This sit was nothing short of spectacular. Frank and Jarlath are kind and communicative and made us feel completely comfortable with our daily routine. We immediately fell in love with Maebh and Haley who are both 100% obedient, well-behaved and affectionate. The home is spotless, the spacious and welcoming kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more, and the bed is beyond comfortable. There is a persistent cool breeze that blows across the property which is surrounded by bucolic rolling hills. Mountain views can be seen from every room. The home is sun-flooded and peaceful with sounds of nature all around. We did not want to leave. Grab this sit if you have the opportunity!
This is a lovely sit in a nice little village with some great walks and wildlife. Ian and Di were very welcoming and immediately made me feel welcome, their house is very homely and set right by a chalk stream with birds darting everywhere, it was very peaceful! Their chickens were very well behaved and laid lots of eggs. I visited lulworth cove, Weymouth and Dorchester and they were all well worth the visit. Thanks again for the invite, hope to see you again in the future.
We loved our sit in Southwater. Vincent and Sims are fantastic warm and friendly hosts and we felt very welcome and at home in their beautiful, spotless home. They communicated clearly before and during the sit. We also really appreciated being picked up at the local train station to begin our sit. We completely fell in love with Balou and Bagheera! Balou loves his cuddles and sleeping right under the duvet. Bagheera is a little more independent but enjoys announcing when he thinks it is treat or wet food time. Both kitties enjoy snuggling up on the sofa with you and it is adorable to watch them groom each other. We are certainly missing them. The village location is lovely and has all the necessary amenities, shops, cosy pubs, lots of green spaces and country walks. Horsham is a quick 15 minute bus ride away with good transport links to London and the South Coast. Perfect kitties, perfect hosts and a perfect sit! Thank you both for a wonderful stay 🐱x
NORA: We had the pleasure of meeting Bill and his beautiful dog Nyx, in front of the ocean and sharing thoughts and passions. From first moment, it was all spontaneous and simple in their company. Bill is a kind heart person, someone that you hope to have in your circle of friends. Nyx is a young dog, incredibly smart and sweet; she needs dynamic people- but i don't worry if you are lazy: her energy is contagious and it invites you to play and move at all times as you have never done it before :-D If you are looking for a motivational company, large doses of sweetness Nyx will deliver. Bill's beautiful house offers peace & privacy, inspiration thanks to the gorgeous garden and the nature that surrounds the entire area of the village in which it is located. We felt lucky to be chosen for this dog sitting on our road. ARNE: this petsit was pretty much as someone would image it in an ideal situation: we sent message, catch up at the beach, hang out/go surfing together before the petsit.... ....have a fabulous time pet-sitting, enjoyed the beautiful eucalyptus forest when walking this funny border collie, .....welcome back dinner with Bill, left the nx morning... with invitation to pass by any time. PERFECTION. the NYX description: intelligent, fast comprehending & potential to learn anything. He adapts quickly to new situations: by nature, he is curious & funny. With other dogs Nyx is social. It is likely, that she was a stand-up comedian in her previous life- surely there will be many laughers. She has all the assets you wish in a dog. Bill himself was a good mate/good host: kind, hospitable, genuine. You feel comfortable in his presence. The house & location is, as Nora described it nicely, secluded- feels soo good place to return after the bustling beaches. So :-) if You got a chance to look after Nyx, You better hurry writing to Bill.
Susan's house is in a lovely area close to the historic and gorgeous town of Coupeville. The view of Penn Cove from their living room is incredible and the beach is a short walk down the hill. Gracie, their elderly pup, is a real sweetie and while pretty arthritic, she still loves to take walks, play fetch with her ball and just to be around you. The communication with Susan was immediate and spot on. This is a wonderful housesit with a wonderful pet, owners and house!
Timmy was so sweet, and Sandra and Vardi are the nicest people. Their home is welcoming and so is the little village they live in. Would watch any of their pets any time.
