I've used Happy Hounds twice a week for the last several months and had my Boomer stay with Holly for a week. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Very dependable & very loving! Never worry about a no-show or that my baby wouldn't be well cared for plus Boomer loves them! Highly recommend!!

I just moved to the Charlotte area and had to go out of town for a wedding. I contacted Happy Hounds regarding a meet and greet. From the first message, Holly was amazing. She was very prompt in responding and took the time to meet with us to see if home-style boarding would work. The online portal made it very easy to schedule, communicate and pay for the services. When I picked up my dog, he was very happy and I could tell he had the best time :) Huge peace of mind knowing that my dog is in great hands! All around a wonderful, stress-free experience. What an amazing discovery finding Happy Hounds has been! Such a relief to find an alternative to boarding and kennels. Happy Hounds is the best boarding option for me in the Charlotte area! I have been in-home boarding with Holly for several years. I could not recommend Happy Hounds highly enough. Your dogs are treated like family, and the communication is wonderful; I always am reassured and reminded that my senior dog is having fun and being an angel. I will be using them for dog walks in the future, too!

We had a wonderful experience with this service! We left our dog with Holly during a week-long trip out of town. He normally has some anxiety issues so boarding him was not an option for us. For the same price we were able to leave him with a passionate, caring dog lover in a home-like environment who treated him like family. We got lots of reassuring photos and updates while we were gone and Brownie was very happy! We will definitely use Happy Hounds again and again!

Happy Hounds is amazing! Happy Hounds is the first pet sitting we’ve used and they completely exceeded our expectations. One of our dogs is blind and Holly was super comfortable with her. When we came to pick our dogs up, they were happy to see us but not happy to leave! Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this service! We got an 8 week old puppy which we were completely unprepared for in regards to potty training and needing multiple walks per day. Needless to say when Monday morning came around I panicked. Holly was so accommodating on such short notice. She came over to meet my baby free of charge and was able to give me multiple options for us to choose from in order to best meet our needs. Our little one requires 2 and sometimes 3 walks per day, our schedule may very week to week and this has been no problem at all for a very reasonable price. Our puppy is always calm (as a puppy can be) and happy when we get home. Holly pays such great attention to our baby and has been great in reinforcing all of her training needs. I get wonderful text messages and pictures that help reassure me that she is doing well and she always looks so excited to be out with Holly. Happy Hounds is a caring attentive service for your pets needs and is extremely reliable and affordable .

Happy Hounds is the BEST. Holly cares for my dog 4 times a week while I am at work. This has been so helpful for me because not only does Holly walk her and let her out, she is also super flexible and caring. She can give my dog treats and chew toys that I only want her to have for half the day, leave her in or out of her crate, etc. Holly sends me a status update and picture every day, which I love getting! She's also really been there for us in a pinch when I unexpectedly need a last-minute walk and has even cleaned up puppy accidents a couple of times... My dog also home boarded with Holly over a long weekend. She was so well-cared for and it was so easy for me because Holly picked her up and dropped her off for me. The prices are also the cheapest I have seen in Charlotte. I didn't think I would be able to afford a dog walker but Happy Hounds has been tremendously valuable to me (and cheap)!

I've used a few different pet-sitting services over the years and Happy Hounds is by far the best! Holly is amazing. Not only does she take excellent care of my dog, but she's respectful of my home as well. She brings in the mail and trash bins; knows how to work my alarm system; will turn lights on and off and will even spend the night when I have to go out of town for work. She is responsive to new sitting requests and always sends an update (and picture!) via text when she's at my house. Best of all, she loves what she does and it shows! Her human clients and her pet clients love her equally as well!

This place is horrible! Dogs out in heat it was 80 degrees and dogs outside with no air-conditioning. Lots of poeple around and pestering and bothering the dogs. All the dogs looked very sad and hot.

Alisha has taken wonderful care of our senior cats since they were babies. She is a true animal whisperer and spends quality time making sure they feel loved. Highest recommendation!

Alisha has cared for my pups for over 5 years. She has been an absolute saint for us. Even though we only lived on a 1/10 of an acre lot, she has managed to wrangle a snake, rescue baby bunnies, save a baby birds nest all while tending to my pup's needs. While our new home was under construction, we had a lot of last minute requests where we needed help with short potty breaks on the weekends. Alisha stepped up to the task, with no question. She has been the best dog walker we could ask for and we are so dearly going to miss her once we move. I have never had trust issues with Alisha, and she even sends a progress report daily so that I know she has been to the house. She leaves me an invoice once her pay period is up. She is very professional and we are so lucky to have had her with us for so long. You will not be disappointed!

Anyone who needs a super friendly, reliable, incredibly kind pet sitter should check into Alisha's business. I have utilized Alisha since I moved to Charlotte in 2012. She came highly recommended from a friend, and I can absolutely see why. When I travel, Alisha spends an hour with my cat Chaka for some much needed 1 on 1 time. He's very cuddly and needs as much attention as possible, and I know she takes care of him like one of her own - which is saying a lot. Alisha is a true animal lover. I get pictures texted or emailed to me with updates, and I love seeing the treats she brings over for him. There's no one else I'd trust more than Alisha to watch Chaka!

I can’t recommend this dog Hakuna Matata enough! When we first started, my dog (Mimi) was very shy and hesitant around both the trainers and other dogs. But thanks to their patience and expertise, my pup quickly started to come out of their shell. Michael, in particular, is absolutely wonderful. You can tell he truly loves his job and pours his heart into working with the dogs. His calm, caring demeanor made all the difference in helping my dog feel comfortable and confident. The progress we've made is incredible, and I’m so grateful to the entire team for their dedication. I love this company! We brought our 7 year old Goldendoodle and our fresh 4 month old Bernedoodle to Hakuna Matata for board and train 2 weeks and the customer service and kindness exceeded our expectations! The whole staff are SO loving towards the animals and each of them really do an awesome hands on job! Not to mention the amount of content I got of my pups showing me what they were working on and their improvements was reassuring and heartwarming. We had an amazing experience with Hakuna Matata Dog Training! We worked with Mike, who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with our dog, Brew. He made sure to work at Brew's pace, which really helped build trust and confidence throughout the process. From the get-go, Hakuna Matata’s dog training customer service has been amazing. Their knowledge and passion for working with dogs is evident from the start. Our dog, Milo, is a high-energy pup who was struggling with leash pulling and had began to “herd” and lunge towards cars on our walks. After training with Mike, we noticed a huge improvement. We appreciate their personalized approach to understand Milo’s training needs and temperaments. Not only did trainer Mike work with Milo, but also he equipped us with the right tools and knowledge to continue Milo’s training at home. Our pup is still too smart for his own good sometimes, but we now have a better understanding of his behavior and how to approach it in an effective way. We might be biased, but Mike and Joselyn and their team at Hakuna Matata dog training are the best of the best!

Hakuna Matata is AMAZING! We have a four year old doodle that had picked up some bad manners and the leash pulling (she was walking us) and leash aggression were two of our biggest concerns. After a great intro call, we sent her there for two weeks of training. During those two weeks, both Mike and Joselyn were fantastic about sending us updates and we couldn’t believe the progress our girl was making. Upon completion, Mike came and spent five hours working with us on everything Luna had learned and how we could continue working with her. I could have cried when we went out and were able to pass other dogs without Luna barking and pulling. We continue to send Luna weekly for doggie day care and she gets SO excited when we turn onto their street. We also just boarded with them for the first time and it is so nice to know Luna is at a place she loves so much and is well taken care of. We would and do recommend Hakuna Matata to anyone who is thinking about training. It has made our lives, and lunas, so much better especially since we have been able to take her more places :)

There are not enough incredible things I can say…we LOVE everyone at Hakuna Matata! Our now 1 year old male golden retriever, Harvey, did the 2 week board and train program back in March when he was about 9 months old. Harvey is so strong and easily distracted…this made simple walks and off leash opportunities very stressful for us. He would pull us down the road and was regularly distracted by anything and everything outside. As with all puppies, his energy was very hard to manage sometimes and he was constantly overstimulated. We did basic commands with him at home, but were out of our scope when it came to all of his other behaviors. We heard about Hakuna Matata from a work friend and began our research. Harvey is like our son and we love him so much, so there was no chance we were going to just trust anyone with him. We were so impressed with Joselyn and Mike during our phone consultation - their knowledge and passion for what they do is so evident and after just one call, I knew they would care for him well. During his board and train program, we got numerous updates throughout the day along with photos and videos to show his progress. Joselyn and Mike were both so responsive and answered all of our questions and concerns. When Mike brought him back to our house at the end of the program, he spent very intentional time with us walking through what Harvey had learned and how we, as his people, can best support and reinforce his training. Harvey was a completely different dog, in the best way. It has completely changed our relationship with him, but he absolutely still kept his silly and goofy side. (I was always a little weary that he would become a robot dog, but that was not AT ALL the case.) Mike and Joselyn are open to texts when we’ve had questions on how to redirect a specific behavior. Harvey now boards there when we go out of town and gets lots of love, play time, and reinforcement! Harvey is our whole world and there is no one we trust more than Hakuna Matata. We truly cannot recommend them more.

We heard about this amazing training team from friends and we’re not disappointed! They took our Corgi for two weeks and sent us updates on how he was doing daily. Once he was ready to come home, they brought him back to us and talked us through the methods, how to use the e-collar and even helped us perform our first walk with him. They are always available for questions and our dog loves going back for boarding. Worth every penny!

Words cannot express how happy we are with our big boy’s training and growth at Hakuna Matata Dog Care & Training, LLC! From the time we dropped him off we felt at peace, even though our hearts broke for leaving him for a two week overnight training. Michael and his entire training staff posted and sent daily videos/pictures of Lee’s progress. He also welcomed any questions we had and was quick with responses, suggestions, etc. On Lee’s graduation day, Michael spent several hours at our home going over EVERYTHING in detail and example and even worked with our other 2 dogs to help with transition. This is a lifetime commitment and consistency is a must but we are so grateful to Hakuna Matata for establishing the foundation for Lee’s success!! FIVE STARS don’t seem enough🥰🐶🐾❤️

We were so lucky to have been recommended to Mike, Joslyn and their wonderful team by the foster mom of one of our little rescues. We are fairly new to Charlotte and this is our first time as parents to canine fur-babies. We were super nervous about leaving them for the first time but Mike and Joslyns love for dogs was so evident from the first meeting. They advised we stagger the dogs over the 2 week program with one going in a week before the other so we would not be overwhelmed when they returned and we needed to continue to reinforce the 1:1 training. Mike came over this morning with fur monster 1 and spent 5 hours with us going over all the training. Our rescues are very young and one is particularly excitable and was very overwhelming handling her particularly on a leash. The progress after a mere 2 weeks is amazing. Hakuna is giving us the skills and confidence to continue with her (their) progress and we feel so lucky to have them as a local resource as we continue our training journey. Can't recommend enough.

I love sending my dog to Heads or Tails! He’s always very shy and doesn’t warm up to people easily and within minutes he always is comfortable and happy to be there. Laura has the magic touch and makes me feel at ease leaving Douglas with her. She’s always sending updates and pictures. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone who needs someone to watch their dog!

Laura is seriously the best! Our doodle Coco loves going to her house! It’s so nice to have someone reliable and trustworthy to watch our fur baby. Laura and her dog family are amazing! She truly loves dogs and it shows through her care of not only her own dogs but also those she is around. Rugger (4 year old male doberman) LOVES his stay at Laura’s. He comes home tired and happy. He starts wagging his little tail as we round the corner to her place as he knows he’s about to have a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend Heads or Tails Pet Care to anyone looking for someone to love their pet like their own while they are away.

We absolutely love leaving our pup with Laura! We got Brooks last winter and had been so worried about leaving him when we traveled. But luckily we found Laura! She let us come by to meet her dogs and showed us where Brooks would be staying beforehand I felt totally comfortable leaving him in her care for our week vacation. She sent plenty of pics and videos everyday and let us know how he was doing. We leave Brooks with Laura whenever we travel and she has even offered to watch him for an extended stay for our upcoming wedding/honeymoon and we know he'll be in great hands!

Our pup Ralph loves going to stay with Laura and the other doggos! She always sends pictures and videos to keep me updated on how he is doing and treats Ralph as if he was her own. I love knowing that he is so well taken care of when he is with Laura. He is always exhausted when he comes home because of all the fun he has! So happy we found Laura!

Laura is so good with our pups! I never have to worry when they are with her! My pups love playing in her yard and always come home exhausted in the best way! She sends me updates multiple times a day, and is flexible for pick up and drop off!

My two pups Bandit and Dorian stayed with Laura for a few days this month, and I am so thankful I found her! She was wonderful and very communicative, sent photos daily and was available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Really glad to have someone I trust for the boys when I have to leave town :)

Laura always treats our dog Drako as her own. It gives us so much comfort knowing he’s in her care and feels at home. Not to mention her knowledge and confidence with dogs and caring for them allowed us to enjoy our vacation with minimal stress or worry. Leaving your pet with Laura is leaving your pet with a friend. Something you can’t get at a regular boarding facility.

Laura has been a lifesaver when it comes to dog sitting. My boy would stay with her when I worked (long shifts) and she would always send pictures/ updates. Archie was always so excited to go over Laura's and always came home tired out. I'm sad to be moving and can only hope to find a sitter as wonderful as Laura.

Their prices are fair and reasonable compared to their competitors and the services did not disappoint. Sarah stayed with our 3 pups in my home while we were on a 7-night cruise. I was very nervous since this is the longest any of has have left our furbabies with someone who wasn’t family. However, Sarah was extremely professional and gave us a huge sense of security and relief knowing they were safe in my home taken care of and treated like family. She sent timely updates and photos (and snuggled in bed) with every visit and kept me in the loop the entire vacation! I cannot thank Sarah and Queen City PS for their services. The management is professional and prompt to get back to you if a question or concern arises. The sitters that we have had have been wonderful with our 4 legged baby. We’ve used Queen City Pet Sitting 2-3 times now and would highly recommend them for anyone in the area. Our pet sitters came to meet us, get the layout of the house, introduce themselves to the pets (5 cats, some more skittish than others), and set up the schedule with us. Each pet sitter was diligent in letting us know when they stopped by the house and sent pictures of the pets (have added some of those to this review). We’ve had great experiences with them and will continue to use them when we have trips out of town! Stacey, the owner, and the staff are very communicative, friendly, and quick to answer questions whenever asked!

We were really happy with the care that Dennis took over our two cats while we were away. He visited us beforehand to learn the routine and meet them, and then communicated really thoroughly with us about each visit, including photos. That really set our minds at ease that the cats were being well looked after. We'd highly recommend him and Queen City Pet Sitting.

I have been using QCPS for about 2 months now and they have been there for me during 3 separate trips over that time period. I cannot say enough good things about this service. Stacey (owner) is absolutely fantastic and goes above and beyond for her clients. My dog, Whiskey (pictured), is a bit of a "special needs" case as he does not get along well with other pups. Additionally, I happen to live in a high-rise filled with other pups. So, getting him in and out safely can be a challenge. I have now had three visits without incident. The team (Casey and James) that have looked after Whiskey have taken the time to get to know him, understand his routine and ensure that my travel has not come at the expense of my best friend, Mr. Whiskers. In my most recent business trip, we were almost unable to find anyone to watch him and I was facing the possibility of driving 9.5 hours each way to and from Florida for a video shoot. Stacey came through in the last minute, offering up her office manager as a solution. Her words, "I put myself in your shoes and I just couldn't do that to you." These people are incredible, reasonably priced, care about you & your fuzzy buddies personally and I am just so very thankful I found them!

My family had a long trip planned, at the last minute I realized I needed pet care, my usual sitter wasn’t available. One of my neighbors uses someone from Queen City and loves them. So I reached out, the owner Stacey immediately called me, she hooked me up with the best pet sitter ever! Sharon took such good care of my babies, went above and beyond doing things that needed done like bringing in packages. I was nervous at first because I didn’t know her, but Stacey reassured me she’d been thoroughly background checked with lots of glowing references. She lived up to all the praise!! It’s so nice to have someone like that to trust your fur babies and your home with when you leave town. I’m so grateful to Stacey and Sharon…they took care of me and my babies when I was in need!

We trusted Midwood Pet Sitting with the care of our two cats over the Christmas holiday. Rebecca and her team were phenomenal from the moment of first contact. She took the time to learn our house and the unique personalities of both our kitties several weeks before our reservation began. While they were sitting we got detailed daily updates, adorable photos, and even some celebratory videos when our shy cat finally emerged and began to play. The Midwood Pet Sitting team was very consistent in the time of day they visited (good for animals on a routine), loving and enthusiastic in their play and care with our furry guys, and incredibly responsive to us as clients whenever we had questions or updates. Rebecca has been taking care of our 3 fur pups for 4 years now! They range in age from 2 to 15 and she knows just what each one needs. We trust her to stay over with them when we are out of town and she has become part of our family! They fill his water, give him approved treats, take him on nice long walks, play with him, plus attention and love all for a minimum charge. It was such a relief to know my fur baby was in good hands and getting extra love during the long work days. I boarded my dog Koda here over the weekend and she had a blast!!!! She made lots of friends and seeing her so happy in the pictures made me feel loads better knowing she wasn’t sad and alone. They even gave her an exit bath when I picked her up which was such a nice surprise!!! She smelled great and it was nice to not have to do it after a long day of traveling. They are also super fair in pricing and we will 100% be back for any boarding, day care, training or grooming needs!

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have used Ashley and Abbie regularly for walking my dogs as well as check in on my kitties. They are wonderful to work with. Very dependable- they have never missed an appointment. I know they have a busy schedule but will do their best to fit you in for a last minute visit. Recently, I was home recovering from surgery and I got a chance to observe my pets when they Abbie or Ashley arrive to take them for a walk…. My dogs get so excited to see them. You can tell that they genuinely care about animals. Also, they take the best photos of my fur babies!!

The owners of Animal People Dog Boarding & Day Care (Aaron and Ashley Babaa) know what they are doing. Both are epic dog lovers and will care for your dog just as it were their own. This place WAS great and has been fantastic! I was going there for almost two years now. It's 45 min for me and has been well worth it! Both my dogs have come a long way and can't wait to see how much further they progress. 😊 However, the owner has abandoned this to move onto something else and it is under new management that has been a dissapoinment and changed what they have said so I will no longer be back there and will find something else. Therefore, I no longer suggest this facility.

Dog School Charlotte provides excellent training for pup and human! We are very pleased with our progress. We were having significant problems with our rescue. Dog School Charlotte folks are professional, courteous, extremely responsive and always on time! We are looking forward to continuing our advanced obedience & group training with them! Highly recommend!!

We love Animal People! Our pup is always excited to go and tuckered out when she gets home. If anyone is going to take care of our floof, they need to be animal people, just like us! Affordable care by folks that love our pup like just like we do!

Ashley and Aaron offer a warm and welcoming home away from home for your fur babies. The facility is kept clean and well organized and the dogs have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run and play. I love that they send pupdates to the owners to let them know how their fur baby is doing. I have complete confidence recommending them to anyone!

Simply the best! We can’t recommend Animal People enough. Our pup spent two weeks with their team, and she had the best time. We got regular updates and photos throughout her stay. It’s very evident everyone on the Animal People team truly care for each pet in their care.

My sweet boy, Baire, LOVES coming here! He is so excited that he jumps out the car 😂 I know that he is in great hands because of how he reacts when he gets dropped off. Everyone here is so nice and I can tell that they love what they do and take care of all the fur babies as if they were their own. I appreciate all the care and service given toward me and my dog. Petsuites is a great place for your dog. Daisy actually knew most of the people that work there. She would greet them when we walked in. Great place!!! I like how they will have “picture days”

They took great care of my puppies. The facility was very clean and the customer service was great.

For starters they are only getting 1 star because I had to put something so this would post. DON’T TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!!! Since being home both my dogs have had stomach aches. Not been able to do nothing but drink water no appetite whatsoever. This is very unusual I have an American Bull who is about 80lbs and I have a mix Siberian husky with a pit bull who is about 76lbs and both are acting the same. I signed up for playtime and bath with nail trimmings and although they states they had playtime none of the other stuff was done. I will never let my babies come here again!!!!

We have trusted PetSuites with our dog for the past 4 years for both boarding when we travel and grooming on a regular basis. Everytime we go, he gets excited to check in and it's always happy to see us when picking him up. We usually book the luxury townhome when boarding, so he gets a bigger room, TV, etc. We like to spoil him when he goes in for boarding. They always do a great job, save we will continue to return.

1st PetSuites experience was PetSuites - Greensboro. Phenomenal. Entire staff was friendly, I received a pawgress report & pictures of my Husky while he was housed every time we used the place. Staff sent updates via text during his stay, let me know how he was eating and doing with their food. Expected this one to be very similar, a completely different experience. This time I had 2 Huskies to board instead of one. Check in lady didn't seem to know that they were housing together. During their stay I never got the pawgress reports I was supposed to receive. Sent texts asking for updates, never got any replies. Called and no one answered. Then at pick up after listening to the guy in front of me get a detailed report & explanation of how his dog was all I got was a "as far as I know they were fine" when I asked how they were during the stay. The 2 stars are because they did honor their multi pet discount & the first night stay free for my younger Husky who had his 1st kennel stay. Every experience is different and my last experience at a different PetSuites location was better. Was not the same experience @ this place

PetSuites Wendover burned me twice, and I can't forgive or return. I've used multiple PetSuites locations without issue, but this one was new for both my dog and me. Two weeks in a row, I packed the exact same meal, in the exact same bag, but in different containers—and two weeks in a row, they failed to feed my dog his food. The first time, they saw the dry food and just... missed the wet food. Instead of checking the bag, they gave him some random wet food I didn't authorize—a brand he'd never even had before. And when I asked about it? They straight-up lied and said they fed him part of his meal in the morning and the rest in the afternoon. Fun fact: I didn’t even drop him off until 11:30 a.m., so I had already fed him that morning. Despite all that, I decided to give them another chance (bad call). Yesterday, I checked in with the manager, hoping they’d finally get it right. Nope. When I picked him up, the dry food was still in his bag. I specifically told her the food was separate, but she logged it as mixed together. And the “pro” who fed him didn’t even question why my dog was apparently eating two tablespoons of wet food for an entire meal. You’d think they'd be extra careful after screwing it up last week, but nope. The other manager, Blake lied too. Completely over this place.

My fiancé and I have been taking our one dog here for the past three years and recently started taking our other dog here a year ago and recently they didn’t feed our dog and they did nothing to make up for it. I got no phone calls. I got no apologies from a manager no emails, no kind of compensation for them starving my animal. I am very upset and I usually wouldn’t do this, but this is the only place that I trusted with my animals and now I have nowhere to take them. Thank God, it was for only one night because if they wouldn’t have fed my dog for multiple days, there’s no telling what would’ve have happened.

My pup had a nice stay here. Everyone is so nice and very responsive. They have a good loving team that care for your pups. I will definitely recommend this place.

I boarded my dog here for a few days, on the last day I unfortunately had car issues coming back into town and had to have my emergency contact pick up my dog. When my best friend called me to confirm she had picked up my dog and was headed to my house, she kinda joked she was not asked for her name or ID. The desk attendee simply handed over my dog with no regard to who was actually walking away with my pet. Despite the form when signing your pooch up for boarding asking who is allowed to retrieve your animal and the contact information. I know it’s a worst case scenario, but my dog is everything to me. There should be due diligence to make sure the dog is given to a safe person, anything less than that is unacceptable. I was also not notified of any upset stomach my dog had, and he had poop stains all over his behind. I paid for the pawgress report and called to check in, and it was never mentioned. I know it’s normal for a dog to get an upset stomach while boarding, but I did pay to be updated with that information. I had also called to ask about how his group play was going as they offered to test out his compatibility as I only signed him up for the more expensive one on one, they didn’t even know he had been going and I had to insist another front desk associate had him in group. The front desk associates were very kind when I went, I just feel like this location is a bit disorganized and I won’t be returning.

Sometimes you just luck out and happen to find the best pet sitters via a google search! Heather and Amber have been a God send since I moved to the area. They are caring, responsive, attentive. I couldn’t do life without them. My cat Oliver and I thank you! Know that what you do is a gift ❤️

I’ve used Pit Stop for several trips over the past few years and am always so thankful for their help. They care for our pets like their own, making our time away that much more relaxing. Pit Stop is the only service we trust leaving our dogs with. Jules and Beckett are incredible with our dogs, who are not always easy. Everyone who has watched our dogs has been highly experienced with caring for animals. The company as a whole does a wonderful job of communication during pet sitting stays. Cannot recommend high enough Pit Stop.

Heather is incredible! We have a dog and two cats and she takes such good care of them every time we are out of town! She sends us sweet photos of our babies when she visits and she makes sure they have everything they need. She even puts on music for the dog when there are fireworks or thunder. We highly recommend Pit Stop Pet Services for any pet care needs you have!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Heather and her team of PHENOMENAL experts are exactly what I was looking for here in CLT. We have 3 crazy animals and they love Heather and her crew. They keep the house looking nice and lived in, communicate effectively, send tons of photos and updates, I've had ZERO issues since booking with them and more importantly, my fur children LOVE the sitters. You can absolutely know that they are in the best care. I truly appreciate this wonderful little company because this is more than just a job, they treat pets like their own.

Pit Stop Pet Services is the best service for pets. We have used them regularly for a couple years now for in home sitting, pet boarding, dog walks and cat visits. Heather is always reliable and we never hesitate to use them. We know we can fully trust the health and care of our babies with their care. You book visits on a convenient app and get gps updates and always the cutest photos to brighten my day when I am not home. Excellent service!

Heather and the PIt Stop team have been trusted caretakers of our Beagle/Basset mix for the last 5 plus years. Heather is extremely responsive, professional, and the dogs she takes care of are all well tended to and given the love they need when their owners are at work or on vacation. It gives us a lot of comfort that she takes such close personal care of the pets she is watching over and we greatly prefer using her on longer trips vs. putting our dog into a kennel. Would recommend Pit Stop to anyone who wants their pets to have intimate care while they are away. She treats our dog like she was one of her own!

Pit Stop Pet is the best! My Pomeranian is a shy, skittish little guy who does not take well to new people. Heather took the time to get him to warm up to her and now she sends me videos of how excited he is when she comes in the door! She is the only person I trust to leave him with overnight too. She is great about giving updates and sending pictures so I always feel at ease knowing he’s with her. Heather and her team are great for quick walks, daily visits, and overnight sitting. Great services with reasonable prices!

If you have the chance to use Heather and her crew at Pit Stop Pet Services, do it!! I am a travel nurse who's been on assignment in the Charlotte area for the past 6 months. Heather and Jules have faithfully accommodated my schedule and NEVER missed a walk! They are extremely reliable and they even came out during a hurricaine while I worked my 12 hour shift! My dog always looks so happy in the picture updates they send. You can tell they really care about their clientele! They communicate any concerns and have even medicated my guy for me when I needed them to. I can't thank these guys enough and I definitely can't recommend them enough!!

Barker Lounge East Charlotte is the absolute BEST! We love them so much. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Dog Daycare. They are like family to us.

I love their updated portal where they send photos and updates on their daily meal times. My dog is low energy and chill so I'm glad that they group lower energy dogs together. Also love to follow their Instagram where they post doggy photos multiple times a day ♥️

Our doggie absolutely loves going to the Barker Lounge. He always leaves happy, well balanced, and very tired! When he spends the night he gets a report card. This is so helpful and thoughtful. I trust the staff with him and know he is being looked after and cared for in our absence. They are strategic in the placement of every dog to make sure that they have the best experience possible. We love the regular posts on Instagram especially when we have to leave him for an extended amount of time. The facilities are clean and well managed. As hard as he plays he never comes home spelling like a toilet like other places we’ve been. They do offer bathing and grooming services but we just take a bath when we get home. Prices are comparable and I would highly recommend as our first choice in a long line of other day care and boarding places!!

I was thrilled when this location opened up because my dog had stayed at the other Charlotte location but it just wasn't convenient to my house to use often. My dog LOVES The Barker Lounge and the East Charlotte staff give him all the attention and belly rubs he wants. More importantly, I trust the staff to take good care of him and make sure he stays safe and healthy while tiring him out with the other dogs, whether he's there for day camp or for overnight boarding. They take the best photos of him, too!

Phenomenal staff, easy online portal, and check in/check out experiences have been fast and easy. Barker Lounge has been very dependable for us. They are very good at communicating and will love your pups. There is the option for baths as well-- highly recommend doing this, we love picking up our dogs all fresh.

TBL-East is awesome! My girl, Skye has loved daycare and boarding since day one. She drags me in at checkout, and comes home tired from wrestling with pals and playing with staff. Because of a different job location I looked into another dog care, and Skye was NOT HAPPY! She wouldn’t come out to play with the other pups, and growled at staff members. I’m sure all were kind to Skye, but she definitely knew it was not The Barker Lounge. I highly recommend this place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Below is one of their photos of Skye! Crappy deposit policy. We made a reservation for boarding paid for 50% of the stay. Had a change in plans and cancelled 3 weeks in advance only to find out they were keeping the cash, not would not apply it as credit towards future stays. Makes us very hesitant to book with them in the future.

We have been taking our dog to Barker Lounge East for about 6 months now and I can’t say enough good things! As soon as we pull up our pup is sprinting to get inside , all the staff are so kind and treat your dog like family! Sully always comes home exhausted from playing all day which is a bonus! If you are looking for a safe and wonderful place all around to take your dog , look no further!

My fur baby has a special spirit and for a year Barker Liunge has shown him nothing but love! Maximus practically jumps out the window when we turn into the parking lot. When I took the tour, I was 1st impressed by the fact there was NO SMELL. Staff is great and calls me and Maximus by name everyday the door opens! The play exhaustion lasts about a day🤣!

Izzy took great and careful care of my elderly doggo while I was away. Great communication and professionalism. Highly recommended.
