We've had Dorothy sit for our two cats twice this summer (see previous review.) This second time, it was reassuring to know that we've left our house and family members (cats) in charge of someone who is caring, knowledgeable, respectful and responsible. When we returned, we could tell that Dorothy and her partner had taken good care with everything. The cats were well and playful. The house was as clean or more-so as we left it and she was careful to put things back where and as she found them. We work hard to make sure the house is left as clean for the housesitter as we would like to find in a similar situation. We appreciated not having to clean up when we got home as we have had to do with another housesitter.) There was no hesitation in accommodating our wish to be in-house for the first night (they joined us for dinner and we enjoyed their company), and also when their travel plans allowed. Dorothy was very responsive whenever we had a question or concern. We hope she will be able to sit for our cats and house again.

Shannon

Having Shannon take care of our cats and house was a seamless joy! She was super responsive and reliable. We had a couple of zoom calls before we left and she kept good communication throughout our travels. She kept us updated on how things were going and even let us know when we were running low on prescription food which she then went and picked up. She was flexible when we thought our return plans might change and the boys warmed up to her quickly. She added air to the tires in the car which had been sitting for a while, and left both house and car in pristine and spotless condition. She was everything you could want in a sitter. She is welcome back anytime. The cats told me so.

Without a doubt, Melanie was the best pet sitter! Our dog Murphy loved her as soon as she walked in the door. Melanie has a calming energy and is so loving with animals. She was responsive, on time, very responsible. and left our place tidy and clean. I will be choosing Melanie again and I recommend you do too!

Karen was a good pet sitter who took care of Bagheera and kept the apartment very neat and tidy. She made sure to communicate well before the sit to know what to expect, how best to take care of Bagheera and apartment needs. She was very nice and Bagheera looked happy, and wasn't bothered by our return as his routine was kept.

Nardia & Ed

I can't recommend Nardia highly enough! Everything about this sit was seamless from the first time Nardia wrote me with interest through my coming home to find a spotless house, happy cats, pet bowls clean, litter box clean, etc etc. We had the perfect amount of communication before, during and after the weekend. It's clear that Nardia has done this before and I felt more than comfortable leaving my home and my two cats in her care. She handled them and everything so graciously and with ease. I also so appreciated that she (upon my asking) clipped both cat's nails - something I only realized the day I was leaving and one of them got a nail stuck in the couch :) that needed to be doing. She had no problem with it. I hope she'll come back!

Cailey

Cailey was the perfect pet-sitter! She arrived when she said she would, had read the house manual so she only had to ask a few questions, and was fun to talk to. Once we were gone, she gave us updates on the cats and kept us abreast of their activity. Cailey departed our house before we returned but had left the house spotless and had loaded the washer with her sheets and towels. I was also comforted to know that Cailey had some vet tech experience since our cats are outdoor cats and need to kept a closer eye on in case of fights or falls. She even cleaned up their hunting victims without blinking an eye and informed us when she found a worm in some cat vomit (ringworm!). She even offered to administer the medication from the vet. All this to say, please don’t hesitate to consider Cailey for your pet sitting gig - she’s reliable, level-headed, neat, and kind.

Chelsea

Chelsea has been the best sitter I have had yet! She is very friendly and easy to talk to, self sufficient, and I came home to a spotlessly clean home. Most importantly, I know she took great care of my kitty (I always know she was well cared for when she’s aloof to my return home). Chelsea is welcome back to my house for sitting whenever I can get her!

Mary

We loved having Mary sit for Yukon and Ophelia! She and her family gave them lots of attention and love and we are so glad they were able to be here. Mary checked in frequently and asked questions where needed. Hoping we can stay in touch for future sits.

Mark

We highly recommend Mark as a house and pet sitter. He stayed at our house for six weeks while we were travelling. Mark communicates well and is friendly. We had a couple enjoyable dinners together when we were back in town for a few nights. He's tidy and respectful of our house. He used the car for errands, and it was in great shape. Our dog and cat both love him. Our dog is sometimes a lot of dog, and Mark handled her well. This was our second zeewoi experience, and we'd welcome Mark back anytime we can help each other out.

Kimberly

Kimberly was great, in fact we asked her to do another sit but sadly she was not available. She is very responsible, really pleasant and enjoyable to spend time with, and had her dog with her and she and our dog got along swimmingly. We'd definitely ask Kimberly to sit for us again and would recommend her to anyone.

Malu

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Malu. She took such excellent care of our creatures, especially our mischievous, extremely high-energy puppy. She's welcome back anytime, we'd be luck to have her stay at our place again!

Melissa and Chris looked after our cat Robin and our apartment for about 10 days over New Years, and we could not have been happier with them. They were both very considerate and kind, and you could tell that Robin loved them. They kept in constant communication with us, left the place spotless, and even did a couple additional errands for us without us even having to ask. We would be overjoyed to have them come take care of Robin again!

Carly

Carly & Tasso have a lovely home and were wonderful hosts. They provided detailed instructions and had clear communication prior to and throughout the sit. Valley is such a sweet pup, she obeys her commands very well and is such a snuggler! She also knows the area very well so it's impossible to get lost on a trail with Valley as expert navigator! Overall it was a very enjoyable sit, the neighborhood is super cute and a short drive to the lakes.

Theresa and Harvey were top notch hosts. This was my wife's first THS experience and it couldn't have gone any better. We met them in the morning and after a quick and cheerful greeting from Seamus and Finn, Theresa gave us a tour of their lovely home and explained all. 

The dogs were well behaved and respond very well to the command "place" which came in handy when their paws were wet from the rain. We really enjoyed their different personalities and they were content to chill with us on the couch and on the deck in the sun (when it decided to present itself). 

We also managed to find time to explore Saratoga Springs. We walked the dogs on N Broadway and were awestruck by the old mansions and history of the area. For dinners, we sampled those suggested by Theresa and Harvey and we were not disappointed. Delicious!

On all accounts we had a great experience and would love to have the opportunity to care for Seamus and Finn again sometime. Thanks.

Alice and Pete were so welcoming when we arrived and their home is lovely. They had everything organised and introduced us to 'the boys'. Wesley, Shadow and Buddy are lovely cats, were very independent and accepted us quickly. They were friendly and enjoyed our company in the evenings. It was very easy to give Buddy his medicine each day. We really enjoyed our stay and there was lots to do in the area. A great cat sit.

Justines home is in the greatest location for downtown Vancouver - quiet, steps from the ocean, Stanley Park and great restaurants.
 Vanilla was a pleasure to sit, super affectionate and cuddly.

We really loved our time house-sitting with Betty the dog and Mowser the cat. Jess and her family are so friendly and warm, we instantly got along, and we felt very welcome in their home. The house is really well located, 5 mins walk from shops, bars and restaurants, and with good connections to the rest of Bristol. Many dog-walking options are accessible on foot or quick bus rides. We fell in love with Betty, she was playful, easygoing and well behaved - and we seemed to grow on her with each day that passed. It was very difficult to say goodbye. Mowser is a super independent cat who came in and out as she pleased, and we enjoyed her purring and affection when she was around! We had a great time and we'd love to come back to Bristol sometime!

Zina

This sit was a wonderful experience. The dogs stole my heart. I did have to get up earlier than the 6-7 am suggested in the listing to care for Matoke’s health needs and to prevent or clean up after accidents. Limited bus service is available near the house, which was a pleasant surprise. Dancers can find swing and shag classes and socials, too. My favorite experiences were the Soda City Market and hanging in the backyard. I enjoyed some good restaurants as well. Thank you, Zina and Keith.
