Holly was a wonderful house and pet sitter! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, organized, communicative, and very compassionate companion for their animal. My dog, Carver, was the most relaxed and least anxious I have ever seen him after we have been gone. I can tell she spent lots of time with him and spoiled him with cuddles and walks. To top it all off, our house was clean and our mail was neatly stacked on our entryway table. If you have the chance to have Holly pet/housesit for you, do it! I hope she will be able to pet/housesit for us again in the future.
This was a very easy sit in a pretty Cotswolds village with 3 loveable pets. Charlotte was good at communicating and very accommodating - we couldn't fulfill the entire sit and she very kindly managed to arrange cover for the last 24hrs. Sunny & Olive were easy to care for, great on their walks and very well-behaved. We hadn't anticipated seeing much of Bobs as Charlotte mentioned she was shy, but she joined us daily for snuggles and was very sweet ❤️ The village is very quiet with lots of walks from the door (which were quite muddy during our stay) and has a great pub only 2 mins from the house and a cute village shop. This sit would be well suited to anyone who loves rural sits and wants to immerse themselves in quaint village life!
Wow. I loved this three month sit so much. I had a wonderfully warm welcome from Kinga and Nikolas. They spent a few days settling me in, showing me all dear Lini needed in the way of meds, supplements and cooked meals. She was such a pleasure to care for. Although she is deaf, she understood my hand and body language. She had bursts of energy and although she is really old there were definitely puppy moments. She loved going out with me in the car for beach walks and to Tavernas for lunch. Little Rufus was a recently acquired rescue kitten. He is very mischievous and a real cuddler. I adore him. The first time I've had Christmas with no family or friends. Just the two fur children and me. We had a happy day together. My accommodation was fabulous and all my needs were catered for. I feel Kinga and Nikolas are friends. They are a very warm, kind generous and hospitable couple and I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much.
Sue and Steve were very welcoming and left the house invitingly set up with firewood, clear instructions and helpful winter tips- like bring gumboots! Being a rural location, the external security camera and having neighbour’s numbers on hand meant that it felt entirely safe. I much enjoyed the farm like routines of chook feeding and egg collecting / storing. An easy drive to Hamilton or Cambridge makes for a good location if shopping etc needed. Hence I would highly recommend house sitting for Steve and Sue. Pleasant winter evenings spent with Possum, the shy cat, curled up on my lap. 😊
Bonnie was very kind, allowed us to stay at her house with our cat. She left us clear instructions, which we could read when we arrived at the house. Stella is an adorable dog, very playful, affectionate and with a lot of energy. She trusted us from the moment we arrived. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean and very well located. Thanks to Bonnie and Stella for this experience.
With amazing hosts like Suzanne and Jim, it came as little surprise that three generations of poodles —grandma Suzy, mama Betty and baby Bonnie—were such a pleasure. Each girl had her own personality … from shy Suzy to boisterous Bonnie, they showered us with snuggles. Suzanne and Jim’s home is an oasis, with beautiful views of the neighboring vineyard and plenty of space for the girls to run and play in the fully fenced yard. Suzanne was a terrific communicator, leaving us with all the information we needed to care for both their beautiful home and precious pups. We would love to return in the future to spend more time with this lovely trio of sweethearts!
I had the pleasure of looking after Marple for a couple of weeks, he is an absolute gem, always welcoming me home at the end of a long day. Tash & Adam were wonderful hosts too, gave heaps of recommendations for things to do in the area. Their flat is very cosy and homely, in the best location, easily accessible to the train and bus station and Walthamstow Village. I cannot wait to look after Marps again in the future.
