Omigosh, Katie and David are *amazing* house & pet sitters - my house has, I don't think, ever been as neat and tidy as it was when we returned from our vacation: K & D had kept it absolutely pristine and laundered everything, leaving nothing for us to do on our return. Arriving home exhausted at 11pm to a freshly made bed - fantastic. Peeve and Warlock were utterly spoiled and pampered, too, with plenty of brushing and attention and general good care. They're eyeballing me now as I write, wondering where the Nicer People went. Katie & Dave kept us updated throughout our trip - I didn't have to worry once. Would have them around again in a heartbeat. Thanks K&D! Appreciate you!

Camille was a fantastic housesitter! She was easy to communicate with and kept me updated throughout her stay, and even stayed for additional days when I had to change my flights. I came home to a happy cat and a tidy apartment, I cannot recommend her enough!

Katie was one of our best sitters ever! (And that's saying a lot - we've had great sitters from Zeewoi.) She was super easy to plan with, from the first email exchange to the final send-off. She sent us a bunch of great photos that proved our dog was having a grand old time with her. We'd invite Katie back in a heartbeat!

Nina was a fantastic house and dog sitter for us! She asked great questions in advance that made it clear she was a thoughtful, experienced sitter. During the visit Nina sent us amazing pictures of our dogs. It was clear they were relaxed, happy, and having a great time! Nina left the house incredibly clean and tidy. Kera was great - super self sufficient, arrived and departed when she said she was going to and was so compassionate when we told her Nellie was sick a few days later (nothing related to Kera, but we just had some questions to see if Nellie had been acting weird and her kindness showed through when I reached out about it!). Ley was an amazing sitter for my two cats. I left feeling reassured the cats were in good hands. She was reliable, communicative, warm, friendly, and self-sufficient. She sent me regular updates. She left my place neat and tidy and took good care of both the apartment and my kitties. Would recommend!

Victoria was an A++ house sitter! She kept a close eye on the garden (where I have fall seedlings growing), spent plenty of down time with our senior cat, asked questions (which I love!) and kept our home incredibly clean and tidy. Never had a worry that our cat or our home weren’t in great hands. 🙌 We hope to have Victoria visit again!

Maura and Douglas were wonderful from the beginning! They were so communicative, thoughtful, and our cats really felt at ease with them during the three nights we were away. We received daily updates and photos of our cats, and we knew wholeheartedly that they were in great hands. We came home to the cleanest apartment, and lovely flowers that brightened up our day. Maya worked out perfect.  We were able to meet in person prior to the sit and get to know each other and introduce her to Mira. She communicated while I was away and let me know how things were going. Mira arthritis meds came in the mail while we were gone and she kindly opened the pkg and gave to Mira. The place was nice and tidy when we returned. She even offered to wash the bedding and remake the bed. Mira was happy when we returned another sign of a successful sit. I hope to see Maya again!

It was absolutely great for me that Liv was able to come a couple of days early. I probably wore her out showing her things and sharing lots (too many?) of details about caring for Happy, who is my dog, and the apartment/plants. While I was gone, she was responsive to my text messages. I even asked her to send me some extra info (take a photo of a product for me, which she did immediately) and help (give some keys to a friend). She also helped another friend of mine (nearly 90 years old) to deal with a computer problem (went to her apartment) and went again about operating her mobile phone. That was well appreciated. She interacted with several of my friends.

Of course I was expecting regular updates, but within 29 days I only received two without first writing a text message. Still, I had not asked her ahead of time to do it more frequently. I am very grateful for how well she cared for Happy (the most important task - even cleaning his eyes and brushing his teeth). I think, too, she might have helped to better train him to be calm when the doorbell rings; however, she didn't tell me anything about doing it. On the day she left - she left - didn't say goodbye. Indeed, she brought me breakfast in bed with coffee early in the morning (I gratefully ate the cooked egg and drank the coffee but then promptly fell asleep again after nearly 20 hours of travel). But when I awoke, she was gone. I had no idea she was leaving that morning and Happy went around looking for her, too. I know it was with good intention because I was tired but it felt to be a strange ending. Still, we were in touch after, and that worked. So, to sum up: She did wonderfully at caring for Happy. I don't believe she is an intuitive plant person (she did well with composting) but, then, I have a lot of plants. The apartment was clean but not really tidy - a subtle difference. I guess I should have been clearer about communication expectations. I wish her well in her professional and house-pet sitting endeavours.
