Richard and Mary are super hosts. Excellent communication from the start, clear instructions and a booklet full of useful information at the house. Both extremely kind and very welcoming and we would not hesitate to go back. They house is clean, spacious and high tech with beautiful views towards the coast and close to very interesting places such as St Abb's head. There is a local Spar nearby and supermarkets within a 20 min drive. Kelpie is very well behaved, friendly and enjoys to play ball on the beach. She is very laid back and loves cuddles. She doesn't pull on the lead and let's you know when she is hungry or needs the toilet. We missed having her around when we got home. Highly recommend this listing.
Gaspard has such a lovely, gentle character. He loves just being around you and he was a total pleasure to look after. Andrea welcomed me with open arms and immediately made me feel very comfortable in her home which helped me look forward to my stay. I enjoyed playing the piano and watching films on her projector. The popular Green Lanes was very nearby with everything you'd need but you couldn't tell from the house as it was so quiet down her street. Loved the sit and would happily return again.
Sitting forJane and Steve felt like a lottery win for our summer vacation. Jane and Steve are super friendly and relaxed, easy in communication before, during (and after) the sit. We met them upon arrival and they introduced us to the pets and provided all explanations required before leaving. The center of everything were the two dogs, Sandy and Nico. We fell in love with them, they are the best dogs you can wish for. Well-educated and trained, relaxed and simply wonderful. Sandy is patient, good-natured and enjoying life to its fullest. He loves rolling on the forest floor and carrying around big sticks. He is immediately friendly and trusting. Nico is shyer and takes some time to trust you. But with patience, lots of cuddles and a few treats, she did not take very long to feel comfortable around us. She loves roaming in the forest, chasing this and that. Both dogs love cuddles (and food). They have a paradise dog life, as they can freely roam in the forests around the house and hardly ever need a leash (for crossing the small street). It is so great to be with them and share their life and joy. The cat Bertie and the chicken are also nice, very low maintanence and easy to take care of. The chicken provided delicious fresh eggs and we also had loads of fresh vegetables from the garden. We enjoyed staying at Jane's and Steve's place, an old stone house they have rehabilitated (and continue to do so) with lots of love and care, so it is a great place to stay. The house is in a tiny hamlet with a few very friendly neighbours. It is a very calm place with forest all around. We fell in love with the place and the entire region. There is a village only 2 km from the house for croissants and bread in the morning, a lemonade in the afternoon and a nice dinner at night. A bigger village 5 km from the house provides a small supermarket and more restaurants, cafes and a small market. This was only our third sit and it was again a great experience we enjoyed so much. We fully recommend this sit to other sitters and would love to come back ourselves another time. It is the right sit for people who enjoy dogs, walks and calm places in the middle of a unique unspoiled nature.
Viviane and Sandro are a really lovely couple. It’s impossible not to be swept up by their enthusiasm and zest for life - particularly their two cats Black and Sabbath. Two really distinct personalities who will keep you endlessly amused and engaged. The flat is compact and comfortable and has everything a sitter could need. The area is lively and full of fascinating small cafés, shops and bars. Paradoxically it’s located next to a park and is surprisingly quiet. The big stores close to Camberwell Green are just a few minutes by bus or bike or (if you’re like me and prefer to walk) 15-20 minutes. Viviane is clear and communicative. After a few minutes you feel as if you’ve known her for years:) Great sit!
Nancy & Derick are kind wonderful people with their loveable pup Delilah. They were very welcoming to me before and during my stay, and graciously agreed to let my nephew stay with me for a week to help look after Delilah during the sit. They have a beautiful home overlooking the ocean that is furnished with interesting artwork and artifacts from all over the world that reflects their extensive travels and volunteer work helping others internationally. They provided good communication throughout the time they were away in the UK along with a folder of detailed information regarding the house and their pup. Delilah is a young, energetic dog who loves to play with toys around the house and go for walks to the local park. She is good with listening to commands but had some anxiety when I would leave her at home to go out and sometimes chewed on things that she would get into around the house so needed to watch out for this. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Nancy and Derick and looking after Delilah, and would highly recommend this housesit to anyone.
It was such a pleasure taking care of Dora for Sheree and Mary Margaret. Dora is a formerly stray kitty who is learning to trust - and it was a delight to watch her and be her friend as she became more confident and communicative - and watching her learn how to play with her fake mouse- lol!. What a wonderful , funny cat!!! The house is a lovely sanctuary: peaceful and full of grace. Sheree and MM's extended experience with Okinawa shows in its beauty and simplicity. The kitchen is fabulous if you like to cook. The waterfall into the pool out back is almost hypnotic :) If you are someone who works at home , it is just perfect The neighbors really look out for each other and the various animals that live there, and I loved that. Re location, is an ideal combination of a quiet friendly neighborhood that is on a direct route into the downtown scene of Austin, as well. Despite our distance (they were in Okinawa) Sheree was prompt and effective in responding to any question s or concerns that came up. I soabsolutelyrecommend this special housesit.

We needed to have our dogs stay in daycare for the day. It was a very warm day, and one of our dogs is very shy. We can’t take him to places with a lot of noise or people. He felt right at home with sweet Randi. Randi took great care of our pups and sent us updates during the day. Randi’s services were very helpful and needed. I would recommend Randi to anyone.
Whether you're a local or just up for the weekend, Randi's Rascals is a great place to board your pooch when your day's itinerary or the hot asphalt calls for it. We took our German shepherd there for the first time in order to keep it off the scorching heat as we played tour guide for family. Randi's has plenty of space for the four-legged buddy to run around. Overall it is a good doggy approved environment and Randi really cares for furry friends. We'll definitely back.

Lauren is awesome, we are lucky we found her for our two dogs. She has been fantastic with both dogs especially our highly anxious one. She has watched them for the day and boarded them over night. They cant wait to get out of the car when we drop them off.
Lauren watched my dog (Bruno) for several weeks. She kept me updated with pictures and text messages on Bruno’s daily activities and overall wellbeing. Bruno looked fantastic when I picked him up, and I will not hesitate to have Lauren watch him again. She is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about the animals she takes care of.
I have been using Lauren for about 5 years and she is the BEST!! I just love her enthusiasm and joy that she gives to all her dogs. With two previous dogs they would spend the night and also just go to day care. With Peaches - our current Cavapoo - she can't wait to get out of the car and go into Laurens house. We've boarded her but also use the daycare for a day of golf! Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!!

Lauren is fantastic, she goes the extra mile with your special one. Scruffy has emotion needs and has meds and she knows how to make him feel happy. She lets him snuggle on the bed with her which he loves. She understands his needs and I know he is in loving care. She keeps me posted on how he is doing. Which is great. Lauren has taken care of our two rescued mixes for several years ( plus an extended family member’s pup. ). Sometimes it’s just an overnight or a long weekend, but we’ve used her up to a few weeks at times. We feel so comfortable knowing that she is extremely experienced and she is even helpful with solicited advice when they aren’t there and we have a training issue. She has had to give our pups medication and has no problems contacting vets if needed. Our pups might be a little spoiled by the attention they receive when they are in her care. If you were to ask our pups about their experiences, we think they would both give her two paws up!
Lauren is beyond the best! We rescued our dog, Max, as a puppy after spending over a month in a shelter. Lauren not only has given Max a safe and fun place to stay, but also has given us great advice on training him. We know Max loves Lauren as much as we do….he races to her door as soon as we pull up!
We have 2 dogs, both 8 year old Akita mixes. Lauren has been a part of their lives in one way or another since we adopted them when they were puppies. Lauren is extremely reliable, consistent and always goes above & beyond. She’s easy to communicate with and very attentive. She has tons of safety measures, plans and precautions in place to ensure any animal on her care is safe, well cared for and (most importantly) comfortable and loved. Her home and yard is always clean. She’s helped care for our dogs on many occasions, boarding them in her home or doing drop-ins at our home. Even providing behavioral help. And, we’ve witnessed her board and work with many different types of animals over the years. At some point, one of our dogs developed severe allergies. Lauren was instrumental in helping us work with a vet to diagnose the problem, better understand our dog’s illness and even create a long term treatment plan for him. She’s still attentive to his allergies and sensitivities when she cares for him. It’s not just about pet sitting. She’s extremely gifted and truly has such a passion for animals and their overall well-being. We jokingly call her Dr. Doolittle, but she really is so in tune with animals’ needs. Her knowledge and expertise cannot be matched.
Lauren has been taking care of my eighteen month old Boston Terrier twice a seek, since he was 7 months old and she has been wonderful, helping me with training and giving him plenty of play time and exercise. She is always more than happy for a drop in visit, for cats or dogs, and her boarding service is wonderful, as I never have to worry about his care. As I work fulltime, I don't know what I would do without her help and loving care of my active little dog.
We HIGHLY recommend! Lauren is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and attentive to all of the animals in her care. The boarding facilities are clean, spacious and comfortable, providing a home-like environment with an incredible grass yard that the pups love! We also appreciate receiving updates and photos which bring smiles and peace of mind knowing all is well. The dog walking and pet drop in services are also top-notch, and Lauren always goes above and beyond to ensure our animals receive the attention they need while we are away. We trust Lauren completely with the care of the rescue animals in our care as well as our personal pets and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe environment AND a knowledgeable and loving pet sitter.
The owner Lori is exceptionally caring with all of her fur babies! When we went on our 7 day vacation we received humorous and heartfelt video and photo updates every single day. In each photo our dachshund was smiling so big all of his teeth were showing! She is organized, professional and wonderful to work with. We are so relieved that there is a local boarder/day care program that only takes in dogs 20lbs and under! Thank you Lori for being a trustworthy person to leave our family members with! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DOG SITTING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! Seriously... I can't give one complaint. Laurie would message me pictures throughout the day- not a bunch but enough. My dog seemed happy and clean. When I picked him up he was not overheating or thirsty. He didn't rush to me like he needed to he saved. Laurie was responsive to messages, she seems to love dogs and happy with taking them! Her house was clean and smelled great. I mean it's like everything I looked for was done exceptionally well. I will for sure be taking Indy back there!
Lori was absolutely the best person we could have dreamed of to leave our 16 year old miniature Labradoodle Dee Dee with!!! We were in Palm Desert for 12 days and knew we were going to be playing many rounds of golf along with a day trip to Disneyland. We really didn't want to leave Dee Dee in the house we were staying at all alone for 8+ hours a day so my husband did some research ahead of time and found Bonzai's Bark. After reviewing Lori's website, everything LOOKED great, so we arranged for a meet and greet the day before we actually wanted to start leaving Dee Dee with Lori. LOVED her, her backyard and indoors for the pups and her "dog sense" ... she has a total understanding of what they really did need while they were away from their owners ... we felt very comfortable leaving Dee Dee the next day while we played golf. Lori texted us several times, throughout the day, to say Dee Dee was doing fine and even sent pictures! The rest of the trip we continued to use Lori and even had Dee Dee spend the night on the day we drove to Disneyland and back. She was at Lori's a total of 6 times over 12 days ... She did great! Lori is awesome ... we wish we could find someone like her back home here in Federal Way, WA .... thanks again, Lori, for being our dog's best friend!

Lori is amazing!! I had serious anxiety about leaving my 8 month old puppy, but she took all that away. Tbone spent a week with her while we vacationed. Thanks to Lori's loving care we all had a great time, especially Tbone. He came home one happy healthy pup! She taught him how to interact with other dogs, an invaluable lesson. LOVE LOVE LOVE Fetch!!!!!! LOVE Kathleen!!!! we travel between San Diego and Palm Springs a couple times a month. We have a terrier mix and a (freak) labordoodle. Very demanding dog to care for. If you own one then you know what I mean. Put it this way......If the color of the dog food is off...the dog will loose all its hair from stress! haha maybe not that bad but both my dogs love Kathleen. Our cat caregiver is Kathleen and she is great. She sends pictures of our boys from every visit so we know she is taking good care of them. They’re quite shy so initially she had to look for them. Eventually they got to know her and now sometimes even come out to say hi on their own. Scheduling is quick and easy. Fetch was recommend to me by a neighbor and I couldn’t be happier with the service.

Gennifer is an incredible groomer and pet sitter! She grooms many of my puppies after they go to their new families and also has them come stay at her home when their parents go out of town. She loves animals and considers them all part of her family. Her home and yard are clean and kept sanitary. Genn is very organized and thorough with contracts and paperwork and she sends photos and updates about how your fur kid is doing while you’re gone! Gennifer’s services are priceless!
I recently moved to CA and needed someone to watch my two dogs for a few days while out of town. I'm very paranoid about leaving my babies with people I don't know because they are my family and also, weimaraners are unique and not all people understand their needs/behaviors. The moment Gen walked into my house for a meet and greet, I knew she would be the perfect fit. She kept me well informed of how my dogs were doing and sent me pics and videos. We recently met and booked Gennifer for service when we planned to be out of town with family. We were hesitant in finding the right match for our needs: in-home sitter, large breed dogs, elderly dog + medication needs, and very attached — needing lots of attention. After first meeting Gennifer, I knew she was perfect because she came more well prepared for our meet and greet than I was. She asked questions that I wouldn’t have even thought of. She’s extremely thorough, so I knew she was going to take the best care of them (specifically the way we would want). Gennifer is even careful enough to ask how we normally feed/do things, so she kept things as familiar/routine as possible. We opted for 2 (1-hour) visits each day. Every visit, I had constant contact with Gennifer along with video updates, photos and updates on their appetite, mood, etc.! When it got colder, she even started putting Pinto’s jacket on for the nights. It was sad knowing they were alone during the long days/nights, but I knew they were so well loved, played with, and cared for every time she visited. I HIGHLY recommend Gennifer for all your pet services! We will be using her, exclusively from now on!!

Gen took care of our French Bulldog while we were on vacation. She came very highly recommended by a trusted friend. We couldn't be happier with how she lovingly cared for our cherished pup. We had a last-minute trip to Palm Springs and our condo didn't accept pets, so Debra came to our rescue. From beginning to end, she was easy to communicate with, made pick-up/drop-off very easy, and provided frequent updates throughout out pup's stay. Debra is the kindest and most compassionate floofer caretaker. If you're looking for day care or boarding more akin to leaving your dog with a friend or family member as opposed to a high volume overstimulating kennel, look no further. Our guy runs on the anxious and shy side yet, after a few days of boarding came back happy and well rested which I can confirm is only possible with exceptional care from a true dog lover and great environment. I give this place a 5 star because Debra is really caring for all the dogs. I really appreciate the updates and pictures that she sends. My dog gets pretty anxious sometimes but he doesn't hesitate when I bring him to Debra. I like that they are not in the kennel and free to move about and my dog is used to doing that at home. He always looked like he's having a great time. I brought my dog to her twice already on different occasions and the first time I contacted her it was a last minute and late at night but she was really flexible and she agreed to care for my dog for a couple of nights. We're not from Palm Springs but will definitely keep coming back to Doggie Heaven whenever we're in town. I definitely recommend her to anybody that wants a real loving person to care for their fur babies.
I lost my pet sitter last minute before a 3 night trip to the Palm Springs area. I found Debra off of Yelp and she instantly got back to me. Her texting process for booking a reservation was fantastic. Text threads are the way to go! I am a very nervous pet parent and am always worried about my miniature schnauzer. I have boarded her at larger boarding facilities and she always came back disoriented and not herself. I could tell that is was way too much of a stressful process for her. I went specifically with Debra because it’s a home environment and she only takes smaller dogs. Her place ended up being a GEM! She was very responsive, friendly, and communicative. She gave me an update after my dog’s first night. She posts tons of pictures on Instagram which was so great. It gave me peace of mind. From the second my dog met her to when we were picking her up, you tell she adored Debra. She is my mini’s friend for life now lol. I will absolutely be using her again and 110% recommend her to anyone looking for pet boarding. Thank you, Debra!!
My little doggy had a blast staying here. It was my first time being away from my dog overnight since she came to my life few years ago. It made a world of difference and provided me with peace of mind by how she posts videos of each dog on her Instagram story. She has an uncanny way of connecting with the dogs and making even the shyest of dogs feel right at home right away. Debbie is nothing but amazing when it comes to dog sitting and taking care of our fur babies! We have been using her for 4 years now and every time our dogs stay with her, they are always so happy during AND after their stay! This is my first experience leaving Dover at a daycare and at the moment he met Debra I can see he was thrilled by the way he ran up to her. I appreciated the photos she sent all day and when I picked him up he was still wanting to go back and give her kisses. I know he had a great day and was cared for and loved, which is what I want in a day care. Would definitely use her again.

My 2 wiener dogs absolutely love boarding with Stacy! She was quick to respond to our initial request and scheduled a meet and greet right away. She spoiled them on their first stay with sunning by the pool and trips to get pup cups! They are able to walk around in large spaces but they mostly love to cuddle. Stacy took the most incredible care of our two dogs for our wedding weekend in Temecula! She is the sweetest human and it was a blessing to find her. She is professional and communicative. We used Stacy a couple days for”drop ins” for our dog. She came to our house, fed, walked our dog, played with her…. Gave her love and attention! While we were away we received text updates that she had come by along with fun photos and videos! We even had her check on our Leopard Ghecko! 🤣 Poor thing! Stacy is the best! My dogs loved her right from the start! It was so hard finding someone who is knowledgeable in giant breed dogs. I tried a few other people before finding Stacy and now I never have to worry about them when we are away! That takes a lot of stress off the fam so we can have some relaxing time away. Madyson is terrific! My 10 year old labradoodle is so relaxed when she comes to stay. Lucca is very calm due to her personality and attention to his well being. I never worry about Madyson...my last trip away the power went off in my house...she figured out how to reset everything, and keep his environment normal. She provides me the ability to enjoy my vacations as well knowing my buddy is so happy. She is a 6 out of 5!
