I had such a wonderful time at Barry & Helen's house. They are lovely people who made me feel very welcome at their place and took the time to show me around before leaving. They have made a little heaven of their land, with such a beautiful and charming house, garden, ponds with fishes, a veggie plot, and lots of trails in the forest. Morla the turtoise enjoys a big outdoor pen, and although shy at first, she got to learn to know me and seemed to appreciate hanging out with me on the deck while I played the guitar :) Gracie the cat also hanged out when I played music. Whenever she was not exploring outside, she would sit or sleep right next to me, or sometimes on my lap. She is so sweet, cuddly and affectionate, and really easy to care for. She likes the company and I liked her company too! Caring for the plants and the garden was easy too, and I got to enjoy the bounty of summer, with lots of zucchinis, cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, kale, elderberries... Thanks again Barry and Helen for sharing this abundance with me and for trusting me in caring for your home and pets! I hope we'll meet again!
I highly recommend this sit! Bella and Dom were so kind and great to communicate with. Their kitties Lola, Momo, and Houdi are the best and I fell in love with all of them! They’re in a very safe and comfortable area as well. I really enjoyed watching these kitties and I’d happily do it again!
Buster was an easy and lovely dog to take care of, and Liz’s home was super clean and comfortable!
Indie's soulful eyes do not lie - this dog is full of affection, joy, and willingness to take endless walks, play in her huge yard, and receive so many ear scratches; it'll steal your heart. I felt immediately at home in the lovely house, with fruit trees galore, tonnes of private space, and a great spare room. Nadine showed me the typical walking trails which begin right out the back gate, through an excellent park where Indie gets along swimmingly with people and dogs alike. The nearby aquatic centre is a fabulous perk, and the shops & station are within easy walking distance. It was a pleasure to step into this wonderful family's life!
Chalkie is delightful and loves being curled up on your lap. Josephine's house is very comfortable and spacious. A lovely quiet area near the sea. I wouldn't hesitate to look after Chalkie again.
Our sit with Bodhi and Ollie was marvelous! Kiana and Joe made sure their house was everything we needed it to be and more. They were proactive and helpful in answering questions throughout our sit. Thanks so much for a great weekend! Would be happy to sit the boys again any time.
