I had a blast watching Sid and Tito! Emily was really easy to work with, left clear instructions, and maintained consistent communication with me. Sid and Tito are very well behaved and I had fun spending time with them.
Vicki and her family have done such an incredible job with Choco; he is truly one of the best behaved dogs I’ve ever met. He was a pleasure to spend the week with, and was so wonderful with my small dog, Elle. Even though he still has some puppy energy, he was always careful with her. By the end of the week, they were playing and cuddling like best friends. Vicki’s home is charming, clean, and comfortable. It’s in a convenient area of Austin, but also feels very safe. Starting with our video interview I felt like I clicked with Vicki, and it was easy to talk with her throughout the process. She gave great instructions and was always quick to respond and patient when I had a question. The fish are new but were very easy to care for, and super cool to watch! I’d definitely sit for this family again and I’m so happy to have met Choco - I think I want a dog like him, now!
It was a total joy to mind Veteh for 3 whole weeks in their lovely apartment overlooking the docks and houseboats in Surry Quays. She is so sweet, independent at night when she goes out to do her own thing, then friendly when she returns to sleep off the day, and playful. I was able to arrive before they left and Alina and Ion showed me around their super clean, spacious and light filled flat, and I met Veteh. They are a lovely couple, very welcoming, friendly and helpful if I had a question. My weeks minding Veteh were very special. I loved working in their office with a water view, running along the Thames each morning, and there is a great Italian cafe/deli nearby and good Vietnamese restaurants. The area is a dead end so very quiet with just the sounds of people out walking and cycling. I’m originally Australian and staying there reminded me of Sydney - my favourite London sit yet! Helped by the 30C weather while I was there. :) I would be very happy to return and mind Veteh any time. And highly recommend minding Veteh and their place if you’re lucky enough to be invited..
