Cat sitting Rosie was honestly a delight and I’d do it again in a heartbeat! She is such a sweet, affectionate cat and her parents are lucky to have her. Jessica and her partner were friendly and warm and very welcoming, as is their 2bedroom bungalow in west Oakland. It is walking distance to Temescal district and honestly it’s so nice to not have to take a car everywhere. Highly recommend them!
Honestly, perfection 🙂 Ettie is a beautiful person who was instantly warm and accommodating; welcoming me into her and Roisín’s gorgeous home and explaining my responsibilities with clarity and ease. Roisín is extraordinarily friendly, yet knows exactly when to give space (when preparing dinner for example), and she’s a proper fusspot for a beard scratch! I loved every minute of my stay, and I am extremely grateful to have got to love and look after Roisín and her marvellous house. It’s rare to meet characters who are so effortlessly easy to get along with, and with that, I give thanks 🙏💚
