Even the bus driver gave us suggestions as we went to Taunton for provisions or the Willow & Wetland. Our daily walks were abundant and picturesque. Simon, Rosie and Will are a lovely family who welcomed us into their home for a week to care for Lula. Lula is very calm and sweet during the day and enjoys walks (her recall is excellent) around the beautiful beachfront. Lula needs extra care in the evenings, she needs daily ear drops which she dislikes but is not difficult to administer. And she usually experiences some separation anxiety in the evenings and some early mornings. Occasionally, when you put her to bed she will bark until you are able to settle her. The family share a few ways to do this. Rosie and Simon are wonderful hosts, the area is beautiful just a 10 minute walk to the beach and Lula is a sweetheart. Lula does need some extra care at times so we would absolutely recommend another experienced sitter for this family. 😁
Marie's little bulldog is adorable, and her home is beautiful! It was a pleasure being Snoop's caregiver - he's a very well behaved puppy! I hope I can sit for Marie and her family again - I had an altogether enjoyable experience. Thanks, Marie!
Angela and Mike were very friendly and welcoming. They gave us a quick tour of their home making sure to show us everything, especially those things that are a bit quirky. Angela also took us along on a walk with Mabel showing us her regular walk and testing her recall with us. Their home was beautiful, tidy, and clean. It is in close proximity to Clifton Downs (a great place for walking Mabel), restaurants, and grocery. Mabel and Zazz were wonderful. Mabel was so sweet and always wanted hugs and snuggles but wasn't overly clingy. Zazzles was very vocal if he wanted strokes and is self-sufficient with his cat flap. We would highly recommend this sit and we would come back in a heartbeat.
We had the most fantastic time looking after Nala. One could say she is a tiny leopard, except she isn't because she's rather heavy-footed; you can hear her coming from a mile away as she plods towards you demanding affection in a loving manner! Nala, unlike leopards, prefers to stay indoors, with just the occasional wander around the garden. She loves having people around and if you're not around enough for her liking then she'll give you a piece of her mind. That doesn't mean she's high maintenance though, quite the contrary. We had a relaxed stay in Leek, with our highlights including listening to Nala´s purrs, belly rubbing, and visits to the stunning countryside around. Win and Neil are the perfect hosts. They're very welcoming and kindly cooked us dinner and an English breakfast (as well as the best ginger biscuits - thanks again Neil!) The house itself is very comfortable, cosy and quiet, and we enjoyed working remotely with the strong WiFi and beautiful views over the countryside and Leek. There are some lovely walks you can do in the surrounding area and Leek itself is a charming traditional market down. Win and Neil provided very clear instructions and were easy to communicate with right from the beginning. We really hope we can sit for them again in the future!
Lionel is a beautiful cat who is easy to take care of. I enjoyed my sit and Jan was easy to contact. There is a Coop shop on the same street, and Worcester is a beautiful city and 2 miles away by foot on Weir Lane.

I only have good things to say about wags and scruffs my dog use to be scared of frenchies and not the greatest at social skills. Our French Bulldog Monty has been coming here nearly every week since we got him at 14 weeks old. He loves waiting for Richard to pick him up and gets so excited when the van pulls up. He always comes back happy, tired and content. All the staff are lovely, and we receive pictures and videos of how Monty is doing. We’re so happy Monty will be staying there while we’re on holiday, as we know he will be loved and well looked after. It will be a holiday for Monty too. I cannot recommend Wags & Scuffs enough.
Poppy has been going to stay and play every Thursday since the start of the year and it is the best thing we have done, as a rescue we were naturally nervous about how she would be around the other dogs and being away from us, but she honestly loves it and gets so excited when she sees all the staff there 💖 she stayed for 2 weeks in April and we had no concerns, Vanessa and Richard sent us lots of pictures and videos and she looked like she was having the best time! Looking back at how she was when she started to now, she is like a completely different dog! Thank you Vanessa, Richard, gabby and the rest of the wags and scruffs family 🙂
Millie has been going to Wags and Scruffs for play sessions for a few weeks now. She is 6 years old but due to her background before we got her, she has separation anxiety and hates being parted from us. Vanessa and the team understood this and instead of saying they couldn’t take her, a plan was put in place to slowly introduce Millie to the fold. Within a few days Millie became a different dog, running around and joining in with the other doggies! When it’s time to come home she comes out excited wagging her tail like mad after the fab afternoon she’s just had! We get sent regular videos and updates so we can see what she’s been up to. When it’s time for occasional full day care and eventually the odd home boarding, we know Millie will be in excellent expert hands 🤗
Chalky has been going to Wags and Scruffs play and stay dates since March, he was a very nervous and sometimes reactive boy, it wasn’t great taking him for a walk. Since attending he is much more confident and it is an absolute pleasure to walk. Thank you for everything you’ve done for him and the little bit of magic you’ve sprinkled on him ❤️
Betty goes to stay and play once a week & has a fabulous time! She always comes back bouncing with energy then sleeps all afternoon. Owners and staff are so nice and you can tell they really care for the dogs.

Lily had a great week. Lily's social life improves, she communicates better, she is happy, and we are a very happy customer. Absolutely fantastic place. My dog has been coming since she was 12 weeks old and is now 4 years old. All dogs are loved and cared for as if they were their own. I highly recommend Wags and Scruffs.
Cannot recommend Wags & Scruffs highly enough. My dog absolutely loves it and the play sessions she has been attending have been invaluable. Our Nelly has been going to daycare for a few months now and absolutely loves it there. She has lots of fun with the other dogs and there’s always a theme going on. The photos and videos are lovely to see. She also boarded there for a few days and was so looked after by the lovely staff. Highly recommended.
Miranda and Sam have been cat sitters for my cats for the last 5 years. They are absolutely fantastic! Clear communication and updates following each visit, incredibly professional and the most important thing they really care about the cats. As my boys have gotten older Miranda and Sam have been brilliant able to give them extra TLC when needed as well as following increasingly complicated food and medication regimes! When my flight was delayed it was no problem to book in an emergency additional visit. Knowing they are caring for them gives me the peace of mind to be able to go away knowing they are in safe hands and truly cared for. Would highly recommend, you could not ask for better people to be caring for your cats
Quality of care of our cats was good over the course of a year but sadly two unacceptable behaviours resulted in us having to end Miranda cat sitting for us. Firstly, Miranda would send passive aggressive messages to us (on multiple occasions) while we were away which we felt was completely unnecessary and inappropriate and would often upset us while we were trying to enjoy our time away. Secondly, we recently found out that Miranda and Sam (her sister) lied about visiting our cats - they sent the same set of photos from another visit and thought we wouldn't notice. When we respectfully confronted them about it, Miranda continued to lie and got very aggressive with us. What was also disappointing was that this was one of the hottest weekends of the year and the cats were stuck inside with no-one to check on them. Overall, we realised that we couldn't trust Miranda (or Sam) to care for our cats appropriately or deal with us professionally. Such a shame that it ended this way.
Miranda is excellent! She had a great, patient approach with my anxious cat and sent us regular updates with photos. She has also been extremely accommodating with our schedule changes and requirements, and really took the time to get to know our cat, her personality and needs. Will absolutely book again :)
I was very happy with the service from Miranda at Mischievous Meows looking after my cats. She is very attuned, attentive and nurturing to my cats and I noticed they were very happy after having spent time with Miranda. She is clearly diligent and she is also reliable and where she said she would be, so accountable and reputable. I would highly recommend her services to any who are going away and do not want to use boarding as an option and have kitties cared for from the comfort of home. I trust Miranda and I can see she is only focussed on the wellbeing of the cats and I found my home in same condition as I left it. 5 star service!!

Miranda looked after my two cats while I went on holiday. I would recommend her service too anyone and everyone. Although one of my cats hid the whole time, she still tried to calm him and get him to warm up to her. My other kitten would with growl with toys which amazingly stopped after Mirandas time with her. It's clear that this isn't just a job for her but she genuinely loves cats. She gave me such piece of mind leaving them for a week, which was my first time leaving them that long. Every visit she made she would send an update and pictures. Will 100% be a returning client when I have to go away again. I returned to two very happy cats who were well looked after.

We can't recommend Happy Hounds enough. Our dog Coco, loves his sitter Ellie. She's is amazing, looks after Coco so well and we can see that every time she comes to pick him up. He's so so happy to see her and to go with her. Everything is very organised and so easy to manage on the website and we get multiple updates daily by whatsapp. Chloe is also very nice and so helpful with any questions you have. Unfortunately we're leaving the area and Coco won't be able to join daycare with Ellie anymore. I got in touch with Happy Hounds when it was time to return to work (having gained a puppy during lockdown) and they were so helpful in getting me set up with recurring services, answering any questions I had and they made leaving my puppy to return to work so much easier both emotionally and practically. My pup really enjoys the daycare and the socialisation has helped her a lot in many training aspects (even if there is still work to do). They also provide daily updates (with pics) of your pooch while they're gone which is super reassuring and something to brighten your day. They're very fairly priced and just seem like a lovely bunch of people who love what they do. I'd definitely recommend this services to other dog owners - my puppy loves going and I don't have to worry at all while she's gone.
Without doubt the best dog walking service that we have ever used. The team at Happy Hounds are completely professional and always accommodating of last minute requests as best as they can. Our dog Dalton adores his walkers, is always excited to be picked up and comes home exhausted and happy, ready for a nap. We are sent videos of his outings which is really lovely for us, and the walkers are always vigilant to any changes in behaviour and report back to us if they have any concerns. Had our first boarding experience with Johanna who watched Olive for us and I must say how comfortable my husband and I felt with her ! She stayed in touched with us, sent photos and updates..and put a business contact number tag on her collar just in case anything were to happen ..I really appreciated that extra safety..as someone who suffers with anxiety and I always worry about my pup when we go away, I can say I feel quite at ease knowing she will be in good hands with her ! We contacted Happy Hounds to organise daycare for our dog Ludo while I was pregnant, so that we could have some extra help to see me through the new born stage. From being a first time pet owner not having any knowledge of Catteries I stumbled across pixi pet care online and made an enquiry (best thing I ever did)! Cailey responded in great detail to the things I’d need if I haven’t already done so immunisation etc she helped me step by step through the whole process of the pre booking. Through out our cats stay there we were kept well informed of how he was via WhatsApp videos which was really good to see as it put my mind at ease knowing he’s being looked after. For anyone looking for a cattery I would 100% recommend Pixi Pet care. I look forward to using them in the coming future.
We’ve been sending our dog to daycare with Cailey since she was a puppy. She loves spending her time there with her friends and we feel reassured to know that our dog is having fun and being looked after well whilst we’re at work. We know Tamara for several years now and she found her special way to our doggy. My dog is a very nervous and anxious dog and not many people can see beyond that, but Tamara won her love! We boarded Luna with all instructions of how to feed her, walk, what meds to give - all that was done perfectly. Tamara communicated to us to give reassurance that Luna was fine while we were away, sending pictures and videos. That was really appreciated! It was a great experience and I will board my Luna with Tamara without doubt any time.
This is best dog walker/dog boarding in the area. I have a disabled dog and this did not put her off at all. Tamara was polite and friendly, she went dogs pace to gain his trust. I would not ever use anyone else for my pet. Our dog is a family member hence I would only want the best for him and that is where this company comes in. Absolutely amazing!!

We left our puppy with Nicola and Andrea whilst we went abroad for a week. We could not have been happier with the service they have provided and the care and affection they have shown towards her -treating her as if she was their own. The daily updates are very reassuring and it’s lovely to see the photos and videos to show how much fun she was having with out us! We cannot recommend my best friend Chigwell highly enough and we will definitely be using them again in the future :)
Our Puppy loves Nicola!!, she is very professional and asked to see proof of vaccinations, micro chipping and in depth details of puppy during registration. She is flexible and reliable and takes him for lovely walks whilst he is with her. She is clearly very much a dog lover and loves your fur baby as much as you do. Nicola is fantastic at keeping me up to date with my dog throughout the day with pictures and videos. My puppy loves being with Nicola and comes home tried from all the fun he has with her. We are really pleased to have found Nicola and someone who loves our puppy as much as we do.
We had a fantastic time using the dog boarding service with Nicola. It was clear from speaking to her that she has great experience and knowledge about looking after dogs. As a first time customer our concerns and queries were put at ease with Nicola's professionalism and the continuous updates about our dog (including photos and videos). Nicola took a very good care of my dog when she was boarding for over two weeks. I received daily updates, photos and videos and I could tell that my little girl was having great time. I even started to worry that she will not want to come back home. It was a very good value for money and I can definitely recommend Nicola.
I stumbled across this company via Google search . I decided to contact them solely due to the smiley person in the image on the website, Nicola got back to me the next day. Speaking to her I felt reassured that she was the right person to entrust the care of our dog to. I am very pleased with Nicola and Emma, they are professional caring warm and friendly. They are at ease with what the do and the dogs are at ease with them too. I have used them more often than what I originally intended as our 9 month dog looks like he gets great benefit of the enclosed walk that we book him in for , especially being a lockdown puppy !!
Our dog LOVES hearing Nicola come to take him for his daily walk- he runs to get her a toy and wags his tail in excitement. When we got him from a rescue centre he didn't even know how to play or what a toy was, so it's amazing to see him run to his toys to share. Nicola is very professional and asked to see proof of vaccinations and micro chipping etc. She is punctual and reliable and takes him for lovely walks in Fairlop Waters which he had never been to before. She is clearly very much a dog lover and is confident walking him even though he is the size of a bear :-) We are really pleased to have found Nicola.
Nicola is a very friendly, professional individual, when we first met with Nicola our puppy who was 3 months at the time took to Nicola straight away and we could see that she would feel very comfortable. Nicola is always happy to answer questions and provide advice. We trust Nicola completely and most importantly our Puppy feels at home with Nicola. We have used day services as well as overnight and Nicola always provides lovely video and photos of all the fun our puppy is having. You will find a second home using Nicola’s services. Where do I start!! My puppy has been going on walks with My Best Friends dogcare Chigwell for the past couple of months and I cannot be happier with the service and fundamentally the care and love they show Hugo! It started with walks in the morning and as of recent I’ve not been able to walk Hugo because of health reasons, so Nicola and Emma have been taking him for the whole day and he’s so happy with them on the walks and has clearly developed a bond with both Nicola and Emma. He waits at the door every morning for them to arrive!! The updates daily with photos and videos are amazing and assures you that your dog is in great hands! They’ve also been amazing support as I cannot walk Hugo at the moment. Nicola is so knowledgable on all aspects of dog care and is also on hand to offer the best advice ! Thank you so much! Xxx
My pup has been with Nicola since the beginning of 2020. I am so glad I found her as you can tell she loves the dogs in her care and treats them all as if they were her own. Every time she arrives at my door my dog goes mental with excitement. I feel totally relaxed and calm knowing my doggy is in great hands. It's perfect for him to socialise too with other dogs and he always come home tired and happy. Aurora is a fantastic walker. She really cares about dogs and Rhia was clearly very happy with her walks. I felt totally secure with her service. Aurora is great with communication and send great pictures. I would highly recommend and will be using again in the future!

Aurora took care of our Boston Terrier and Vizsla for one night, and we couldn’t be happier! She has awesome knowledge, especially she knew how to work with our energetic Vizsla. Aurora is absolutely amazing. She came over to meet my cat, Pigeon, before taking on the job to make sure they both got on and she knew where everything was. Then, she was super thorough and asked for lots of details about Pigeon and her health and who our vets were etc. incase of any issues when she was cat sitting. This was massively appreciated and let me know Aurora was an amazing choice as cat-sitter! I got pictures of pigeon when I was away so I knew everything was okay and I felt so reassured the whole time which meant I could really enjoy myself. I wouldn't hesitate to use Aurora for cat-sitting again, and can't recommend others do the same!! And see attached for some lovely pics of Pigeon and Aurora!
Aurora took really good care of my Penelope (cat) when I had to go away urgently. They got on instantly so I knew she would be in great company. I received an update and photos everyday which was a great part of the service and Aurora kept me updated on anything else that occurred during the 2 weeks. I could not be happier with the service and I know Penelope was really looked after. I will definitely be using Aurora's services in the future and will recommend to family and friends.
Our cockapoo has been going to Aurora since April 2021 (when he was about 14 weeks old) for daycare 2-3 times a week and overnights, and he couldn’t be happier! Aurora, Diego and her dogs are his second family - they’ve taken such good care of him, I really don’t know what we would do without her. Even since we moved out of the area last month, we still send him for overnights because it’s such a comfort to know he’s somewhere where he’s loved and looked after. We have also sent him for longer periods when we have been away on holiday and she’s been great. She is always very reliable, communicative and really knows how to take care of animals. Do not hesitate to book, but be warned, your dog may have a new favourite!
Sharon looked after my late dog on a couple of occasions and I was very happy with her service. As a pet professional myself I'm very picky on who I would leave my dog with but I was filled with confidence and provided a great service, she gave me regular updates and my dog came home happy and content on both occasions. He was a little more difficult than your average dog but Sharon was capable of handling his needs without issue.
Sharon visited our small pets while we were away to feed and clean them. She clearly really cares about the welfare of the animals, and I was very comfortable leaving them in her care. When we returned it was clear they'd been well looked after.
Sharon has been looking after our dog for over 2 years now. Sharon is always accommodating even though our dog has to be solo boarded. Our dog is very happy with Sharon and always pleased to see her. Any special instructions given such as food requirements are always followed. Sharon is very responsive to all messages and sends us pictures and updates, which is greatly appreciated.
Sharon has looked after our small animals in her home on several occasions now. We have been delighted with the care she has given them - great communication and peace of mind for us. Could not recommend her more highly.
Sharon looks after our dog and we couldn’t be more happy with her, I hate to leave him with anyone but he loves going to stay with her, Sharon is also really great if we get back late I leave her a key and she drops our dog home, feel really confident he is getting the best care

Great friendly, professional service. I have got a rescue dog who can be quite nervous, Daisy understands her needs and is great with her. Therefore, I feel confident when Daisy looks after her. I would highly recommend Daisy's Pet Care.
Daisy and her team are fantastic, they really look after our girl and she always comes back from walks absolutely knackered. We've had daisy for around 7 months now and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. She has really helped our young cockerpoo socialise with other dogs and her confidence has grown massively. Definitely recommend!
I have numerous pets; 2 cats, 2 chinchillas, 2 rabbits, 3 guinea pigs, 4 tortoises & an outdoor fish pond & needed someone to care for these animals for 8 days by coming into my home & feeding & cleaning them. I contacted Daisy & we met to discuss what needed to happen & subsequently agreed upon a price. Daisy then returned the week before to collect the front door key & make final arrangements for the daily care. During the 8 days we kept in touch & photos of how the animals were fairing were provided with me answering any concerns Daisy had regarding their eating habits. When I returned I found all the animals to be in good condition & cages tidied as agreed. I have no hesitation in recommending Daisy's services at all; she showed a professional & caring manner & a genuine desire to ensure everything went as agreed...…..I hope to use Daisy's services again in the future, which in itself is testament to how well I think she did...…..thank you Daisy (from me & the animals) for a professional & caring service.
Friendly service. These guys know what you need from a pet service. Photos and lots of updates. Lovely family dogs. Our puppy was finally tired after a day of play and care. Recommend highly.

Roger is the best. He has been helping us with our Beagle for years in different capacities. When she was an extremely difficult puppy, he took her regularly for a few days and nights a week to be with his pack. It meant we kept our sanity and our dog too. He has a lovely manner with dogs and humans alike. Our very own dog whisperer. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Our hound knows him as Uncle Roger 🐶
Rodger goes above and beyond to ensure our boy is well looked after and has a great time with him and the other dogs, whether he’s out for a walk or staying overnight. Highly recommend his daycare
Roger is great! Can always rely on him to take good care of my dog. He loves going to daycare and it’s the only place he will stay overnight without me.
Our dog George absolutely loves attending daycare, he goes bonkers as soon as we approach the front door. Roger is a wonderful, kind doggy carer and a safe pair of hands!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Not only was this guy habitually late, but I also caught him on video being very rough with and ultimately striking my dog. He is NOT a professional dog walker (he said he drives a taxi), and I would NOT RECOMMEND him to ANYONE. EVER.
My Westie puppy loves going to Roger’s and is growing into a very happy confident dog thanks to his care.
