill the rest of the day and always enjoy a treat or a good cuddle. It was a pleasure to take care of them. I'll be back in a few months and look forward to it!
There is little we can add to the great feedback left by previous sitters - Sarah and Pete truly are wonderful hosts who make you feel right at home from the first moment you arrive. In fact, we felt like we had known them for a long time already! Their home is very comfortable and they left it super clean for us. It's in lovely location practically next door to the beautiful Emirgan park, a quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the touristic centre, allowing you to experience a different side of the city. Of course, we can't forget to mention the real stars of the show: Kedi and Squeak! These two beauties were an absolute delight to care for. Squeak is such a confident girl - she was all about the cuddles and play time right from the start. Kedi needs a little bit more encouragement, but she warmed up to us pretty quickly (treats helped :-D ). Both cats are super sweet and made our stay that much more enjoyable. All in all, we would highly recommend this house sitting opportunity to anyone. Thanks again for having us! <3
My experience house sitting at Zeljka & Niall has been absolutely wonderful! When I arrived, I was immediately very warmly welcomed and was given also very great recommendations for the surroundings. They even left some really nice Croatian food for me, for after my trip. The communication was very friendly, immediate, and enjoyable. They are very accommodating, and incredibly helpful if ever I had any question. The house itself is very big, spacious and with lots of light in the living room; the kitchens are fully equipped and contain everything that you need. It is nice and peacefully located within a small and calm village surrounded by forests and meadows. Perfect for going for a nice and refreshing walk / hike once in a while. Since I was working a lot from my laptop, it was great to have the opportunity to sit either in the big downstairs or upstairs part of the house, or even in the outside covered area nicely looking out over the fields. Also, the internet connection was absolutely perfect. Tiggy is one of the sweetest cats you will get to meet, very easy to take care for. He likes to spend most of his time outside and comes around for a little affection or food from time to time or when he feels hungry. Had an absolutely great experience and would definitely recommend house sitting for Zeljka & Niall! Thank you very much for all!
Mr Smee is a clever, affectionate, energetic bundle of loveliness and is a pure delight to be around. The pure beauty of the area is unsurpassed in the UK and the light on the Loch changes with each passing moment throwing shadows across the horizon. My time with Mr Smee was truly magical in a beautiful home and stunning location. He took a small piece of my heart but left me with lovely memories of our time in Appin, Fort William, Ben Nevis and all round the Isle of Mull and our quiet times at home around the kitchen table or sitting in the beautiful garden.
We had a pleasant sit at Chelsea and Mike's! Their playful, sweet kitty, Pancake, was a joy. She is young and curious and followed us wherever we went in the house. Then at night she snuggled up in our bed. She is very social. The home is comfy and clean and the neighborhood is quiet. Chelsea was a pleasure to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this sit!
