Our doggos loved Ana and Jordan - and we did too! We were jealous that the dogs got to hang out with them more than we did, they were such a cool couple. We came back to a sparkling clean house, everything in its place. They sent pics of the dogs while we were away, which is always nice. It seemed like they were also really on top of the dog walks too. Super sweet couple and we felt really good about leaving our house and dogs in their care. Highly recommend!
Maria and Paul were as welcoming and relaxed as their sweet 4 KitKats. They have a beautiful home only a few minutes away from a gorgeous park. We enjoyed looking at the artwort, watching Netflix, grilling in the backyard as well as cycling to the lake nearby. The cats are very easygoing and sweet and the hosts were very generous with us offering to eat their remaining groceries and use the coffee machine while they were gone. Never a dull moment in Grunewald! I’m grateful for this experience.
We enjoyed looking after beautiful Lola in her delightful traditional elegant home. Our hosts were so gracious and kind and communicated well to ensure a smooth sit for Lola and for us! We feel we have made new friends, and would be delighted to return to see Lola and our lovely hosts again.
Kimi s easygoing, communicative and helpful in providing all the pertinent information needed to best take care of Huck & Hank. Huck and Hank are such good, well-behaved pups. They have super sweet temperaments and are a pleasure to sit and hang out with. Their place is quiet, peaceful and the location is great for visiting surrounding areas (Buena Vista and Salida) for hiking (some of the 14’ers!), mountain biking, and several hot springs! I felt welcomed me into their home, recommend them, and would love to sit for them again.
We spent Christmas week 2022 in the enchanting company of Barney the Wonder Dog at Janet & Andy’s beautiful home in the Wye Valley. Barney is an absolute delight, affectionate and well behaved; he is a happy soul who loves company, play, walks and snoozes. Janet & Andy are experienced owners who have had lots of sitters and know exactly what information is needed for an effective hand-over and stay. They are also generous and good company, which makes the first meeting & orientation super easy and very pleasant. Everything a sitter needs and indeed hopes for is anticipated and catered for by Janet & Andy; fridge & freezer space (particularly welcome at Christmas), firewood supplies, a lovely “welcome” bottle of wine and some soup to make sure we had a meal ready after our arrival. Their lovely house is warm and comfortable, in a contemporary style which is easy to live in and just “works”. There is a very nice, comfortable bedroom with a large bed and a private bathroom for sitters. It’s essential to have your own transport because the house is in glorious isolation, with marvellous panoramic views all around and dark skies for stargazing. There are lovely walks on the doorstep and within a short drive away. Barney is in his element out in the countryside and a great walk companion. Unfortunately, Ruff the cat was AWOL for the entire week & we didn’t even catch a glimpse of him.
In July, I was chosen to come housesit for Dana, Brian, and Winston, their tabby loveable kittycat. Their home is located in Schomberg, Ontario. The main street is full of restaurants, quaint little shops and people who are happy to say hello to anyone who visits. I loved everything about this housesit. My first meeting with Dana was very relaxed because Dana was so relaxed and their home had everything in it that you too would have no choice but to relax. The character of this century home was so unique, and I loved how the owners used their own unique style to make it their own. How wonderful to sit outdoors on a covered Veranda watching as ppl go by. The detailed guide that Brian provided was everything a sitter would need to know and want to know. Thank you both it helped in every way Winston did take his time to welcome me. When he did, I knew I had a friend. He loves to snuggle and purr. He needs his own space at times, he will disappear a few hours in his hideaways Thank you Brian,Dana and Winston, for inviting me into your home as your trusted pet and house sitter. All the best Donna
Our sit was wonderful. Josh and Sam have a great place, central to everything. Very convenient for great food, coffee and people watching. Monkey is such an easy cat! She is adorable! The place is well stocked with anything you need, but so many good restaurants within walking distance, we never cooked!
