Gail’s comfy home is located in a great neighborhood in NW Portland; lots of shops and restaurants are within walking distance; be advised that on-street parking can be a challenge to find and it’s pricey but that’s typical for most Portland neighborhoods close to restaurants. Ryia is a bit shy at first but she warms up quickly. She’s very sweet and will let you know if she’s hungry or that her litter box needs attention by vocalizing and reminding you to tend to her needs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Gail’s home taking care of Ryia.
We had a great time being here! The house is so welcoming and we felt very much at home! Roux is adorable! He took a while to warm up to us, and then would let us pet him on his own terms, which is great, he knows what he wants. Thank you for having us🙂
I had a fantastic time with Pepsi and Shirley at Darren and Jane’s beautiful home! Darren and Jane were so warm & welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. They were very flexible with my travel times and always quick to respond to any questions, which made for a super smooth and stress-free sit. The house is beautiful and very cosy, with a brilliant big kitchen that was lovely to cook in. It’s just a 5 minute walk from a tram stop that takes you into the city centre in no time at all, while also being a short walk to lively Prestwich village and incredible nature walks. Quiet and green but so close to Manchester—pretty perfect! Pepsi and Shirley are the sweetest little cats and very easy to care for. Pepsi liked to curl up next to me on the sofa while I worked, which was so lovely, and they both love a bit of playtime when in the mood. They like to be let in and out of the front door when they want to go outside, but this was no bother at all and they mainly like to snooze upstairs! This sit was a joy all in all and I hope to be back soon, thanks again Darren and Jane :-)
Paola is an amazing host, very communicative, did everything to make me feel like home, gave me a beautiful guide also, just a lovely person that i for sure recommend. Agghia and Gioia are the most beautiful and cute dogs i have ever seen, already miss them, very easy to get attached to they love company and cuddles ! The house is great, very well organized, clean and equipped.
Hey Walter and Louise, I had a great time staying at your house. The cats were nice and fun to play with. Your place is very comfortable. And I like the location. Rams Head Dockside is one of my favorite restaurants.
We loved our sit at David and Vicki's. Rokka is an older lady who sleeps mostly during the day but she loves her walks; so much so that you can actually see her smiling during walk time and after you get back. She lets you know that you did good by taking her out. :) She has the cutest teddy bear face. Her daughter Suki still has puppy energy, even at 7 years old. She literally jumps with joy as you bring their food out. She's very smart and knows how to play you when she wants something. It's quite adorable. She must have invented the term "puppy dog eyes." Even though they are bigger dogs, they're really easy to walk and take care of. David and Vicki were very helpful and responsive, and left us detailed instructions that we easy to follow. Their house is in an amazing neighborhood of Bend with parks and hiking/biking opportunities all around, as well as restaurants and even a farmer’s market within walking distance. Thank you for having us! We miss the girls.
