Eric was super communicative from the start and made sure I had all the information I needed to feel comfortable at his house with his pets while he was gone. Bert and Ethel were great work from home companions, they are just the sweetest loving dogs, my home office days have not been same without them!
I stayed here over Christmas looking after the iconic Gigi. Laura made me feel so at home and very comfortable in her home. She left me multiple guides on how to look after Gigi and information about the house. It was all very well thought out. Gigi is an amazing cat, lots of personality and a little spicy at times but overall she was very very good. The location is really incredible, right near Brighton station and anywhere you would like to go in Brighton. I would stay here anytime Laura would have me!
Leo and Heidi were the sweetest, most precious pups. We spent a week with them in July and got our cuddle tank filled. They are both well behaved, very relaxed, and so friendly. Heidi is a bit more spritely than Leo, since she’s younger but Leo is definitely the responsible older brother. They both just wanted to be near us when we were up and around but were content with chilling in the same room with us when we just wanted some movie time. Suzanne’s home was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the large kitchen island and huge tv, especially since it was really hot while we were there so we spent a lot of time inside. Her home is newly built so appliances and everything else were in great condition. The bedroom we stayed in was the guest bedroom, so a bit smaller than the master bedroom pictured in the listing, but the mattress is brand new. The yard is lush and there’s a shady patio and another outdoor space for when it’s nice out. Suzanne was very communicative and generous. She helped us feel right at home. Evansville is only about 20 mins from the house and had everything we needed. We enjoyed some great restaurants and shops downtown and we found the area quaint and quiet. We would absolutely recommend Suzanne’s home and Leo & Heidi if you’re looking for a low maintenance sit away from the hustle and bustle with the sweetest companions.
If you ever only ever house/pet sit once, you need to go to Kathy & Andrew’s. Beautiful location close to a lovely small town with great amenities & friendly people. Kathy & Andrew are the most generous & welcoming people. Teddy & Charlie are the most loving & gentle pets you could want. It was an absolute pleasure sitting & would recommend it to anybody. We had hours walking in beautiful countryside & watching a wide variety of wildlife from the lounge window. We will not hesitate to return if invited .
Crystal was extremely welcoming and thoughtful and gave me all the information I needed to care for Mia. Mia is a very energetic dog, but also very sweet, cuddly and eager to please! The backyard is relaxing, the apartment is cozy and neat, and the neighborhood is really interesting, with tons of food options and easy access to the train. It was a fun sit!
Josie was a wonderful companion! Well trained pup, good listener, easy walks, and loves to play ball! Mel and Karen had great instructions and house was very organized and clean. Made for an awesome sit! Highly recommend
