Julia and Andrew
Had a great sit with Archie and Chloe, two gorgeous Rhodesian ridgebacks in their beautiful home in the Sussex countryside.
Julia and Andrew were both very warm and welcoming with dinner for us on arrival and also the night before we left, such a lovely family to spend time with.
We had good conversation throughout and they left us lots of maps and information on local walks and places to visit.
Their home is in the countryside so a car is advisable to be able to explore the many attractions roundabout and enjoy walks in the South Downs and quaint wee villages.
Archie and Chloe though were the stars of the sit. Such lovable mutts who were happy to do anything or go anywhere and were always so well behaved. They walked us miles, showed us lots of amazing countryside and finished the days with cuddles on the couch. Just perfect.
If you get the chance to sit here snap it up, you won’t be disappointed.

Clare
We both thoroughly enjoyed our time at Clare and Garrys. Their home is beautiful, serene and peaceful. We came away feeling more relaxed than when we arrived!

We visited a week before and Clare gave us a thorough tour and made sure we felt welcomed and at home. We were also made aware of all inportabt information and the welcome pack covered everything necessary. Clare and Garry were both so kind to get us a couple welcome gifts, including an egg from the emus!

All of the animals were fantastic. This was our first time looking after stable/farm animals and it went smoothly. The instructions were clear and we didn’t feel out of our depth. Four dogs may seem a lot but theyre all so well-behaved and happy to be in your company. There were no issues, and we truly loved getting to know all of them over the week we stayed. We got quite attached to all of them and will miss them.

We would sit again in a heartbeat!

Sarah
We had such a lovely time, sitting for Lolly.
When we arrived, we had a really warm welcome from both Sarah and Lolly!
Sarah left us with clear instructions, along with a written manual, outlining everything we needed to know about caring for Lolly, and information about local attractions and walks in the area.
Lolly is a joy to look after. He has a gentle nature, with excellent recall off the lead. He got on fabulously with our Sprockerdor, Murphy, and settled with us really quickly.
Swanmore is great for anyone who loves walking. There are an abundance of walking routes all around it.
On our last day, we met John, who was as equally warm and friendly as Sarah.
Their home is just beautiful and cosy, with the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Their garden is a haven for wild birds and I was mesmerised by the variety that visited the feeders.
We would love to sit again.
Thank you, John and Sarah, for choosing us.

Alicja
We had a wonderful time at Alicja's beautiful house in the Dordogne countryside. The cats are both delightful, we fell in love with them whilst we were there and were sad to leave - they are sweet and cuddly but also happy to do their own thing & play together. They have an automatic toilet, which saved us a lot of work.
Alicja was friendly, helpful and communicative throughout; she gave us a detailed tour of the house and was always available for any questions. She even went above and beyond, picking us up from Angoulême on arrival.
The area is quite isolated and it's definitely recommended to have a car (this was communicated to us in advance) - we didn't, but still had a great time and were able to visit some nearby places with the one bus that leaves in the early morning from the village. Also, if you love walking, this place is perfect for you!
We were able to order groceries to be delivered and get some supplies from the (very good) baker and butcher in the village. Alicja lent us her bikes, which also helped.
All in all, a wonderful time spent far away from the city, we would definitely come back again. Thank you, Alicja!

MARGARET
Margie was an excellent host, communicated the requirements very well, the home was clean and comfortable. The home in a beautiful location, a bit isolated, but very peaceful.
Kahlua is a sweet dog, but likes to be left to himself. Easy to care of if you just let him be alone.
I would highly recommend this sit to anyone.

Raelyn
I loved sitting for Raelyn, watching ekmek, tikka and Bud was a pleasure. They can all be very playful at times and at other times are just happy to cuddle and watch a show or take it easy. Raelyn was great at communicating while out of town as well!
