He lived literally ONE mile away from me. This made it easy to meet in advance of the sit and go over details. During this process, he told me he would have to leave soon. This gave me the impression it was a lower priority for him. Being 1 mile away, however brought up some things I hadn't experienced with sitters from out of town. He wanted to know if it was ok to have friends over to my apt. My cat is very shy and timid around strangers and I told him no. He wanted to cook in my kitchen. It was left very messy. 3 cupboard doors left open, food stains on the stove, counter and fridge. Pots, pans and utensils, he used were not put away. For a person who lives one mile away, these are both things I would have thought could have just as easily been done in his own space. Why did he need to use mine and leave it in this condition? He didn't clean out the cat brush, not sure if this was to prove he had brushed my cat. He left the litter scoop IN the litter box. An amateur move, this would make many cats NOT use the litter box. In the past my cat has stopped using the litter box for similar reasons. She is older and relies on steps to climb onto furniture to sit with me or to sleep with me. Cats, creatures of habit, are upset with changes and one of her steps was moved. She's old, the equivalent of a 90 yr old grandma who depends on these things being there for her in the same place. Without telling me he locked the chain on my front door from inside the apt. So I was unable to enter my apt from the front door. After a long trip home, after getting to my front door I discovered, I had to use the back door. Had he just mentioned that in advance it would have been nice. I left my keys in a lockbox and the lockbox was not returned to inside the apt like I asked. The management company has asked us NOT to leave those out. My internet device was left plugged in, I had asked in person and in writing, it be unplugged when not in use. I had asked that bedding not be removed from my bed, I prefer to do that myself as the bed frame is susceptible to easily being damaged. The bedding was left in a pile on the floor with a damp towel at the bottom of that pile. Personally I was taught, if you use something belonging to someone else, including their personal space, to return it to the same or better condition you found it. In my opinion, this was not done for my space and my things. Petcare felt to me, as if it was less than the top priority and that Andy is not very experienced with pet care. Overall, I was unhappy with Andy's care of my pet and my space.

Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith!

I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away.

Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable.

In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture.

I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!

Jeff and Amy were absolutely amazing!
They were extremely flexible, friendly and down to earth. Most importantly, we saw how much they adored our animals and the wonderful care they gave them by our dogs actions when we returned.
Their communication was great before the sit as well as during the sit, sending welcomed pictures from home.
We came back to our home looking just as great as we left it and very happy animals.
We not only are happy with their time here, but we also feel we made new friends for life.
You will not be disappointed chosing them to care for your home and animals.

Noel
What a complete delight, starting with our first contact with Noel and Justin. Everything was efficient and well organized including communication and their apartment. The apartment was super clean. The big picture window with the great view, including Lake Merrit, made it feel a vacation. We really enjoyed the very eclectic neighborhood; walking around the lake, up the hill to beautiful homes, quirky shopping/restaurant areas (including Arizmendi bakery), Trader Joe's, BART and the iconic Fairyland. Tommy and Yuki were just as described and we felt at home with both them, and they with us -Tommy immediately and Yuki after a day or two. Just a lovely time.

Lovely small flat in a great location, and two gorgeous kitties. Monika and Sean were very welcoming, and left me all the necessary information I needed to look after the cats. I had a delightful time with them.

Natalia
I thoroughly enjoyed sitting for Natalia and Dib. They made me very welcome to their super London apartment. Shanti and Manuka are such interesting cats; intelligent, athletic, playful and very easy to care for. The location is great, close to buses, several underground stations and walking distance to local stores and a large supermarket. Thank you!

Sydney
It was a pleasure sitting for Sydney and Jim in their lovely traditional home in Seattle. I looked after two cute cats, Piper and Ike, who soon adapted to having me in the house. Sydney gave very clear instructions about Piper's medication needs, and how the house operated. The location was great, 5 minutes walk to the shops, buses to downtown and a coffee shop on the corner. I was visiting my daughter who lives nearby so I was able to walk to her place daily, absolutely ideal. This was a great house sit, and I was made to feel very welcome and trusted to look after their precious cargo. Thank you Sydney and Jim for choosing me.

Jojo
I enjoyed getting to stay at Jojo's flat and looking after Tonic. Tonic is easy-going, cute and fun so caring for her was straightforward.

The flat is in a great location with lovely views. Everything I needed was nearby. Jojo was already away when I started the sit as she decided to change from having a drop-in sitter to a live-in sitter but we spoke on video and she answered all my questions.

Thank you!
