Lavina was great! My three dogs aren't exactly easy, one is older and has dementia and wears a diaper, another has multiple health conditions, the third had never been left with a pet sitter before, but Lavina wasn't phased by any of that! I was so nervous to leave my littlest dog with separation anxiety, but she eased my fears with detailed daily updates so I could relax and enjoy my vacation. The next time we go out of town I will definitely give her a call.

I should have been left this review. My dogs went one way but got them back another. My youngest was the WORST. her ribs WERE SHOWING when I picked them up, she had a deep gash on her foot and mucus coming from her eyes, nose and mouth. SHE DIDNT LOOK STARVED WHEN I DROPPED HER OFF NOR WAS THERE ANY SIGN OF SICKNESS! I have before and after footage of all 3 of my pups! She was very healthy before my trip!! My vet bills are ridiculous!! Never once did she communicate she wasn't eating, everything was great according to her texts DAILY all 3 are eating regularly and she never mentioned mucus till it was time for me to come home, which the vet said did not happen over night!!! Find another sitter save yourself the stress and mon

I 100% recommend Starr Pet Sitting!! I boarded my dog Coco for 9 nights and received daily text updates on her experience. Coco seemed to enjoy herself and took a liking to Lavina. I will definitely be using her services again!

Lavina is wonderful! She was available to care for my little Pekingese, Bert, who takes medication for seizures, with very little notice. She sent cute videos of Bert and gave detailed updates about the house (mail, packages, etc.). She is awesome! Very highly recommended.

I highly recommend Starr Pet Sitting LLC! I know that when my dogs are in Lavina’s care I don’t have to worry. I have three dogs and two were Corona babies which means they didn’t socialize much. I was apprehensive about leaving them at first because they had never been away from me, but since the first visit, my dogs are excited every time we arrive. Their tails are wagging and they can’t wait to get out of the car and go in. That brings me so much joy to know while I’m working, my babies are in good hands.

Our first pet sitting experience and we are so disappointed. When she met our puppy for our meet and greet she didn’t touch him, pick him up, or do anything to show us that she was a dog lover. That should have been our first red flag. She showed up 13 minutes late for our first ever drop-in visit and we paid for her to stay for 30 minutes and she stayed for 19 minutes. We have a pet camera and the second she walked in our door she turned the camera around so we couldn’t see anything (see her not play with teddy like she was supposed to). So upsetting and do not recommend. You can’t trust her.

Lavina is such a great dog sitter! She updates you with photos/videos every time she sees your pets and loves them like her own. She is very easy to work with and I would definitely use her again

Lavina came highly recommended and has not disappointed. We’ve used her on three separate occasions to check in on our cat during family vacations, and we will keep using her for every vacation in the future. I especially appreciate that she sends pictures or short videos with every visit. Her prices are reasonable and she is very responsive. If you’re looking for someone to take care of your pet, you can stop searching. Lavina is who you want.

When I tell you she is the Best around, I go out of town for work now every week or every other week , and its sometimes last minute.. and she is so sweet and understanding, I think we have been with lavina and her family for about 2 years now and I am never leaving lol..she's the only one that will deal with our shenanigans...lol plus Buddy love it over there ...the whole family is just Gold ..

Been coming to DITW for 3+ years now. Always greeted with a smile and you can tell the team genuinely loves being with the dogs. I have a pup who absolutely loves going to see all of her friends every time I drop her off. After trying a few places prior to this, I recommend DITW to everyone.

This has been my favorite dog daycare and boarding choice. The staff are very friendly and they greet my dog by name and most importantly, my dog loves it! He gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot and is always exhausted when we get home.

I left my 10-year old Bichon here for 4.5 days with a request to be boarded with the older dog group. He was returned to me with his tail between his legs and soaked in urine. I didn’t realize it until I got to the car but I already had a grooming appointment lined up that morning already so I rushed him over. The groomer teared up because it was so bad. Not sure what happened but if you leave your dog here you’re rolling the dice with their wellbeing. Strongly advise going elsewhere.

Our dog seems to really enjoy going to daycare. He comes home exhausted and doesn’t get nervous about being dropped off. This makes me comfortable and I believe he enjoys it. Most recently we boarded him and everything was easy and he was well taken care of. I love the pictures they post on Facebook and instagram!

Have had great experiences at Doggie in the Window for several years and running. We gladly take our dog here for boarding and day care and appreciate the kind staff who care for our dog. The facility is clean, includes indoor and outdoor access for playtime, and is very well run. I would highly recommend this facility to others!

My dog Finney loves going half a day and playing with others dogs. The staff is very cordial and accommodating. We've been a long time customer. Doggie in the window is run very efficiently.

Hazel Marie has been going to Doggie in the Window since she was 10 weeks old She turned 8 this past May. All I have to say we're going to doggie daycare and she is ready to go.

My appreciation has escalated since moving out of state, and no longer able to bring our dog here. Doggie In The Window is an amazing resource for your family pet. They treat your dog like family and all their customers with respect, warmth and kindness. Their facility is amazing. This is the best care available. I took my dog there for nine years on a regular basis.

Our pups love coming here! We bring them for both daycare and boarding and they are always excited when we pull into the parking lot and can’t wait to go in to play. I love that the dogs are out during the day and not stuck inside a kennel. Wendy, Lisa and all the staff are absolutely amazing, thanks for always taking the best care of Boz & Gia (and our deeply missed Riggs ❤️)

Slight edit to be more clear- I'd rather leave 1 alleged issue out cause I can't prove anything with any certainty & he is perfectly fine now. Plus I hope but also believe that it wasn't intentional. They did call once the following day & left a voice mail to ask how he was... I can say that they kept forcing me to deal with their shenanigans. I can say with 100% certainty that I never once thought I was paying for my dog to be caged. They never once brought it up. Never. I didn't even know it was an option for them to cage when we only were paying/bringing him in for "day care". But I guess my mini dachshund (weiner dog) was too much for them to handle & was caged MULTIPLE times during a few months period. Not for fighting or biting but for simply being a smaller dog. Every time he was caged they wouldn't tell me a thing until I would ask... Even after I asked nicely to stop doing that... Which they responded with ' No problem. I will put that in his notes.' . Which in hindsight is quite laughable. Every time we found out was because something seemed off in 1 way or another. Plus every time all they'd say was "He had fun today!" & so then I'd inquire about the cage. That's always when & how I'd find out... again & again & again & so on... Not to mention the times I hadn't thought to ask.

The Loyal Dog Club is outstanding … everyone on their team treats our girls like their own. I had never used a service like this before and cannot give them a strong enough recommendation. They take such sweet care, send fabulous updates and pics and always go above and beyond. Lucy and Daisy give them 5 stars!

We love Loyal Dog Club. I have two reactive rescues and the walkers are so patient and accommodating with them. My dogs look forward to their walks or let outs with the walkers that are assigned to them. The walkers are all prompt and reliable. The communication is great.

We have been using Loyal Dog Club since it was Royal Oak Dog Walkers :) In the beginning we worked away from the house & had them come out at least once a day for our new puppy Jax. Later, working from home, we adopted Grizzie too. We've had the walkers coming out at least twice a week for several years and they have been great with our anxious little guys. We are moving out of the area to be closer to family and I know the boys are going to miss seeing their walkers! They also took some of the bests candid shots of the boys *L* Thank you guys.

Our dogs love the walkers! LDC is great at communicating with pet owners about their pets but is also efficient with getting back via email/phone. We recently upgraded our weekly let out to include yard clean up and we are kicking ourselves for not upgrading sooner! LDC has helped my husband and I pursue our careers without stressing about our fur babies at home!

I have a dog who doesn’t like strangers and so I was worried about finding someone who would work with him. I called around and LDC recommended their employee Emily. When my dog first met her he knew immediately that he could trust her. Knowing there is someone I can call when I need them is invaluable as an anxious dog owner. Also she takes cute photos of my dogs. Highly recommend.

Seriously the best company! Loyal dog club has been letting out my dogs for the last year or so and I don’t know what I’d do without them. They have really built a great relationship with my dogs and are very thorough in their messages to me each day. Loyal Dog Club is the BEST! This was my first time leaving my dogs and I was nervous about it! Mason was so helpful with getting me set up with visits for my weeklong trip. While I was away, Mason, Katy, Madeline, Sara, and Jacob took my two fur babies under their wings and provided great care! Every visit they sent me a written log about how my dogs were doing along with the cutest pictures! The pictures proved how much my dogs loved their visits from Loyal Dog Club! I recommend Loyal Dog Club and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Best dog walking company out there! They make sure your home is safe and locked up. Keep up with your dogs dietary restrictions(snacks or not)! They also make sure if you have multiple dog that need separated and one crated like mine do, they do it! They take pictures and describe the walk they do and even include pictures! Amazing service! HIGHLY recommended! They treat your dogs as if they where your own! Even let you know if their poop is looking weird or anything. This is the service to use!! With loyal dog club you know your dog is in good hands! 10/10 highly recommend!

I was in a hurry to find a place for my Luv Bug to stay for a long while and I was convinced that I would be unable to get someone. I called a few locations in the past and there was always an issue. But this time I went with the friendly face I saw on the Dog Nanny’s page. Everything from the web cams for when I got lonely to the morning pics and backyard photos made me feel safe. I was worried he would have issues with other dogs but to see him sleep with another dog in his room and him enjoying the company shockingly surprised me and to know she had to be the one to make him feel so at ease with situation. The Detroit Dog Nanny is one of the best pet sitters around. Absolutely wonderful space for the animals. The Detroit Dog Nanny treats pets with respect and utmost care. I would recommend their services for your pet above the other Detroit pet sitters or boarding places. They took such care of my dog for 8 days and made me feel at ease leaving my dog there.

Just had a great first experience with Fetch this last week while on vacation. My dog walker, Barb, gave super updates and pics that reflected she was really a great dog person who understood my dog. Email communication before and after was very professional. I will be a repeat customer for sure !!!

FETCH IS AMAZING. I've been using them for over 6 months and have had nothing but wonderful walkers/caretakers!! They provide so many options, all reasonably priced, including quick let outs, walks, all day daycare for those of us that work! And every walker that you are introduced to is local, super flexible, reliable, and so so caring. I know that I can fully trust any caretaker that fetch employs/refers to me! Weekend, weekday, morning or evening, FETCH has always found someone to help me out when I'm in a last minute bind. They always send an update, whether it's a quick text, photograph, etc. The current owners, Marie and Jack, are so so wonderful! Can’t recommend enough.

We just got a puppy and needed someone to watch him while we went on an extended weekend trip. Fetch Pet Care was just what we needed. Everyone was so nice and the home where our puppy stayed was clean and had a lovely yard. We were sent regular updates about our puppy including pictures. It made us feel so much better knowing that our puppy was well taken care of while we were away. We will definitely use Fetch Pet Care again and have already recommended them to friends and family. My mom also used Fetch for her dog and loved them as much as we did.

We have used Fetch Pet Care Royal Oak for 2 years and absolutely love their service. Talk about on time, all the time 5 days a week, they are wonderful. She is so reliable and accommodating with any request and the sudden emergency. We have been blessed with an amazing young staff member who the dogs love and so do we!

I have been cleaning turtles for a household twice a month for the last two years and I have personally witnessed in the last year, not one, not two, but three times this same household of pets getting forgotten about. Enough is enough!! The first time Fetch's dog walker forgot the midday and the dogs soiled the house (which they never do). I cleaned up the mess and contacted the owner of Fetch immediately. The second time I walked in to find the dog walker let the dogs out back, then left to do another pet sit. The third, and most recent episode I walked into; three very distress dogs, a whole lot of dog mess, and one very injured parakeet. The water dish for the dogs and the parakeet were almost empty. The parakeets hadn't been fed in what appeared to be days and someone left an overhead light on all day and night for them. Birds need darkness to sleep. That's most likely why one attacked the other, it was hungry and unable to sleep. The house was a mess!!! I arrived at 11am to find no one had been there all morning. The mail and about six newspapers were piled on the front porch, there was a lot of dog feces in the kitchen garbage and on the floor along with urine. There were valuable household items scattered about on the floor and the dogs were very sad. This is all because of neglect from careless pet sitters! I am completely irritated by this situation and want to make people aware that this could be your home while you are away. I hear horror stories all the time. It's extremely important to ask questions when hiring anyone to care for your home, whether a neighbor, friend or a company. I contacted the owner of the home and expressed my concern. In addition to taking pictures, I brought my partner and sister over to help out and they both witnessed the whole situation and were both disappointed at the lack of care and the condition of the home. - - My review has absolutely nothing to do with competition. I find it ironic that three 5 star reviews showed up the same day I posted this. I do not doubt that Fetch of Royal Oak has offered many clients with good service and will continue to do so. I wrote this review because this situation brought tears to my eyes and I felt I needed to share it.

The people of Woodward Pet sitting have been coming twice a day to let my puppy out since he was 7 weeks old. They are professional and compassionate. The owner and the person who would be coming everyday came to meet Gimli at his first appt and we discussed my needs and wants for him. The SAME person comes everyday and she also sends me picture updates which makes me feel so good. I never worry about any of my stuff being stolen and I have no anxiety about his care.
