Annabel
I have been sitting for some years now and I still can't get over how privileged I feel every time I am invited into someone's home and entrusted with their 'furry family', it really is a most heart warming and emotional experience. Annabel is warm, extremely kind, thoughtful and very accommodating not to mention super organised and had left me very thorough notes which helped enormously with the ongoing puppy training. Mango is such a fabulous dog and he has totally stolen my heart and despite being only 6mths old he is a remarkably easy puppy to care for thanks to Annabel and the amazing training she has already invested in him. The two kitties Oscar and Olive are extremely affectionate but you do have to go in search of them as they are still adjusting to life with a puppy and so for the moment prefer to hide upstairs where it's quiet but they love attention and will start purring and rolling over as soon as you start to stroke them. It's a beautiful home in a lovely part of the world and anyone lucky enough to sit for this super family will indeed be very lucky. It would have been really tough leaving had I not already been booked to go back in 2 weeks time so now I'm just counting the hours! I can't recommend this sit more highly, they really don't get any better!

Kathy
Kathy and Dave are such a lovely and welcoming couple of us into their amazing home. We were fortunate enough to spend the night before with them and were shown around which was greatly appreciated and awfully kind of them
Jack and Cooper are the most adorable, well-behaved poodles and we loved hanging out / looking after them and taking them to the dog park
Sophie and Morris would come and go throughout the day for a pet and cuddle and although we didn't see much of Judah, we occasionally saw him floating around the yard
We loved our time at Kathy and Dave's home and would happily return if the opportunity ever arose. Thanks again for everything guys :)

Peggi
WOW, what an amazing house sit!
If you enjoy a relaxing stress-free stay, this place is for you. The location is ideal, although the gurgling of the river as it flows through the valley can cause an almost Zen-like feeling.
Peggi and Ken are the most gracious hosts. As we live nearby, we were invited to visit their home in advance, they showed us around and served us a wonderful lunch. We feel like we have known them forever. Now, Chester, he is a hoot. He is the most loving and demanding boy I have ever met. If he wants attention, he lets you know unequivocally. He was our constant companion whenever we were outside. He is so sweet.
Peggi and Ken’s home is beautiful! It is a farmhouse with an amazing view. The inside is completely refinished and very comfortable, yet retains the charm of the foothills.
The needs of Chester and the needs of your hosts are very minimal and require very little time, aside from petting and scratching Chester. They have provided a very comprehensive welcome guide which includes local contacts, and clear and concise information in the case of an emergency.
If you like to go for hikes, stick your feet in the river, or relax on the deck you must see this house sit.
We already miss the time we spent with Chester and look forward to the opportunity to house-sit there again.

Lisa
Lisa and Joey were warm and welcoming. Their home is very tasteful with wonderful art and tons of books throughout. The view off the deck and from all the rooms is gorgeous. It is a wonderful place to relax. It is also a quick and easy ride right into downtown Portland. Toulouse is a very interesting cat. He doesn't like to be held or petted, but manages to communicate his needs and is quite endearing. He is very handsome and loves getting brushed. This was a very enjoyable sit and we hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.

Cheryl
I had a very relaxing time in the Nook, just what I was looking for
after a very intense year. The cottage was cosy and comfy, the new heating is a real treat. Communication with Cheryl has been easy and straightforward and everything concerning the house and bunny care clearly explained. Making contact ith Cheryl has been easy. Obi and Nova a cute and curious and quite happy in each others company. They don't require a massive amount of work and love little treats and fresh willow to chew on. I am living in Cornwall ,so exploring wasn't high on my priority list but there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, explore the cornish mining history and indulge in a spot of culture or shopping.
Thanks to Cheryl, Nick, Flora, Evan and the bunnies for a sit which left me more regenerated. With all the best wishes to you
