Lynne answered a last minute posting to stay at our house for a long weekend. She left the house just as we left it and the kitties were happy when we got home! I actually accidentally posted that we would be away one more day than expected and she was very understanding when I let her know we would be home sooner than expected. I would have liked to have gotten prompter responses to my text messages checking-in to make sure everything was ok, but all in all everything went smoothly and we were appreciative that Lynne was able to stay and take good care of the kitties!
Andrea did a fine job taking care of our home and pets. The house was neat and tidy and the 3 dogs were happy and calm upon our return. I couldn't ask for more really.
Dina recently cat-sat for me while I was across the country, and ironically I was near her hometown! She was phenomenal, to say the least. Dina and I set up a phone call before confirming any sit commitments and from the very beginning I knew she would be a great fit to watch my kitty, Janet. Her communication and curiosity about Janet's daily routine left me feeling very confident I would have no problems leaving my pet in her trusting hands. She was also very understanding about my current storage situation, which I tend to be insecure about ever since I lost my small business's storage unit and had to get creative in my apartment with inventory. While I was away, Dina was extremely communicative when she arrived at the sit, including sending pictures of Janet to show how quickly they became friends! It only put my mind more at ease once she got there. Dina would text me daily towards the evening to give me updates on Janet including what play time consisted of, when she ate, and how she was overall doing while Dina was with her. It was clear that she made my kitty very comfortable and they created a strong bond very quickly. When I returned home once Dina's sit was complete, my apartment was left exactly how I left it to the inch! Dina went above and beyond in making sure Janet's litter box was clean at all times, kitchen/bathroom trash was freshly replaced with a clean bag, and even reset the sofa pillows just as I had it, to welcome me home. I couldn't have asked for more! I would invite Dina anytime back to Brooklyn if she needed somewhere to stay and to care for my cat, Janet. Not only was she trustworthy and professional, but she was extremely kind and friendly. I would recommend her to anyone using this site in a heartbeat!
