We went to visit Ed and the cats prior to our sit to make sure he was happy with us and vice versa also to meet the cats Daisy and Pebbles, Ed is a very hospitable gentleman who made us a lovely meal for our arrival at his home the day of the sit. We loved our experience at Ed’s the cats who were on their best behaviour, and they actually made friends with us, as they are older cats they didn’t do much playing but they did a lot of sleeping, we were able to get out and about and see what Hull and the surrounding areas had to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would gladly do this again, dates permitting, and would recommend this sit to all who care about pets.
Siggi is the star of this sit. She is super silly, sweet, cuddly, and easy to care for. She loves to go for walk and explore the neighborhood. The host, Marc and Linda are so kind and easy to communicate with. They left the home in great condition and provided me with a very nice welcome. The neighborhood is also great. Easy to get around either walking or catching the bus. This is a great sit and I would highly recommend this sit.
We thoroughly enjoyed our pet/house sit in Mittagong. Karen and Eric made us feel very welcome in their comfortable, well equipped home. The semirural property was perfect for walking and playing with the delightful, friendly dogs. The four hens, housed in an easy-care, fox-proof enclosure, provided us with delicious eggs on a regular basis. We would happily return.
Harriet gave us a warm welcome and a personal tour of her beautiful house and garden set in the peaceful Corvedale. We were invited to harvest any produce from the veg garden and made strawberry jam as the strawberries needed picking! Great support and conversation from Sam (gardener) & Kate (goat keeper) who live in the village. The dogs, Dilly and Dandy were super, characterful, lovely to have around and always up for a walk - we miss them! We didn't really feel the need to go anywhere else as there is a network of public footpaths straight from the door but the stunning foodie town of Ludlow is about a ten minute drive away. Highly recommended house sit and our favourite to date!
