We had a great experience with Monique. She went above and beyond to take great care of Cosmo, our plants and our house in general, leaving it sparkling clean after she left. She also was very communicative and responsive while we were gone. Having her in our home took away many of the worries I usually have when I'm not home (are the plants well watered, is the trash can being picked up, is Cosmo getting enough walks, etc). We would have her back in our house any time!

Alice & Kirk

Aside from the pets being well taken care of, and the house being perfectly spotless when we came home, Alice and Kirk were flexible and highly communicative. They even rolled with the punches when after boarding our flight that morning and before they arrived, our dog decided to break out of the back fence for the first time in years and ran to a neighbor! Not the way we wanted their stay to start, but they handled it extremely well. They were kind enough to let us know about a broken doorhandle on the of the bedrooms we never use so that we can get that fixed for the next time someone stays. We would most definitely welcome them back again.

Darsie was the best! Very communicative and was great with our pups. The house was left clean, the girls happy, and I would recommend her to anyone! She’s welcome back anytime!

Jessica was an excellent sitter for my dogs, and treated them like they were her own. She was very friendly, prompt, and reliable. My dogs and my house were well cared for. Sam kept in contact with us and sent pics occasionally. However, the thing that was unacceptable was how little he cleaned the litter box. When we arrived home, my husband checked the litter box as we always do. We have two cats, so it is important that the box is scooped twice a day. This is in my welcome guide. When my husband pulled the litter box out of its holding place, the box was very full of litter, feces, and large clumps of urine. It looked as if the box hadn't been cleaned in days. I immediately messaged Sam and told him that this was unacceptable and we would not have him stay again. (He had asked for another opportunity to stay.) His response was that he scooped the feces once a day and did not realize he was supposed to scoop the whole box. Wow! That response is very disingenuous. It was not worth a response. I would not recommend him if you have cats.

SUPER STAR SITTER! You won't find any better!! Wow. She was about 20 minutes from me a week before the sit and she came in person to meet me and the cats. That was very nice. Then during the sit she did a fabulous job. All was fine. When I came home, tired, headachy and super hungry, she made me DINNER and had it in the fridge. And homemade bread. And 6 vases of flowers she arranged from the gardens. The floors were all vacuumed. The countertops were clean. Towels, sheets all washed and folded. Dishwasher done. Her bedroom, spotless. I'm delighted. I couldn't believe it. Everything was perfect and I could not have asked for a better sitter truly! I'll have her again in a second! I'm so grateful to have found Liat.

Beth and James were lovely sitters and we came home to a very relaxed and happy cat who had clearly been well looked after and entertained ! This was a short three night sit and I was a little concerned about finding someone; Beth responded very quickly and I couldn’t be more pleased. She has kept in regular contact throughout and provided me with photos and updates as to Tiggy’s progress whilst we were away ! Perfect ! Thank you so much !

Carolina was amazing, especially considering my dog required an emergency vet visit. She took great care of Homer, put his needs first, and communicated well throughout. The situation wasn't ideal for Carolina but she did an amazing job. Highly recommend!

Rieman & Karin

We cannot say enough good things about Rieman and Karin. What incredible guests they were -- so conscientious about our home, tidy beyond any expectation, and so thoughtful about every little thing. Whether it was asking for permission to have family members over (of course!), taking our youngest dog on seemingly never-ending hikes, ensuring to give our 13-year-old pup medicine twice a day, or sending us daily pictures of the house and dogs, Rieman and Karin absolutely KNOCKED IT out of the park. The only drawback to having Rieman and Karin here for 2 weeks while we traveled is that our dogs now seem to be in a depressive funk, since their most favorite people left. If you're considering Rieman and Karin for a sit, you should have absolute confidence in them. Please send me a note directly if I can provide any further praise (which they fully merit).

This sitting was wonderful, I highly recommend it. Ninette and Andrew were the best hosts, always super friendly, they maintained very good communication and provided me with all the information I needed in a very detailed and orderly manner. Minou is a sweetheart, to be honest it was hard for me to leave her, she is the best cuddle buddy, extremely smart and very well behaved,  I really enjoyed my time with her. . . I felt very comfortable all the time, their place is really nice and cozy.

We had a wonderful first housesit at Carrie’s place in south Boston! First, Durango is a big moosh—100lbs of love. He does get anxious when left, but seemed to do ok when we were out (about 5-6hrs most days). He liked sleeping in bed with us, and he is a bed hog(!), but when I brought his doggie bed into the bedroom he was happy to sleep there too. We got into a routine where he would get up (6ish?), go for a short walk, then maybe back to bed and the breakfast, and then a good 1-2mile walk/run (he loves this). We did a few more walks throughout the day, but he’s mostly content to sack out on the couch! The condo is beautiful and in a PERFECT location—you can actually reach Boston common by foot in about half an hour, but the red line stop is right close by. And the area is full of fun coffee shops, restaurants, and a nice walking/running path along the water. I’m so happy to have met Durango and his family! We had a great time in Boston!

Milly

Milly and Brenda were so lovely and welcoming when we arrived to their lovely home in the beautiful Wye Valley. We felt right at home.  The house is in a fabulous little village with a pub just down the road. The village is surrounded by fantastic walking tracks one of which takes you to Tintern and the amazing Abbey. The home is warm and comfortable with everything we needed. The cat is very sweet and easy to care for and we LOVED the tortoises.  The wildlife around the home made it even more special for us! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and Millie and Brenda even welcomed us to stay an extra night after their return which really helped us out. We highly recommend this sit and look forward to returning for another month later in the year.

My time with Nako at Josie's place was great. Nako is such a sweet and friendly dog. He accepted me right away and both of us enjoyed daily walks along the Mississippi River. The home is in a very walkable area with nearby access to lots of restaurants, venues, etc. Thanks for having me!

Lesley was so welcoming and made us feel very much at home. She has a beautiful home in a great location with lots of really good walks, coffee shops, and dining options closeby. Her home was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and we really appreciated the welcome dinner we received.
Gus was a pleasure to look after. He was very easy to walk and was always happy to relax on the couch when he was home.
