Lisa, first, I am very sorry for taking longer than I said to write this review (1 week and I went a little over...my apologies!), but it was very busy when I returned. Now for my review: I booked Lisa from my gut reaction to her first email and then subsequent ones. She did not have any reviews at the time, but after reading SO many profiles and holding out for that "one special one", I was glad I did hold out. Lisa is a hidden gem in zeewoi, because while experienced with animals, she was just starting out on here when she applied to keep my little Molly while I was away in Antarctica. Lisa was amazing. Her communication was timely and very thorough. It was evident that she and my dog bonded very fast. Due to COVID and the Antarctica cruise I was on, there were a lot of hurdles (covid testing) to pass to even get on the ship. This put a lot of uncertainty toward this trip on the front ends and back ends of it. However, Lisa strived to accommodate the uncertainties, if they came to pass. Luckily, it all went perfectly and we had the time of our lives. I could not have taken this trip without the assurance she gave me. There wasn't a lot of communication during our trip b/c, well...we were at the bottom of the Earth! However, when I returned, I did find detailed updates on Molly, along with some photos. Molly got so many walks and I do feel that Molly was even a bit sad after the newness of me coming back home wore off. It was as if she was still waiting to see if Lisa walked through the front door a few times. I am very thankful to have met Lisa, and if she has applied for your sit, give her a chance, even if she still doesn't have the most reviews like some profiles have after a few years. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I knew to trust my gut with her. Lisa, if you ever want to return to Nashville, just let me know and I'll try to be out of town again! ;) haha. I also talked to Mitch about getting a future THSitter for him, as well.....where both our dogs would stay together at HIS house. Believe me...you would LOVE his house on the lake. It's incredible! :) You'll be the first I contact for our next travels, if you think you ever want to return here....but who knows when that might be, given these stinkin' gas prices now, right? Well, all the best to you! Thank you for a wonderful sit. I hope you get all sits that you hope for in the future!

Lovely immaculate home in a quiet suburban neighborhood. Very easy pets to work with. Twilight is a happy dog and Patches is a shy kitty. Great communication and detailed instructions about the house and the pet routine.

Jessica
Good communication with Jessica before and throughout out my stay. Jessica's lovely comfortable house is located within easy reach of Bury St Edmunds, and a couple of National Trust properties. The only negative was that three days with these lovely pusscats was too short: they were just beginning to get to know me, and me them. But it was still a really enjoyable few days. Thank you, Jessica, for making me so welcome.
I'd definitely recommend this as a cat sit.

Michael was a great guy to be in touch with over the week while I was looking after his house. Artemis is an absolute gem of a cat with all these leg strokes he loved. The guinea pigs were a pleasure to look after too.

The home is beautiful, and the dogs, Dasha and Binky are lovely! The ducks are very personable little souls.

I enjoyed this sit, however, my experience was extremely dampened by having the hosts daughter arrive to the home while I was still on sit, and was not agreed to prior. This left me in a tricky position as i had inevitably arranged departure travel from their home with no where else to stay before leaving. There was a significant feel of micro management and supervision from this, which does not cultivate the trusting and honest relationship that THS strives for.

Also worth noting is that the hosts son lives in the home full time. On initial phone call I was lead to believe it was an entire different part of the house (words from host) but on arrival I was sharing a bedroom wall and bathroom. This is not a problem, but I felt misled. THS policy does not allow other persons in the home during a sit, however I accommodated this based on the impression I was given.

I would not complete this sit again based on the inability to feel trusted or frankly, respected.

Best wishes

Charly
Charly and Ben, and their adorable little boys, are such a joy! They were so warm and welcoming, and I immediately felt at home in their cozy house. Communication was great from start to finish and I felt very prepared and at ease with their sweet pups and home.
Hettie and Belle are so much fun! They are the sweetest, cuddliest girls. Very well behaved and calm dogs that love a good walk/run around. There are several walking trails and paths in the area that are perfect for taking Hettie and Belle for walks and the town has everything you could need for a comfortable stay without a car.
Highly recommend this sit and am looking forward to going back to spend more time with these adorable girls next week!

Having sat for Deborah on more than one occasion we can highly recommend the sit. The accommodation is comfortable, the location is great and Freddie and Flora were a joy to look after. As they are collie crosses they are very lively. Fresh eggs most days are also a bonus.
