This was a thoroughly enjoyable sit, friendly and kind hosts, amazing pets, beautiful house and gardens, and in an idyllic location! We were warmly greeted by Sally and Phillip and sat down to a delicious supper with the family. Conversation flowed; Sally and Phillip are such interesting people who also kindly showed an interest in us, so we felt very relaxed and comfortable. We were given a tour of their beautiful house and gardens, and Phillip even took us for a short drive to show us some of their favorite walks. The stars of the show were Daphne and google. Two delightful, well behaved and affectionate pets. Daphne was the sweetest little girl and we enjoyed taking her out and about with us, on walks in the New Forest and to The George Inn by the river in Fordingbridge, where she behaved impeccably. Google the cat was equally delightful and affectionate and we all had lots of fun together. We would highly recommend this sit and would love to revisit in the future. Thank you Sally and Phillip for the joy of looking after your pets and home, in such stunning surroundings.
We loved our time with George and Bertie! We spent Christmas and New Years in Wandsworth and had the company of the sweetest cats. Alex and Jeremy were wonderful hosts and when meeting them the day before our sit we instantly felt comfortable and welcome. George and Bertie were some of the nicest cats we've ever met! They're very friendly, cuddly, and love to have you around. We miss them both already! The home is beautiful and in a great location close everything you need and getting into central London is easy. We would happily return to this sit and highly recommend it!
This was an unforgettable experience. From the great location to the incredible house with a kitchen that felt like a culinary paradise, and the most lovable cats you could imagine. These furry companions were not just pets; they were friendly, affectionate, and full of personality. Spending time with them felt like a true privilege. They provided companionship and brought endless joy to my stay. The dedication of Liam to their cats was truly heartwarming. He provided detailed instructions and made sure I had everything I needed to care for his kittys. His commitment to their pets' well-being was evident, and I was happy to be a part of ensuring the cats were well taken care of. I'm already eager to do it again! :)
It was such a privilege to meet Sasha and stay in her lovely home in Brighton. The cats Sydney and Melbourne were a joy to look after as each had their own unique character The location is perfect and is approx 20 minute walk into centre of Brighton and about 10 walk minutes to the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return again next year.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves looking after Sid and Woody for a weekend. Quelli’s home is beautifully cosy and a perfect sanctuary! We particularly loved cooking in the kitchen, going for walks with Woody and cosying up by the fire.
Really lovely house-sit opportunity! Maavi is the cutest and sweetest pup out, literally an angel. He has been the only dog I've sat that I've felt completely comfortable letting off the leash at the dog park because he is so chill & well-behaved. He actually comes across a little bit human in his level of intelligence & thoughtfulness! Just seems to understand things! The sit is beautifully located, just 9mins walk to Manly Beach, with many more even closer. The flat is lovely, light-filled, airy and easy to access. Very relaxing! Karin is great! She is very reliable and friendly, and our dog Maggie is always so excited to see her when she comes for their walks. She always sends pictures or videos of their walks with updates on how Maggie did. Maggie is still a puppy so Karin has been helping us work with her to teach her good behavior when she is out in the neighborhood. It makes my days at work so much easier knowing Karin is taking such great care of Maggie. I would highly recommend her!

Karin is extremely reliable, responsive and goes over and beyond just taking my dog for a walk. I always feel good when I leave for work knowing that she is coming to walk him, play with him and give him all the extra love and attention he needs. Karin is the absolute best- we affectionately refer to her as “second mom” in our house. One of our dogs was a rescue and came from a pretty tough life so is not great with strangers and she absolutely adores Karin. Karin has been nothing but kind, patient and gentle with her since day one and has earned her trust. Our other dog is a massive, energy filled goofball who worships Karin, when I say “second mom” he starts running around and whining to try and find her. I would never let anyone else in our home with our dogs besides Karin. She is responsible, reliable and your dogs will be in the best care!
Karin is great at what she does! She has boarded our dog at her house several times, when we have gone away on vacation or hosting a party here. She is always sending my son videos of their walks and adventures. She even lets our dog sleep in her bedroom, so she is not lonely. Karin lives close by to us. Every time my dog sees her when we are out walking, she goes nuts trying to get to Karin for hugs and love.
Karin was wonderful. She watched our goldendoodle for the weekend when we got married this fall - she even brought him to the church so we could get pictures with him! She sent us pictures of their walks together and we felt at peace knowing he was so happy in her care. We will absolutely use her anytime we need overnight care again!

She is extremely reliable and will truly care for and love your pet as if they were her own. Our 11 year old golden retriever, Joey, has been staying with Karin for the past three years whenever we go away. We could not be more happy with her service! She treats Joey like a member of her family and my kids even joke that Joey is on vacation when he stays with Karin. We reached out to Nancy a couple of times for overnights for our young male lab and she was great! Our need increased after a cancer diagnosis and she was super accommodating to our sporadic schedule while I was unable to walk him at all. Now Nancy comes 2x a week most weeks and our baby seems to really love it! He gets excited when he sees her pull up and is tired but happy when he gets back home. I recommend Nancy and Take the Lead!
We used Nancy and Take the Lead for several years while we lived in Scituate. She was great. 15 months ago we moved to Atlanta but now (10/16) we are moving back. Since moving to Scituate in June 2011, Nancy and Take the Lead Pet Care have been like a second family to our 3 1/2 year old Portuguese Water Dog, Farley, and our kitties. Nancy provides the utmost in care and experience and has been there for us whenever we've needed her--whether a last minute schedule change for impromptu dog care, or as a caring support to show us tips and techniques when our cat Izzy was terminally ill. Our dog Farley joins in her doggie outing group several times a week and always comes home happy and exhausted! Take the Lead is fantastic! When we moved to Scituate a year ago Nancy was so kind and helpful to us in so many ways. When she takes our high energy vizsla (Ginger) for doggie play dates and walks, she comes home exhausted (not easy to do with Ginger!). Nancy is caring, compassionate, attentive and I feel 100% confident that Ginger is well cared for with her. I recommend TTL to any dog owner!!

I cannot recommend Nancy. Initially our experience with her was very positive. She was very flexible with our schedule and arrived when expected. That all changed this week. Scituate had a lockdown and Nancy never arrived at our house to let our dog out. We were not aware of the situation and she never called me to let me know she wasn't going to make it. My dog was left in the house without relief for twelve hours. I realize the lockdown was out of her control but making a phone call was not. Nancy assured me she would be a our house later in the week and again she never showed up and never called.
Take the Lead truly loves our baby and keeps him very active and social. Typically they walk our dog but the value they provide is the flexibility in their care. Time of day, length of service and even sleep over requests are all accommodated by Take the Lead. I have and would recommend their services to anyone that needs care for their pets because our dog is social, fit and well cared for by Take the Lead Pet Care.
Boarded my 2 dogs here for a week and I think they had a better vacation than me, all the staff really cares about the animals and gives them a lot of love and whatever they need. Great prices too would highly recommend to anyone

I get my dog groomed with Holly every few months. She is SO loving and caring to every dog in there. She does a fabulous job with her grooming and always gives advice on how to cut/shave depending on the time of year. Holly TRULY cares about the dogs there and I feel so comfortable bringing my dog Foxy in to get groomed with her. So thankful we found her! Highly recommend.

I have been boarding and grooming my dogs here for over 30 years. And I occasionally do daycare. I trust these people. Most of my dogs have loved going here. (Current dog not so much, but that's just her.) I recommend this place highly!
Elja kennels knows the breeds and does an amazing job! Our 6 month old Airedale is getting used to grooming and we are taking direction from Holly and keeping him looking good!

Our family cannot say enough about how much we love this doggy daycare. The owners, Missy and Nikki, along with their entire staff are the best! They care so much for each and every dog that comes through the doors as well as the parents of each dog. We have a great relationship with everyone and truly feel this is an amazing community to be part of. We recently lost our Weim to cancer and throughout his treatment he kept going to "school" and we would be provided an assessment at the end of each day on how he did that day. After he passed, the outpouring of love and support from Salty Dog and other clients blew us away. The are also very active on FB and IG so throughout the day the pictures of my pups playing in photos and videos are awesome to see. They are so happy there. Driving to "school" in the morning I hear constant excitement from the back seat as we get closer as they know exactly where they are going. Once we arrive, they bolt inside to see their friends. At pickup time, they are exhausted from all the fun they had that day. It's just a wonderful feeling to see them so happy and cared for. We HIGHLY recommend supporting this local female owned small business, you and your pup will not regret it! I know we haven't (6 years and still going every day!)

Our pup leaps out of the car every time and without questions is received with so much love and kindness EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!!! I’ve been taking my golden retriever to Salty dog for over a month now and it’s been such a great experience! My dog LOVES going there and runs through the door every time. The girls who own it are super friendly along with their staff. They definitely love the dogs like their own. Would highly recommend! We have been taking our sweetheart Penny to Salty Dog Daycare for 7 months now and could not be happier with the care that our pup receives. The new owners are so trustworthy and wonderful and we feel so comfortable leaving her in such loving hands. The rest of the staff is just as compassionate and they all clearly love their jobs. We got our rescue 3 1/2 years ago, he is a pit bull/Australian cattle dog mix. At the time, we lived in Pembroke about 5 miles from Salty Dog. We now live 45 min away, and still take Brodie to Salty Dog. They are the most loving, professional, greatest day care around. They know all their dogs likes and dislikes, their facility is clean and well organized. Missy and Nicki run an incredible business! I highly recommend them. From Brodie and his family!
Salty Dog Doggy Daycare is just the best! My dog is never more excited than when she goes to Salty Dog, and never more tired than when she gets home from Salty Dog. The employees are professional and curteous, and always have a smile on their faces. The space is nice and big with plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play. I would absolutely recommend Salty Dog Doggy Daycare to any dog owner.
Our family loves salty dog daycare! The owners are wonderful. They're very responsive even answering through text messaging and they take such good care of our one-year-old boxer. They keep him cool in the heat which means so much to us!

I have been bringing my dogs here for years. Steve and his Uncle before him are the only people I trust with my dogs. When Steve and his wife took over the business they really made sure to make a connection with folks who had been longtime customers and I can’t say enough about how kind, flexible and on top of things they are. We board and use daycare for our rescue mutt and our bullmastiff. They both come home happy and tired and I feel confident that if dogs being dogs occurs Steve and the staff are engaged and deal appropriately …just the best!
I know that when we have to leave Kenny behind, he is well taken care of at Brigadoon.
Where do I begin, I have to say that Stavros and Elizabeth and everyone at Brigadoon Kennels are just wonderful!! We Have been bringing my son's don Daisy (a Shiba Inu) there since she was a less thank a year. When looking for a place we just called and went there and Daisy has been shown so much Love we are so grateful for them and all they do for her she is so excited when we tell her we are going to see the doggies she knows where she is going. They are treated like there own and I never have to worry when she is there. My son is a paramedic / Firefighter in Scituate and his schedule can be crazy and they always do there best to help us out even in a pinch. Daisy and my son and I are so grateful they are part of our lives!!!
Our dog doesn’t get along with other dogs and some people but loves boarding here and the staff! They keep her separate and she always comes back super at ease. Love Brigadoon!
* NOT DOG REACTIVE/AGGRESSIVE FRIENDLY* Negative experience- my normal kennel Elja’s was full who is absolutely amazing with my dog and they adore her there, they have a great staff. So I called this place to see if I could get my dog in over the busy Christmas time. *I called and told them on phone the dates I needed and that my dog is dog aggressive and asked if they could accommodate that and they said yes, they can.* Steven was very condescending. As soon as I brought her in he had a very negative attitude about the dates how it is busy and her dog aggression. I work with dogs, I know dog temperments and TOTALLY understand if boarding wouldn’t work out due to this. The fact is I made them aware of her temperament and the dates over the phone and then when I got there they made it seem like I shouldn’t even be trying to board her at that time. ( when she does very well in the kennel when she has gone over Christmas/ other times). My dog then had an accident on floor and I said I’m sorry and he goes” oh this just keeps getting better” so I left as I did not feel comfortable bringing my dog there at this point( and he was in back for awhile). He then came out and asked me if that was it, I responded yes did you need anything else. He then tried to make me out as a liar asking why my normal kennel wouldn’t take her and that she’s a huge issue in a very condescending way. When I had already told him- no they absolutely love her they are just full the dates I need. I said if you really want to you can call them. ( Obviously another dog boarding place wouldn’t want to call another but he was acting like they didn’t want me back there or something when that is far from the truth) but his attitude towards this was aweful he goes pffff ya no not doing that. Overall very negative experience for us. I want to make this known for individuals who have dogs that are not friendly with other dogs who are looking for reliable boarding, this is not it!
My dogs have always loved it at Brigadoon. They’ve been there both for boarding and for daycare. They come home tired from playing all day and I never worry when we are on vacation- the care is outstanding!

Krystal and team are so amazing. I had a last minute request for medicine administration while I was already out of town. Krystal and team swooped in to take care of my coco girl. Not only do they provide top of the line customer service but they updated me with photos and notes on how the visit went. I was able to stay up to date without having to stress. Thank you all for taking care of her and saving me from having to come home early. You guys rock.
Kerri is always friendly, accommodating and reliable. Our schedule is sometimes unpredictable and she is always willing to accommodate us even when we book last minute. We feel very comfortable having her and her staff come into our home and take care of our pet. We have had walkers in the past afraid of our Belgian Malinois but Kerri is experienced, trustworthy and knowledgeable, our dog absolutely loves her!
I couldn’t be more pleased with Fetch! Kerri is so accommodating, flexible, personable, reliable, and professional. She’s definitely in the right business. My Golden Retriever Ellie adores her and is such a Waggy-tailed, happy pup when Kerri pulls into the driveway. I love the pictures she takes to document Ellie’s special time with Kerri. I highly recommend Fetch! And Ellie does too!
These guys are awesome. We have been using them since the very beginning and felt such relief finding a great dog walker that we trust. We have two large dogs and Kerri and her team take them on great walks and keep them happy. I can be at work with a clear head knowing that they are stopping by mid-day. Would 10/10 recommend. They are also very reasonably priced and reliable.

Keri is absolutely amazing! She is great with my 3 fur babies and goes above and beyond for them. She offers a variety of services at very reasonable rates. This is an extremely woke, progressive company run by Kerri who is an extreme feminist. I wouldn't let her or her company watch the raccoon that breaks into my trash bin. Completely unprofessional.

My toy ShihPoo loves it here! They separate the small dogs from the larger ones, this is the only way to ensure his safety and comfort. They are very attentive and caring, all dog lovers! Note there is a trial period to ensure your dog is a good fit, also usually a waiting list to get your pup in.
My dogs have been staying with Fox and Hound for 5 years now. My first service animal, Jack, was attacked and pretty badly injured. They paid the vet bill but it was tough to see a 16 year old dog go through the trauma and lengthy recovery. Now my new pal, who stayed there overnight last week contracted kennel cough. My vet said that even though immunized, certain strains of the virus can still infect. She's a sick pup. They should shut the place down for a thorough disinfection and more importantly, ask for medical records for all their dogs. The have never asked me for mine. Despite that they offer pick up and drop off, the main reason I continued to use them, I will never board my best pal there again. It's a far cry from the days that Robin was in charge and handled each account personally. Now it's just money, money, money.
Friendly, caring staff who manage the dogs well, giving them plenty of exercise and socialization, including outside activity as weather allows. My dog loves coming here, and our boarding experiences have been very positive.
My 4.5 year old lab mix has been going to Fox & Hound for 2 years, twice a week, for doggy daycare. She comes home happy and tired. The staff is phenominal!!! I highly recommend bringing your furbaby here for daycare, boarding and grooming. You will be very happy that you did!! And so will your pet.
My dog has had the opportunity to take advantage of many Fox & Hound programs - from Petit daycare and boarding in Norwell to puppy and now “adult” day training in Hingham. The staff is amazing!! Oh, and grooming by Lyndsey @ the Hingham location. She’s amazing too!
By far the best place I've ever taken my dog to board and for daycare. She loves going and comes home tired and happy. The staff is great and takes care of her like she's their own.
I've tried other kennels, but, this one is the best. My dogs tell me that anyway. And I tend to agree with them. They are happy and well-adjusted each time I pick them up. The owner cares and so do the staff.
Surprisingly disappointed - did not meet basic expectations. Felt like doing us a favor - not a good positive vibe. Appeared regulars get treated differently. Example: We enthusiastcally signed up for daily 15 minute walks over 6 day stay and we’re told these would occur unless there was really poor weather. When we picked him up we were ‘asked’ if it was ok that they walked him only 3 times - due to lack of available staff. Come on, you tell us after the fact that what was expected to happen did not happen - because you didn’t have staff?? Not cool - not how to run a business. I guess he was treated ok - seemed ok when I picked him up. But still, I feel bad, mostly disappointed in myself for putting trust in them - felt like I let my dog down. Not going back.
I have been working with Stephanie Curran, the owner of Recurve, for 6 years now. Before she even opened a shop, I had gotten my first puppy and needed help desperately. She took my Blue on hikes and did training sessions with me. Once she opened her shop, I was beyond excited! I lived in Brockton at the time, but I had no problem driving to Scituate before driving to Quincy for work. I knew that my dog, and now dogs, are in the best hands with the most knowledgeable and patient staff. They are always so happy and tired when I pick them up. I couldn't have asked to find a better trainer and daycare!
Ultra professional and caring daycare & boarding. My dog comes home happy and tired. The employees are top notch and the daycare is structured so there is always someone outdoors watching the dogs at play and giving correction if needed.
Did a great job on my Chocolate Lab and my Puggle. Their regular groomer retired and their nails had gotten REALLY long. Recurve K9 responded to my message promptly, got an appointment quickly and took us right away. Phenomenal job on both dogs. Will definitely be back!!
Best place you could leave your dogs. They always take the best care of them. Best employees that are nothing but helpful. It’s the only place and people I trust to leave my dogs with when I go on vacation or to leave with just for the day.
Employees are very rude - do not recommend edit- I pulled in to ask about openings for cat grooming as it was listed - I saw the closed sign and paused to check again your times - your employees left and I was blocking the exit so I drove down to the overflow parking lot to turn around- in the process of doing a 3 point turn - your employees drive down and stop the car in such a way that I could no long exit - I grab my phone to wait for them to move which had pokemon go as I have an auto catcher- your employees exit the car and walked over which weirded me out as their car was still blocking the exit- they asked why I was their and showed the phone because honestly I was baffled- they then said private property and then got back into the car and moved it so I could leave - the issue here is the blocked exit - I was there for a legitimate reason - your employees were just so hostile that I didn't both explaining because I desperately wanted to leave and never come back
As so many other dog owners, our pup is literally our child so we were understandably nervous to put her into the care of someone else. Mark and Stephanie, as well as their whole staff, are incredibly transparent, thoughtful and trustworthy. We recently left our little one to board there for 10 or so days while we were on vacation and things couldn't have gone more smoothly. We feel very lucky to have Recurve.
I had an amazing experience with Stephanie and Recurve! I am a first time dog owner and I had no idea what I was doing. Stephanie was a HUGE help with training my puppy! I saw so much improvement after each training session and it was really refreshing watching my puppy learn and grow into a very well trained and happy dog. We worked on leash walking, confidence building, recall, and much more. My ultimate goal was to be able to have my puppy off leash and because of Steph and Recurve, I can make that goal happen! I would highly recommend! I'm looking forward to bringing my puppy to Recurve for daycare and boarding in the future.
Cannot recommend Recurve K9 enough! We did the basic obedience training with our rescue dog, and Stephanie taught our dog obedience and so much more. She recommended food for our dog’s sensitive stomach, taught her how to walk on a leash without pulling, and answered all of our questions about how to care for our first dog. Stephanie and Mark are great people, and we trust them completely with our dog. She loves going there for daycare, and we look forward to boarding there soon!
We boarded our two dogs with Steph for the weekend and couldn't be happier. Knowing our dogs were well taken care of let us relax and enjoy the weekend. They came home clean, happy, and tired. I would highly recommend!

This daycare is amazing! They have cameras so I can see my pup, it's super clean, and even has special accomodations for pups that aren't too social. The staff are very professional and caring. They open nice and early which makes it so much easier with my work schedule. I'm so at ease leaving my best furry friend with them whether it's for daycare or boarding. Such a nice piece of mind. And my guy is so excited going there!
I highly recommend Buddy and Friends Doggie Daycare. The daycare team’s love for dogs is obvious through in the warm, welcoming environment they create for pets and their owners. I cannot recommend Buddy and Friends enough. If there were 6 stars, I'd give them that. I do not have a typical "daycare dog". He is amazing with people, but not always with other dogs. Buddy and Friends not only takes him, they love working with him. They tell me when he has bad days and good ones, and they work with him as a whole dog, not just another four legged paycheck. My dog loves going to daycare so much he has learned which exit off the highway is the right on and starts pacing the back seat to get me to drive faster. If you aren't sure if doggie daycare is right for your pup, reach out to Buddy and Friends. The staff is knowledgeable and they will take the time to work with every dog as an individual, and they will be honest and transparent with you, the pet parent. Our 1 yr old pup loves going to Buddy and Friends day care. Great staff and I love all the available add on options you can sign up for like peanut butter filled Kong or extra walks. They also have live feed cameras so you can check in on your pup anytime. :-) Highly recommend.
When Buddy and Friends Doggie Day Care opened up I was excited to take my 13 month puppy Buddy-Lou to a place close by to my home. Reading about the staff credentials, I wanted. My boy to interact with other dogs, learning from other dogs how to behave with staff snd dogs. Because he is always home with my other 10 yr old dog. Yes he goes to Lowes, stores that allows dogs We have been going there approximately 3 weeks, he gets excited driving into the parking lot.. you are professionally , and kindly greeted as you walk in. This facility is extremely clean( no dog/urine, feces smell). The front reception area iis welcoming. What i enjoy I can view what my boy is doing throughout his time there. Via webcam which is part of their facility. I highly recommend this Doggie Daycare. Each area has staff constantly attentive to each dog. When I leave my Buddy -Lou knowing he is having the best day.
My pups and Grandpup love it here! When they’re loaded in the car and we tell them they’re going to school, they go bananas. They even know the way to get there! They know the drill at drop off, I put them safely into a cubby in the entryway, it’s locked from my side then the handler receives them from the cubby door on the other side. I love this procedure so much, it keeps the entryway safe from crowding. After drop off I can peek in on them anytime during the day, they have free live cameras that you can access once your dog(s) are checked in. There really are so many things I love about this daycare, another huge one for me is pricing. They offer a multiple dog discount, so if you have more than one dog, you don’t have to break the bank to let them go and have fun and socialize with friends, both canine and human. Trust me, your dog(s) will come home happy and exhausted! I rarely write reviews but I’m so excited about this new business, I had to share! Bring your pup(s) to Buddy and Friends Doggie Daycare, and they’ll be smiling for sure!! 👏

We recently moved to Plymouth and we were eagerly looking for a reliable and friendly person to watch after our mini golden doodle if we needed to be out for the day. Luckily, our paths crossed with Christine and it has been excellent all around for both us and our dog. Christine has great communication, reliable service and most importantly is great with our dog. She is our go to walker and has even stayed with Finn overnight. Even with last minute requests, she always does whatever she can to be available. Moving is stressful but she has made it very easy for us and our dog to make sure he is always comfortable in a new place. I can’t wait to continue working with her and I know our dog is excited too.
Christine is an AMAZING dog sitter/walker. Our dog loves to see her and he’s always well taken care of and the pictures we get are too cute!
Christine is the best! She comes twice daily a couple days a week to give our guy the love, exercise & attention we can’t while at work. She takes the best pics, texts daily, and leaves notes so we know what they’ve been up to. Can’t recommend her enough!
