I had an enjoyable week with Mocea. He is such an adorable dog with an endless desire to cuddle! Having his company every day was an absolute pleasure. He’s a calm, well-trained dog and his smile never seems to fade. I thoroughly enjoyed our walks together. He’s great with other people and dogs. Truly, he’s the perfect dog to live with. Ioana's apartment is top-notch, both in quality and location. The place is spacious and well-equipped, with a dishwasher, coffee machine, high-speed Wi-Fi and even a projector for watching films or football games. The area is surrounded by parks, shops, big market where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs etc and a lovely café just down the street. Comfort here is truly at the highest level! Ioana gave me a warm welcome, providing everyday essentials for which I am very grateful. She is a friendly and pleasant person, and it was a pleasure to talk to her. We had daily conversations, and I regularly sent her photos of Mocea and asked her about household matters. She also prepared fresh towels and bed sheets for me :) This was my first sit on TH and this duo made it the best experience I could have hoped for. I’m very thankful for Ioana’s support and the opportunity to spend the week with Mocea. It was hard to say goodbye, and I hope to sit for him again soon! Konrad
Julia provided clear instructions on how to care for Kody Kiddy and also made time to give us an in-person orientation. We really felt set up for a successful stay with Kody Kiddy given Julia's preparation. Kody Kiddy was a bit shy upon arrival, but we became fast friends. We were enjoying High 5s, cuddles, and belly rubs shortly after our arrival. We really felt he was the perfect cat. He's a great companion and also enjoys his alone time napping in the window, playing with his toys or scratching his pad. We highly recommend caring for Kody Kiddy. Julia will ensure you are well-prepared. Her home in Alexandria, VA is safe and clean. Julia was so generous and kind. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I had a really great time with Haty, the beautiful black cat, very easy to look after and great company. Cathy and Jon are very friendly and welcoming. They gave me clear informations on everything in the house which is very pleasant to live and very close to the center of Cambridge. I arrived the day before in order to meet them and we had a nice evening. I also had a bicycle to discover the beautiful countryside around Cambridge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommand sitting Haty. Thank you again for everything !
Nancy and Eric have a beautiful home in the charming suburb of Terra Linda. Their two kittens, Archie and Alfie made the stay very fun and playful. Communication was easy and the cats are a joy! One of my best housesits yet!
I had a great time housesitting for Ewelina and Julio and watching out for Pancake. Pancake is really sweet & cuddly and well-behaved and generally easy to take care of. Unfortunately she had a bladder-infection whilst i was staying there, but Ewelina and Julio explained to me what to do, how to treat her etc. And luckily Pancake was a good sport and did not give any major resistance to the treatment and was happy when I made up for it with another brushing session. On top of that the neighbours in the house also provided major help, so at no point did i feel like the situation was too much. And all the basics Ewelina and Julio had explained to me beforehand anyway, plus they provided a great welcome guide. The appartment is really spacious and comfortable and in a quiet street, just a 15 minute bus ride from the city center away and very close to supermarkets, a park, some restaurants etc. Highly recommend taking the chance to spend time with Pancake!
Sitting Janie's place has been a great experience. Be prepared to meet 2 of the most funny and cute dogs around. They're really special, so is the location of Janie's Condo. Right on the beach with great views on the Monterey Bay. We've seen dolphins and whales (with binoculars, but still..) from the living room! Janie was so kind to let us use her cars, which was a big threat, took us out for diner, and has been a great host inviting us a few days before and letting us stay a day more for our convenience. We hope to meet Janie and the boys again some day and highly recommend sitters to apply when you can. Thanks Janie!
