Bronwyn Rogers
We spent over two weeks in an historic Tacoma neighborhood lined with trees and architecturally stunning houses. Bronwyn and Tom’s comfortable home was conveniently located near many amenities including a variety of restaurants, golf courses, and tons of arts and recreational activities. Our mainstay is hiking and Pickleball, and we were able to indulge in both. Equally lovely is their secluded backyard, soaking tub, and lush vegetable garden. Everything was on a watering system. The potted flowers were in peak bloom, and we enjoyed ripe strawberries, raspberries, and plums!

Ruger is a very sweet (and soft) Boykin Spaniel that loves being with people. He’s an easy, low-key dog. He was eager to go through the gate for his daily walks. The cats had very distinct personalities with Nugget most often keeping to himself and Waffles seeking out scratches and cuddles. They were very easy to care for.

We were able to meet with our hosts in advance of their departure to learn the pet routines and get a lay of the home and neighborhood. They were very gracious hosts and left us with everything we needed to be comfortable. We would absolutely return to care for Ruger, Waffles, and Nugget anytime!
