Kristi was a wonderful pet-sitter during our recent visit to Canada. She spent some much needed time outside with our two dogs as we have had what seems like months of rain. She wiped off their muddy paws after they were outside and she enjoyed some snuggle time on the sofa on a lazy Sunday afternoon. We texted Kristi upon our arrival to let her we had landed safely back in Atlanta so she could head back to her home. The house was clean, just as e had left it, and she left a note with a quick update on our fur babies. I would definitely recommend Kristi and would love to have her per-sit for us again!
We were so happy to go away and leave our home (Jimmy included) in Erin's safe and confident hands. She's brilliant - very attentive, generous, friendly and well-organised. Erin worked from home while we were away, so Jimmy had lots of company. He was a very calm and happy cat when we got home and the flat was super tidy. Erin thinks of everything - she even picked up some emergency groceries to come home to which was a life saver after a long flight. We'll definitely keep in touch with Erin and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any future sits!
It was a pleasure to house sit for Henny and Tom in their beautiful, immaculate home and care for Sibby and Elsie, both one year old kittens. They were easy to look after and loved attention. The whole process ran very smoothly from an initial video call to arrangements via whatsapp. Henny prepared a welcome pack which explained all I needed to know in advance of an orientation tour on arrival. The location is ideal for visiting Henley, Marlow and Cliveden (National Trust). The choice of restaurants is endless, especially next door to the Chinese!!! Thank you Henny for your lovely gifts and kindness. I would be very happy to house sit for you again. Highly recommended.
Bex was a wonderful host who takes excellent care of her home. Right off the bat we received a very warm welcome! Bex chatted us through all of Tank’s requirements and even went out of her way to provide a lovely food basket for our stay. She really goes above and beyond, making sure we were settled in. Tank was an absolute delight to take care of as well. He listed and responded to all of his commands. He has an excellent routine which made walks and feeding time terrific. Above all he is a sweet heart, with a fun and really friendly personality. Giving lots of cuddles on the couch and being our little shadow in the day. We highly recommend Tank to all future sitters!
We had a wonderful sit at Marianne's place with her three adorable cats. Marianne left us excellent instructions and everything that was needed was on hand, to make sure the cats were happy and comfortable. They are very easy to look after, Jamie is very playful, Jackson was initially timid but very sweet and looked for cuddles, Emme is independent and intelligent, often looking for a way outside.There are lots of cat toys to keep them all amused and we enjoyed playing with cats. The house is really comfortable and Marianne was a generous and welcoming host, very easy to communicate with. The area is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful beaches, very accessible to Providence, Newport etc.. Westerly is a lovely town, with interesting shops and a host of good restaurants. If you get the chance to sit for these adorable cats don't hesitate we'd highly recommend it - thanks so much Marianne. Hope to see you again !
I had a wonderful stay at Philippe's caring for his sweet cat, Waldo. Phil's home is beautiful and spacious and in a vibrant but also peaceful area. Phil and I met before his trip and he had all details of home and pet care thoughtfully organized for me. We communicated regularly during my stay and Phil was always quick to respond. I feel very lucky to have met Phil and Waldo and I hope I can return again soon. Merci beaucoup!
Maeby was a pleasure to look after! She was immediately friendly and affectionate when we met and adjusted very quickly to having me around. She has plenty of puppy energy but is easy to distract with a toy or chew if you need to get work done. Amelia had recommended taking her to Riverdale Park (10 minute walk) to get some exercise, which she loved! She is very social with other dogs and people and loves to run and chase, though her recall is very good if you have treats for her! She also really enjoys snuggling on the couch, and in the bed in the morning. As hosts, Amelia and Nate were kind enough to meet with me over Zoom before the sit and left detailed instructions on Maeby's routine and needs which made the sit very straightforward. Nate also met me at the apartment so I could be introduced to Maeby, which definitely helped reduce her anxiety at being with a new person. I'd highly recommend sitting for Amelia and Nathan if you have the opposite, and I'm looking forward to my next sit with Maeby!
We had such a great time in Amsterdam looking after Tikka and Maki. Caroline and her family were super accommodating and very welcoming when we arrived. Tikka and Maki were fun to look after, always keeping us entertained and are really low maintenance around the house. Maki was a bit shy and took longer to warm up, but was very playful once he did! Their house is in such a nice location within walking distance to lots of shops, bars and restaurants, as well as the city centre. The house itself is amazing and has everything a sitter could ask for. We really recommend applying for Caroline’s sit with Tikka and Maki!
