Jorgen & I came home to our home after 4.5 weeks of travelling & cruising in Europe & our house was just as we'd left it. Clean, tidy & cared for even down to outside swept and not a leaf or debris to be seen on our outside entertaining area. More importantly Rufus was happy and not at all affected by us being away. He has just slipped back into his normal routine. They were diligent about walking him and taking him to the dog park for his daily outings. Dawn stayed in our home for a fortnight to look after our elderly Cavoodle. Dawn was a very caring and respectful house sitter. She listened carefully when we explained how to care for our senior cavoodle particularly on administering his medication. Dawn's communication skills were good and we welcomed the updates she gave us about Monty's health and wellbeing - even sent us a few photos which was much appreciated. She texted us if she needed clarification on anything which was great. Our house was left clean and tidy and most importantly , Monty was well looked after and loved. I cannot speak more highly of Sonja who recently spent 2 weeks in our home caring for our 2 kitties. Sonja was truly one of the best pet/house sitters we have had (and we have had amazing experiences with almost 15 different sitters on this site!) She was extremely attentive, responsible, and communicative from the start. She was available for a phone conversation before our vacation, sent communication throughout the time we were gone, and most importantly, took incredible care of our cats and home. The cats were clearly well attended to. And I was so pleased to come back to a home that was sparkling clean. Sonja truly went out of her way to treat our space and animals with the utmost care. I highly recommend Sonja and would be delighted to have her back anytime!

Pam and Mike are lovely, interesting people.  Excellent hosts, friendly and welcoming.  They treated us to a meal at their favourite italian, which was much appreciated. We had a great evening with them. 

The 3 tzus are adorable. All very different characters, but all well-behaved and a joy to look after.  As they are all senior pooches, they take long naps during the day.... giving us time to tidy Pams gardens / driveway -  (thank you for our evening out) and explore locally.

Pam and Mike's home is a great location for exploring Ripon and surrounding villages. 

We enjoyed our time there very much.
