Bob is an absolutely gorgeous cat to sit for! Totally easy and undemanding but also a cuddly delight. It was so lovely curling up on the sofa with him in the evening. The conveniently-located house is beautiful and Erin did everything she could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Her guest room with super luxe shower was like staying in a hotel and really made us feel spoiled! Plus the attention to detail in the welcome pack and the continual contact before and during the sit ensured we had all the information we could ever need. I really felt like I made new friends - both human and feline - and would sit again for Bob without hesitation. Thank you, Erin, Rich and Bob! X
I enjoyed Melanie's house sit very much. Melanie picked me up from the airport, provided a lovely meal and the hand over to care for her cats was great and in detail. Nice sit with a great kitty. Claude is a very affectionate cat that will give you many snuggle sessions a day! He jumped into my lap many times (working on a laptop will not exempt you from this) and slept with me on my last night. He expects you to feed him three times a day, and will remind you his first meal comes at 6 am. On top of this he gets fed automatically from his feeder, however, so you can plan to be out for long parts of the day. SueCarol and Peter are generous hosts. They have a classically furnished house in a diverse neighborhood. The area is walkable if you're adventurous, although the area to the south of Main Street can get sketchy. I walked to and from the sculpture garden anyway. After offering me the sit, they did ask me twice to cut my sit short, I believe to allow a relative to use the house. I agreed to this (and will not dock them stars, as I don't know the whole story) but it did affect my travel plans and forced me to find alternate accommodations for a couple nights. I got to see a lot of Chattanooga, but not all of it. It's an interesting place, though, and I'd like to be back.
My partner and I took care of the lovely Leo for a weekend. Leo is literally the best dog ever. He’s a great walker and a big cuddle bug. We got to meet Penny and Swany before the sit, they were so warm and welcoming. They gave us all the information we needed to know about the house and Leo. The location is wonderful too! Wishing we were staying in New Zealand to be around for another sit! 😊
Cheryl was a wonderful host and her home was lovely, situated in a great area. I enjoyed my time there and enjoyed spending time with Mabel, her elderly cat who was easy to care for and such a sweetie.
I had a wonderful experience housesitting for Megan and looking after Moloko. Megan is very generous and welcomed me with dinner which was greatly appreciated. It was lovely we got to meet and talk at the beginning of the housesit, and communication was excellent throughout my stay. Megan's apartment is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It is very well-equipped with everything you need. The journey into Istanbul city can take between 45-90 minutes depending on traffic but is very simple with one bus. The neighbourhood where the apartment is located is great with a big market close by. Moloko is the sweetest cat, I really enjoyed my time with her. She is so friendly and loves a cuddle, especially on her pink blanket. She is also very easy to care for! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this housesit. Thank you Megan :)
