Michele and Christopher looked after our house and pet labrador, Pepper, for just over two weeks in August. We could not have been happier! A wonderfully interesting couple, Michele and Christopher communicated brilliantly from the get-go, arrived as planned, were reliable and self-sufficient during our holiday, kept us updated with photos of their trips with Pepper and when we arrived home, the house was spotless; wine, flowers, a happy dog, mowed lawn... the works! We can thoroughly recommend Michele and Christopher to all others wishing to find a wonderful house-sitter.

Maria
This place was in a great location, Maria was easily reachable through out this sit. Louis and Channel are pretty energetic so be mindful of that. But they are the cutest and sweetest fur babes. Good stay.

Mel&Mark
It was a real pleasure to look after Bertie and in such a lovely, modern, house.

There were plenty of good walks from the front door which both we and Bertie loved. The house is very well equipped. As we had a hot spell whilst we were there we very much appreciated the air conditioning.

The local town of Braintree had all the shops and facilities that one might be looking for. We had meals at both The Compasses and The Swan which are highly recommended. The village of Finchingfield is so typical of an English village with its country cottages, a great pub, a village green and a duck pond. The Greedy Duck is a welcoming cafe and tea room which is good for a light lunch.

We had a warm welcome when we arrived and Mel spent some time over a walk with Bertie telling us all that we needed to know and answered any questions we had. On occasion we sent a WhatsApp to Mel and Mark whilst they were away and we always received a prompt response.

We enjoyed our experience and would recommend a sit with Mel, Mark and Bertie to anybody who is considering it.

Jen
Wonderful place to stay! Hazel & Gray are the sweetest things (although Hazel can be a bit sassy at times). Communication with Jen was great, location was wonderful, house was beautiful, and the views of Tahoe were unbeatable! Great place to stay for some pine tree therapy & stunning sunsets & sunrises over the lake. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Susan
We had a lovely time in Brisbane looking after Sunny, who is an absolute sweetheart.

Susan and Tony were very kind and welcoming. Their house is super nice, in a quiet leafy area of Brisbane. You can get the bus to the centre of Brisbane pretty easily, and they have a nice bushwalk really close to the house which is perfect for Sunny’s walks.

We mainly spent the week catching up with some work and admin which was perfect as it meant lots of time with Sunny. She is shy to start with but after about a day she really warms up to you… she is like a teddy bear! Mostly she just likes to snuggle up next to you on the sofa but she can be quite playful too.

I’d recommend this stay without hesitation and we are really missing Sunny already.

Lorelei
What a special time spent at Lorelei's gorgeous home! I felt immediately welcomed and enjoyed so much the company of Soleil, a very handsome orange kitty. He is surely an adorable companion, full of youth energy and so much fun to be around. We have spent hours playing and I experienced the most fascinating jumpers you can find in the cats' world! After some hard play, it was so special to have him laying fully stretched next to me on the couch, showing his belly and purring in gratitude, trust and happiness. Lorelei and her husband Robert are very gracious and generous hosts and I've appreciated a lot sharing stories with them. Their home is super cozy, bright and decorated with extremely good taste, in a very quiet part of town with easy access to many trails. It was a second sit experience in Ladner which is a wonderful and cute little town and a paradise when you love birdwatching in marshes and long walks or cycling along the pretty river. Thanks again for everything and looking forward to keep in touch!

Ashlee
I loved sitting for Ashlee. The house is very comfortable. I slept well and the kitchen is fantastic, well equipped. Ashlee is well organized as is the home. Loved the smart lights, the huge TV and keyless entry. Very easy home to care for. The area is lovely! Very safe, quiet, easy to get to freeways, shopping malls and restaurants. Gizmo and Rocky!! Very lovable and gentle dogs. Lots of kisses. So much fun for me. They loved their walks and snuggles. I let them sleep with me and morning snuggles are the best. They definitely like to be near you which was fine with me. I really loved them and hated to leave them. I recommend the sit and perhaps I will be asked to come back.
