This is a wonderful sit in the Skagit Valley about a 20 minute drive from Sedro-Woolley. Their home is beautiful and comfortable, and their waterfront property is gorgeous. Al is a vibrant active two year old who has the cutest expressions and meow. Once he got to know me, he would love cuddles and petting in the morning and evening. Sweet Eddie is older and mellow. He would occasionally rub his neck on my feet or come up to me for a head and neck scratch. Both had excellent litter box habits. Watering the garden and some outdoor areas was easy given their sprinkler. Communication before and during the sit was clear and prompt. Gretchen provided an expanded printed out Welcome Guide that was quite helpful. She also had a well-organized file box of tourist information, maps, and a wonderful hiking guide. I was able to do day trips to the North Cascades National Park, Skagit Land Trust, Little Mountain Park, Rockport State Park and the Baker Lake area in addition to the cute town of Mount Vernon. 5b's Bakery & Eatery in Concrete is exceptional and worth a stop. Thank you so much Gretchen, Phil, Eddie and Al. I highly recommend this sit!
Michelle and Simon were so welcoming and accommodating. They made sure I felt at home and that my stay would be as pleasant as possible. They also gave me all the information i needed in order to take good care of the pets. Villanelle was a charm to spend time with. She's such an amazing, sweet and intelligent pup! Viola is an amazing kitty, who loves to cuddle and spend time with you. She has the most adorable personality and really is a charm to look after.
Our sit for Eibhilin and Bill was great! We had a wonderful time with Pablo and Blu; doing walks, spoil them with treats and just being around. They love to be lazy next to you while you work or relax, and if you need to get out of the house for a minute you will be greeted like you have been gone for a year. From the moment we stepped in Bill and Eibhilin treated us like friends, which gave us a great feeling to watch their house.
Yolanda is very sweet and helpful, always a text away. Ex: It was cold in the night so I reached out for an extra blanket and she simply changed the temperature from her phone! Chase is so calm and loves to lounge. His personality shines through, it’s so funny he knows his walking route and likes to Stick to it! Her house is beautiful and spotless; as well as secure. I felt very safe during my stay! It’s near many restaurants, very walkable and if you’re a homebody she has a hammock and swings on her porch, during sunset it’s the spot to be. Overall couldn’t recommend more!⭐️
Everything went pretty smoothly. The home is located in a nice residential area near a park and walking paths. Home was very clean. Parker is easy to manage and friendly, you just need to keep an eye out for other dogs which is well explained.
It is pure joy taking care of Shasta and Sierra and house sitting at Michelle’s. The animals are sweet healers and being at Michelle’s beautiful home is like being on a vacation. You are walking distance from grocery stores, restaurants, parks and downtown Mill Valley yet it is quiet and peaceful. Deer may just come and visit too. Absolutely glorious and a must!

Four acres is the only place that we would ever send our collie to. we know that he is being looked after and is always excited to go. The staff are all really friendly and genuinely care about the dogs. The picture speaks for its self.
We take our dogs here to hire the field as one isn't good with other dogs, they guarantee no other dogs come in to contact with them. We have been a number of times and feel very secure in the knowledge that this is the case. The field is very clean with plenty for them to do for the hour. Staff are fantastic. Our dogs absolutely love it.

I can’t really tell you the devastation my wife and I and the whole family feel right now about the sad lose of our Bichon Frise ‘Maisy’. Leah from Doggy Day Care came round to our apartment with the most beautiful white lilies, which are my wife’s favourite flowers. She gave us a card and explained how sorry they were because they loved her as well. These people are real dog lovers and I’d urge anyone with a dog to trust in the care and love they give your dogs.Thank you so much for you kind consideration at this time for us,it will not be forgotten, all our love to the whole team who cared and looked after our little girl. Best doggy day care I've been to. Fantastic facilities and great staff who clearly love the dogs. I feel happy leaving my dog with them knowing she will be well looked after. Can't recommend highly enough.
My dog is a "high maintenance" GSP and isn't the easiest to manage, needing firm and consistent training, to prevent him trying to push the boundaries. If I am honest, it's probably as much my fault as anything else, giving him too much free rein, particularly over the pandemic! Kelly and Adrian run a truly professional outfit and they really care about dogs under their care. They have been prepared to work with my dog rather than reject him for any bad behaviour. I am truly grateful for their approach and for them taking the time and making the effort to help. These guys are the real deal. Highly recommended!
My dog went here after I had injury and couldn't walk him. I went after being recommended. He went 3 times a week initially. He now goes 2-4 times a month regardless as he loves it there. Upon arrival he can't wait to get out and runs wagging his tail towards either of the owners or workers. When I collect he reluctantly gets in the car. He is a large dog a mastiff and he mixes well with all dogs there from tiny and furry to big and bouncy. Extremely well managed. He comes back absolutely knackered and eats and sleeps till next morning. They have enourmous fields and inside area and everywhere is so clean and cared for. Lots of activities and every dog celebrates his birthday whilst there with things like hunt the sausage, halloween was Bob apple and some dogs actually took part in the actual task. The owners are extremely helpful, genuine and really care about dogs. If my dog could talk he'd tell you himself. He loves it there.
My boys, Teddy & Rocky also known as (The Krays) have been going to Four Acres since they opened and i have to say they absolutely love it. The staff work so hard in keeping the dogs entertained all day, the build proper relationships with your dogs. They don't just stick them in a field and leave them to it like a lot of Doggy Day Care places do. The staff are very friendly and you will be pushed to find and outdoor and indoor facility like they have. My dogs come home at night and they are whacked out, that is them done and sleeping for the night. Huge well done to the whole Team @ Four Acres. Also to add to this, Kelly does a fantastic job with dog grooming, she really does do an amazing job and is very passionate about her job.
Emma is absolutely amazing. She has looked after both my dogs since they were puppies and they love her! They always want to go to Emma’s, they are excited to get out of the car and she is fantastic with them. They’ve stayed for a weeks holiday as well as for day care and I never worry about them when they are with her. I’d recommend her without any hesitation.
We have used Emma since March this year when my 2 pugs first stayed for 5 nights. We then have used for other holidays and they go to the doggy day care weekly! Emma is amazing with them, and we always receive updates including pictures. There treated just like one of the family, Bailey and Luna absolutely love going and nothing is to much trouble for her. I can’t praise Emma enough for looking after my Labrador, Bonnie while we were away on holiday. She was so kind with my super sensitive dog who has separation anxiety, and to my delight, Bonnie quickly settled in and enjoyed the company of Emma’s own dogs. Emma provided regular updates and photos of Bonnie’s stay which help to put our minds at ease . We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing that our precious dog was being so well looked after. We were so grateful to Emma and Bonnie obviously really enjoyed her stay.

Emma is always good at communication and keeping us updated with what's happening. Our old dog Gengis (16) always seems to come back with a new lease of life after visiting Furry Chums. Our younger dog Bobby, who's a bit of a live wire, is looked after brilliantly too despite being hard work! Would definitely recommend here for your dogs
Absolutely everything about Furry Chums is excellent. Emma is so loving towards all of the animals she looks after and my Dog never wants to leave when i go to pick him up, because he has obviously had such a good time. It’s a real home from home for him and i wouldn’t dream of placing him anywhere else - a complete peace of mind knowing he is well looked after. Thank you for being such a caring and helpful person x

Emma takes fabulous care of my two French bulldogs-both dog walking and taking care of them at her house whilst we are away on holiday-we wouldn’t trust anybody else. She is reliable, friendly and fantastic with dogs!

Always very welcoming our cats don't seem distressed in any way on their arrival or departure. Basic amenities compared to some maybe but the facilities are what I expect. Good value accommodation.
Really good kennels and cattery. Can highly recommend. We have used them for years for all our dogs and cat. They look after the animals realy well. Keep you updated with pics about their antics on the field.
My 2 elderley cats have spent 3 weeks with Alan & Alison first time in a cattery for both. I picked them up today and they were fine.. Got home & back into their routine thank you for looking after them both I’m truly grateful X

My Black Labrador Rocco has been coming to Reed House Farm since he was a puppy, (he is nearly 9 now) and I can't recommend Alan and Allison enough. He has always been happy to go and I can tell he is always well looked after when I go to pick him up. You can tell that they really care for the animals they look after. I wouldn't take him anywhere else and would definitely recommend if you are looking for a kennel.
Our GSD and little shitzu have just come back after a 5 night stay at the kennels.(To be honest we very rarely put the dogs in kennels as 1 of us is always home,but we were all away in Tunisia for my daughters wedding. )Alan came and collected the dogs and seeing their reaction to him,I knew straight away they were being left in good hands.Nikki who walked the dogs sent us pics and videos both dogs looked extremely happy and were obviously enjoying their stay.We paid a little extra for our GSD to have the longer walks on the days she was there and it was well worth it.Both dogs came home looking totally relaxed.No signs of separation anxiety from our GSD. (Which was a huge relief).Reed House will be the only kennels we use now ( if needed ) The staff are amazing,nothing is too much trouble for them .The kennels are spacious and well maintained.I honestly cannot recommend them enough.Definately 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A huge Thank-you to all the staff x
Been taking my dogs here for years. Lovely people and when one of our dogs (with separation anxiety) wouldn’t eat they bought and cooked chicken for him. Inevitable that some animals will fret no matter how good the kennels are - and these are good.
Both my cat and now my dog stay at Reed House. We have used Reed House for our cat for 6 years. Prior to using Reed House we had tried two other kennels and it was clear when picking our cat up that he was distressed and upset. From the first time at Reed House you could tell the difference. When we picked up he was relaxed and calm When we got him home he just carried on like he had never been away. When we got our puppy he was quite nervous. Reed House we’re really good at gently getting him used to staying in kennels. Now he is much more settled and relaxed when we take him. Reed House is run by lovely people who really care about and know animals. I have recommended them to a number of my friends with pet and all have said how happy there pets were after staying.
Please do not allow your pets to stay here. We wish someone had warned us. Our pup (only 6 1/2 months old) went in a healthy, happy, thriving pup. Our fur baby deserved care and love yet he came out skin & bone, filthy, smelly and sad. He lost so much weight in the 2 weeks he was in (even though we sent him with his own food and was told he was eating everything), he lost all of his muscle and was covered in a smelly waxy grime on return to us. We are truly and utterly heartbroken. You put your trust into these people to look after your fur babies. It looks like he was barely fed and never walked. We called several times to check he was ok only to be told that he was fine, eating everything and no problem at all - all lies. We asked for pictures but they were never forthcoming, all makes sense now. They also make you pay in full before you see the condition of your pet.
Really positive experience using the kennels. It was the first time we’ve left our dogs and we felt so at ease. Paula is lovely with the dogs and you can see how much they love her! My three would have happily stayed longer, they didn’t want to come home! The dogs were socialised and exercised regularly and pictures were posted on social media which was so nice to see while we were away. Paula replied to my messages straight away when I wanted to check how they were doing. I’d 100% recommend and would love to use the kennels again in future. Thank you Paula and the team!
Absolutely fantastic kennels. This is a sociable kennels so your dog will be exercised every day. We've tried many kennels in the area before finding Talbot and we feel so comfortable leaving our doggies here. Other kennel owners feel very distant when discussing our dogs but Paula and Millie are so connected with them it's fantastic. They're also lovely people and the kennel is in a beautiful settings on the Moss. We sometimes go on month long holidays and we get constant updates, photos and videos from the Talbot team which is a great touch and puts our mind at ease. Best kennels in the area!
Would not take our dogs anywhere else. Paula is fantastic with our fur babies and they love going to stay with her. Paula ensures that they get lots of playtime which many kennels don't, and they get to socialise with dogs of a similar temperament. She also caters to different diets eg. Raw. We feel our dogs are completely safe with Paula.
Left my pup, Maggie, here for the second time and couldn’t be happier! I wouldn’t want her to stay anywhere else! The kennels are clean, the staff truly do take brilliant care of the dogs, giving them attention and affection throughout their stay, you can really see how much they care about the dogs they are taking care of. I love the fact that these kennels are social, it really put my mind at ease knowing my pup was out playing multiple times a day as she loves the company of other dogs! The facebook and whatsapp updates really do give you peace of mind and Paula & Millie are both so lovely and helpful! I couldn’t recommend Talbot Pet Boarding more!! 10/10, don’t hesitate about booking your pups stay here!!
Highly recommend these kennels. I have an elderly pug and a young boxer who both enjoy their stay here. I like that they are let out to play with other dogs at least twice a day which I feel is important to the dogs mental health. They are always happy when dropped off and when they are collected. Paula and her staff are friendly and helpful.
Was worried about leaving our dog in a kennels for the first time but meeting Paula the owner when we got there put us completely at ease as she was lovely. The kennels were clean and it’s lovely that the dogs get to play together (obviously with the owners consent). This is something that made us choose this kennels over the many other ones in the area. We even got sent some pictures of him playing and he seemed to be having a ball! Will definitely use these kennels again and found the price to be quite reasonable for an over night stay. We boarded our 2 fur babies with Paula for 2 weeks, this was their 2nd visit. I wouldn’t put them anywhere else. The boarding kennels are always clean and tidy smelling fresh. Our dogs were very happy, great to see updates on Facebook, Paula treats them like her own he love for the dogs goes along way!! Thanks again Paula already booked for next year xx
Great service, Paula's a lovely person who I feel takes great care of my dog. Its a bit far out of the way for us to travel to, but with the quality of boarding and price, we're are more than happy to go the extra few miles as we know our dog is being taken care of and we can enjoy our holidays without the doubt of if the dogs okay or not. She uploads plenty of pics to Facebook and is by far the best place for boarding a dog we've ever seen. We will definitely be using talbot pet boarding again. I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my dog anywhere else. We're already booked in for next time. 5*. Edit: Another stay for our dog Ted. Once again we felt happy and reassured to leave him with Paula. Great pet boarding. Lovely people. Clean and tidy and our dog always comes home happier than when he left to go to kennels. 100% would recommend to anybody worried about leaving their pet while they go on holiday. Paula is lovely and it's just everything you'd expect and more. 5*

I have know Nick for over 10 years and he used to walk my dogs and they would stay at Meadowcroft!! They jump out the car in excitement and never want to leave. I wouldn’t trust my dogs with many but I know they are safe and very happy!!! Oh the stories they tell when they get home :-)) 🐕🐕🐕

Hare to Hound have been the perfect place for my bunnies to spend their vacations. They provide photos and updates so you can rest easy that your fluffy ones are being well looked after. They offer a really personal touch and I would never hesitate to board my bunnies with them
Left my bunny for the first time (almost 5) & I was incredibly nervous. Shannon was great allowing me to bring things from home such as her blankets and toys, and sending me updates & photos daily. I also paid for an additional nail clip which was incredibly handy & saved me an additional trip to the vet. Will be booking again.
Excellent boarding service for rabbits. I was able to relax on holiday knowing my rabbits were well taken care of and I was sent updates of my rabbits while I was away. They were very accommodating by allowing me to add some home comforts in the rabbits pen to make them feel more at home. They even provide a nail trim service. I would definitely recommend Paw Pet Care.
Courtney and Shannon have walked my rescue dog Ralph multiple days a week for 15 months now. When we first rescued him he was a nervous wreck but Courtney and Shannon showed endless patience and love for him so that it wasn’t long before Ralph grew to be excited for his walks. They’ve also been super helpful in supporting us with training his recall on walks and have taken some beautiful pictures along the way. I trust them 100% and Ralph absolutely loves them both, so much so that he waits by the door until they come for him. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Paws Pet Care to anyone 😊

What a lovely place! My lil staffy 'Buffy' went to stay for 2 nights and came back with this smile on her face!! She had never stayed anywhere before and the owners were really friendly & attentive to her needs, the kennels themselves were nice and clean & I loved the fact that she couldn't see the other dogs as she is quite nervous / reactive to confrontation. Definitely recommend to everyone wanting to have their furbaby go on a staycation & will certainly be wanting to take her again 😊
We went for an hour in the agility room to tire Samson out on a very rainy day. The room is really well set up, spacious and all Covid best practices are in place. Samson can be a bit of a wuss but he soon got the hang of the equipment and he was alseep in the car before we even got back on the main road. The equipment is height adjustable, there is a good variety and everything was really clean. They're really friendly and open week days and weekends, you can call and book a slot. Really recommend it!
First time using a kennels and so happy. Was really nervous as our young collie can resource guard and be lead reactive. From the get go Vicky made us feel so comfortable and confident with their abilities, they clearly know dogs and the quirks of each breed. In the weeks running up we hired the agility centre to get our dog used to the place and smells- great facility! Then we left him for 3 nights with no problems. Really appreciated the picture and video updates after booking him in to the agility centre for his stay - the staff were really interactive with him. We picked him up he was happy, looked well looked after and there’d been no issues. He’s now back home fast asleep after his holiday. Really impressed and will be using again.

My Cockerpoo Rudy loved his first stay. He was well cared for and I could tell when he returned home that he was happy and it hadn't bothered him at all like I thought it would. My previous dogs used to come home from other kennels smelling of them but Rudy came home clean and didn't smell at all. I would definitely recommend this professional kennels run by good people and would use them again without a doubt .
Our 2 dogs are always very well looked after. Staff are very caring and really get to know the dogs in their care. We have used other kennels in the past but wouldn't use anywhere else now.
My cat Denise has been staying with Beseeka since she was a kitten and always comes home happy and well looked after.
First time for Dino at Beseeka Kennel - he came home happy and well looked after. He loved his agility training and we have photographs of him enjoying himself. The staff here are great, the kennels spotless and a generous size. Much to my great regret, the dog literally runs in tail wagging, like its not breaking his heart to be left there. Unlike me, guess what I'm thinking. Trust this place so much, wouldn't leave him anywhere else.
I have used Lynn and the services of Barking Mad for my young Cockapoo, on a few occasions. I have found the service brilliant from start to finish. Lynn is such a lovely lady and is clearly passionate about dogs. I have great peace of mind leaving my fur baby while I am away. I will continue to use Lynn and the Barking mad service in the future.
Lynn provides a very high level of service from start to finish which put our minds at rest when we first met. Our energetic Labrador Hudson has a great time on his holidays with his host family! We love seeing the photos of him having fun and getting his 'postcard' when he comes back home is always a nice read! I thoroughly recommend Barking Mad.
I couldn’t be happier with this service, we needed someone to look after our mini schnauzer over our wedding, and anyone we Trusted to look after her for out of our friends and family were invited guests! I looked on the Internet and found this service, and then met with Lynn. She asked us questions about Buffy getting to know what her likes and dislikes were what she was and wasn’t allowed to do. She then went away and matched her up with a lovely couple who looked after her on our big day. We got regular updates about how she was getting on with photos included, and when she came back to us she (the dog, not Lynn!) came back with a postcard picture of herself with a lovely message from me couple that looked after her, telling us about all the shenanigans she got up to. She was happy to be back, but absolutely knackered and she clearly had a good time. I would definitely use this service again if she needed a break from us! As far as I can tell, about the same price as a kennels but she was in a loving home and got all the attention she could want, something that was really important to us. Lynn was lovely to deal with and I’d recommend this to anybody.
Myself and the kiddies love being a host family. We have had some fabulous dogs come and stay with us and have so much fun. Lynn makes the whole experience so easy and always places suitable doggies with us. Looking forward to more adventures with our furry friends x

Maisie clearly had a fantastic time and was really happy and well cared for and we really appreciated receiving the texts and photos so could see she was having fun. Thank you to Anne for looking after her so well. We will definitely use this service again and recommend to others!
I have used Lynn on numerous occasions for my dog who is great with people but nervous around other dogs and she has placed her with brilliant caring families and updated me all the time. Would highly recommend to anyone as you will be in safe hands !
Belle was eager to jump into Lynn’s car, she had a lovely time with her host family and I enjoyed myself knowing that she would be well looked after.
Rolo came back a happy dog, not certain he was happy with us.
