Sue and Tim have a wonderful home and gorgeous pets. All of the animals are incredibly easy to care for, and great company. Tula and Boris aren’t up for much outside time, but they love a cuddle. Particularly a tummy rub! Bertie and Rumo are stunning cats, and bigger in size than the dogs. Bertie came to us for cuddles on his own terms, but Rumo was more unsure. The home is so harmonious, we often found Bertie (the cat) cuddling up or cleaning Boris (the dog)! We had the pleasure of having a beautiful home-cooked meal with Sue and Tim the evening before we sat where they went through all the instructions for while they were away. They are incredibly interesting and lovely people. We feel fortunate to have met them and hope we’ll get the opportunity to meet them again soon 😊
This was a great housesit – I would happily have stayed for much longer. Nancy is so well-behaved and easy to look after – and in return I received friendship and cuddles. Andrew went out of his way to pick me up and drop me off at my next housesit – I was so grateful. The house is warm, comfortable, well organized and really well looked after. There are 2 small shops and bus service to Truro, Porthowan, and maybe a few other spots. I wholeheartedly recommend housesitting for Louise and Andrew who are friendly and thoughtful.
This stay was great. Connie is a wonderful, well behaved, intelligent and also funny dog and I really enjoyed being a pet sitter for her. Jethro is a nice and easy going cat. Gerri and John were very welcoming, generous, friendly and conversational hosts and so the hospitality during the stay was very nice. The house is really lovely and was very comfortable to be in. In Navan, there's a long nature walk along the river Boyne starting at the town that goes on and on. It was impressive and unexpected to find in a town. It was a very nice time and I highly recommend this pet sitting experience to anyone, for spending time with such a great dog that Connie is (you'll leave with pictures+videos on your phone. Ha), while having the nice cat presence of Jethro, for the kind hospitality provided by Gerri and John, the pleasure of staying in the lovely accommodation and the chance to experience what Navan and surrounding areas have to offer, such as the Hill of Tara. Thank you very much Gerri and John.
Pinch me, this is too perfect! Ed and Katherine are lovely, warm people and have a stunning home right by the beach. They left crystal clear instructions and I felt very welcome. Milly may not be able to hear, but when I approached her gently with visuals or vibrations, pet her and brushed her with TLC, it was a guaranteed purr session. Funny Flowf took some convincing to come out of hiding (thanks, Dreamies!), though she did make a few appearances during my short stay and at times I found her hiding under my bed, so I'll consider that a win. :-) Sits like these are exactly why I am a member of the TrustedHousesitters community. We had a lovely time in Liverpool! Hunter and Lily great - I am used to larger dogs so everything they did was super cute and sweet! They quickly went from barking at us when we first arrived to friendly to snuggling up and sleeping in our bed. The house is very nice, with a large back yard with a patio table which we used every day. All in all a very fun sit!
I miss Starr and Luna already! Amanda was very accommodating. Even though we didn’t get to meet, we were in daily communication and I loved getting to send her photos of the babies. The house was clean for my arrival and the animals were so easy and wonderful to care for. Starr and I walked a couple times a day and watching her and Luna play was the best entertainment. Their home is right in town, making it a wonderful experience to walk and explore all over.
