Oh, a warm, loving, childlike canine, with old-soul-looking eyes! It was a joy caring for Che! I've only cried once after leaving a pet, and this was my second time. His presence is cherished. He looooves being caressed, snuggling up on your lap, and just your absolute attention. And he definitely deserves it. Although, if I needed time to write, type, or still time, I would have to leave the living room (most of the time) 🤭 because he will ask for attention by either jumping on you, asking with his paws, or even soft head-bumps nudging you to leave your phone and pet him! 😁 If he got his walks and a petting session, he would often just snuggle up and lay down for a nap if he saw me focused on washing, cooking, texting or reading. I will mention that when caring for Che, he would be overly protective and defensive when some men (and a couple of women) would pass by, so I would have to have him very close to me when walking! He takes a little bit to warm up to strangers. He loves to look for food in the bushes and on the street (there are many stalls and restaurants in the area), so beware! He's sneaky and smart! And I will say he actually did get sick on me right on the 25th because of something he ate the previous night, most likely, so it was worrisome. But, he did get better! Overall, my time with Che was lovely and filled with surprises. I would definitely care for him again! Now, the host: Anna was the one that I communicated with (Noah was not present during this time), and she was a warm host, very kind and considerate! She gifted me Christmas slippers to use around her apartment because yes it was chilly (it's Mexico City, and it was the season of course) and even a coconut skin moisturizer and coconut hand sanitizer, plus some goodies! The abode was spacious, bright, and safe! Even though Anna was going through a lot during this time, she was so thoughtful and communicative. She left everything tidy, even the spare bedroom, in case my sister wanted to come over for the holidays and stay the night too. I am so thankful to have been trusted to care for Che and enjoy a beautiful abode. Thank you, Anna! I am so happy to be connected now 🌺
Looking after sana was our first experience on trusted house sitter and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Suga was extremely hospitable, he prepared us well with all of the information we would need during our stay for the house as well as Sanas needs. He invited us over for dinner to meet him and Sana before he left, and his wife made us an AMAZING meal the day he came back with his family. If we needed to contact him throughout his trip he was quick to get back to us. He was kind, thoughtful and ensured we were comfortable during our stay. And dear Sana! Sana is sweet, cuddly and everything you’d expect from an energetic wee pup. She would snuggle up and sleep with us every night- she is very smoochy and warmed up to us quickly!! She loves to play at the park and she is open to peanut butter bribes if and when necessary. We will miss Sana and her snuggles and would housesit for her again if we ever come back to edinburgh :)
We had the best weekend at Emily’s looking after her house and pets 🩷 Betty and Dot are well behaved and so lovely, plus the cat and Guinea pigs are low maintenance and super cuddly! Communication was clear and friendly, Emily was quick to respond if we needed anything but left heaps of great instructions so we had a really easy and comfortable stay. Thanks for a fantastic weekend, we would love to come back sometime and absolutely recommend to anyone else looking for a house sit.
This was my 2nd sit and it was wonderful. Emily was a lovely host with great communication from start to finish, and Bentley was an absolute dream. Although a short sit (4 days), me and Bentley bonded instantly. We had lots of adventures, cuddles and snoozes together and I'm already missing him! Emily's house is lovely with everything a sitter could need. Located in the beautiful and peaceful Snettisham (Norfolk), it is only 2 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from Norfolk Lavender fields and 10 mins from Hunstanton seaside. An absolute perfect location for scenic walks and brisk runs on the beach. I would love, love, love to look after Bentley again (hopefully for longer next time) and so I have no hesitation at all in recommending this HO and the gorgeous Bentley. I would like to thank Emily once again for trusting me with the care of her precious boy - please give him a big kiss from me. xxx
What a wonderful sit! I could not recommend Anaïs and Matt highly enough. From the moment we connected on the app to our first meeting - they have been nothing but warm and brilliant. Their house is very welcoming, it almost has loft vibes (high ceilings, open spaces and lovely island kitchen). Their pets Dexter and Archer are very sociable. Dexter takes a while to warm up to you, but once he does he'll follow you anywhere you go. Archer is very entertaining - his face is adorable and you'll need to let him come to you (usually for me that was at night for cuddles before bed). They both love their fresh water and a clean litter, so make sure you check those daily. Thanks for everything!
