Sitting for Anne and Nat was wonderful! We adore Rhino and Daisy, and the chickens were very sweet and fun to take care of. They produced delicious eggs. The guest room we stayed it was very comfortable and spacious, and we are thankful to their son for letting our little one play with his toys. He has a blast with all the toy cars and legos. As for Ambérieu-en-Bugey, it was a very pretty town that was very fun to explore and we even went fossil hunting!
Poppy has a very gentle nature and takes her medication very well, which is a huge help. Grace is very talkative and responsive, once she gets to know you. I really enjoyed my stay in Old Windsor. Marilyn and David are great hosts and they made me feel so welcome with a lovely supper,dessert and a comfortable bed in their warm home. I am grateful to have met them and I was fortunate to meet some of their family as well, which helped me feel like part of the community. I would highly recommend this pet sit , especially if you have compassion for an animal that is needing medication. I would happily return should the opportunity arise and I am free.
We had an outstanding time sitting for Tim! He was a fabulous host, the house is very well kept, and the cats are good company. The house is on a nice, quiet street not far from one of Brighton's best parks, and there are a number of pubs and grocery stores within easy walking distance. We got along very well with Tim, and he very thoughtfully introduced us to all that Brighton has to offer. Communication was excellent throughout the sit. Gary, Louie, and Dobby are sweet older cats that warmed up to us quickly and were a pleasure to care for. We enthusiastically recommend this sit!
Robin’s place is more of an experience than your typical sit. She had me over prior to the sit to show me the routine of her animals which include 3 cats, 8 chickens, 5 rabbits and a pond full of fish all nestled on acreage in the middle of a redwood forest. To describe the setting as magical is an understatement! Robin had a thorough checklist for the property and animals as to make this a foolproof sit. The house is very comfortable and easy to maintain. The home runs cold since it’s in the forest but they have plenty of chopped firewood and wood stoves in every room. It made for a very cozy time! The hot tub is a bonus on the cooler days. The day before we arrived, Robin contacted me to inform me that one of the cats had fallen pretty ill and was going to require fairly constant care so we were prepared when we arrived. The good news is we have medical backgrounds so are very comfortable in these settings. When we arrived, Robin had already departed but left detail instructions for Hazelnut, the sick kitty, and emergency authorization should we need it. Plus a generous amount of welcome goodies for which we were incredibly grateful! Robin and I stayed in close contact about Hazelnut’s health and we did end up taking her to the vet but she was definitely on the road to recovery by the time Robin got home for which we were all elated! There was never a moment that we did not feel really appreciated. Robin made sure to tell us frequently. I feel like we bonded over all of this and that we will stay in touch and hopefully stay there again on our travels. Robin really knows how to take care of people and our hard work did not go unnoticed. We loved caring for her menagerie of animals!! Cashew and Inky, the other kitties, kept us thoroughly entertained and were constant companions while doing chores around the property. The chickens are fun and easy to care for plus they repay you in fresh eggs - YUM!! The rabbits are also easy to care for but I really wanted to pet them and they weren’t having it until the last day when they realized I was their friend :-). The fish are super easy with just giving them a few handfuls of food each morning. The chores took about an hour but we took longer just because we enjoyed hanging out with the animals. All this to say: if you are looking for a small farm animal experience set in the middle of a tranquil redwood forest then I highly recommend this sit!! We made some great memories and hope to be back again!
We recently had the pleasure of house and pet sitting for Tanya and Nigel in their lovely house in Saint-Generoux, and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. Tanya and Nigel were loving and kind, making us feel welcomed and appreciated from the start. Their house is beautiful, adorned with stunning art and surrounded by inspiring scenery in the French countryside and on top of it all, there is a beautiful river in front of the house. We were truly grateful to have had this opportunity and cherished every moment spent with Bramble and Fearnly, their delightful dogs. Bramble was shy at the beginning but then she was really playful and fun. Fearnly is a big, old and noble companion. It was a wonderful stay, and we would be more than happy to do it again in the future. Thank you Tanya, Nigel, Bramble and Fearnly for your trust and kindness.
We loved our sit! Apollo is an adorable, affectionate and calm dog. For his young age, he's a very easy dog to take care of, and when out, he's a good walker for long walks or hikes. One of the best dogs we've ever met, we will miss him! Momo, on the other hand, is an independent cat who likes to be left alone, but still enjoys a few cuddles. You have to go slowly with her, and once she's confident, she'll ask for more cuddles. Communication with Lindsey and Nick was really easy, the house was perfect and we didn't lack anything. I have been taking my dogs to preppy pet in warminster for over 12 years and have to say this is the best place ever. They treat my dogs like their own and I always feel comfortable leaving them here. I don't think I could take them anywhere else!! I love thay they also do baths, grooming and nails. It's like a one stop shop. I really appreciate that they stay on top of the vaccination records too, we had a bad experience somewhere else before we found preppy pet, so it was a relief. If I could give them zero stars or -0 stars I would customer service is horrible! I called the place yesterday and asked about bringing my dog in today. They told me I could. They emailed me an application and asked me to fill it out with the vaccination records perfect. Was having a lot of trouble with the email and couldn’t get it to send back to them filled out, so I showed up this morning telling them this and the gentleman at the front desk was rude as could be and told me that he needed the application and I said OK that’s fine. I can fill one out now and he said well. You can fill it out now but I can’t let your dog stay?? Why not? Well, I need the application back…… OK well I can fill out the application now the vaccination records I have the vaccination records. I can give them to you while you can’t stay again I ask why not they sent you the application and you need to send it back to us? What? What difference does it make? If I emailed you last night the application or if I filled it out here he’s like well. You can fill it out here. I just can’t let your dog stay… i’m sorry but that’s ridiculous. If you’ve already told me that I can bring my dog in and I have all the necessary records. Why can’t my dog stay because I didn’t email it back to you last night sense to anybody cause it doesn’t make sense to me so they’ve lost a customer, and by the looks of the place, it didn’t look that great anyway my dog has been doggy daycare before and I’ve seen much better places. There was poop out on the sidewalk that nobody bothered to clean up when you first walk in, which is disgusting, it looks old and decrepit, the outside area that I could see didn’t look that much like any fun it’s just a fenced off area. You could hear all the dogs were inside just barking and barking and barking and barking and barking. So glad I didn’t take my dog there….
My dentist told me about this facility and I'm so glad I checked it out. My family and I looked at a few other places but the staff here were so friendly as well as this facility smells and looks clean. Others did not smell so good. My byrdie girl gets so excited once we get close and she wiggles her entire body when we go in and see the staff. She loves going to daycare and playing with her puppy friends. Anytime I have had questions or concerns they are so accommodating. They make me feel good about leaving my baby to play while I work hard lol. Take your pet here, I promise you won't regret it. I am editing a previous post I meant to update sooner. I had taken my dogs here, and not had the best experience. The manager saw my review online contacted me immediately and let me bring my dogs back in. This time they cut them right it was a cute even cut. I'm not sure what was going on with my dog's groomer personally the day before but I didn't appreciate the unprofessionalism that she took out on an animal. However the manager calling me back did make me feel much better and that my dogs were in good hands.
My husband and I have brought our now two year old German Shepherd to Preppy Pet since he was three months old. Hunter goes regularly to day care (approximately 3 times per week) and has stayed overnight multiple times for both long weekends and extended says. It is a great relief to know that our dog is well taken care of and that his specific needs are always met whether we are at work or out of town. The prepay bundles for day care a great and all overnight stays are very reasonably priced. We cannot say enough pleasant things about the facility and everyone who works there. Special thanks to Elaina, Hope, Morgan, Lyndsi, Kiera, and Jackie. Hunter gets super excited every time we pull in the parking lot. We love Preppy Pet and how much they care about our dog.

this was my first time boarding my fur baby. i choose preppy pet because of the good reviews but i am very disappointed.. I was never able to see my pet on the camera.. didn’t receive any pictures of him while he was there. i wasn’t showed were he was staying… To top it off he now has Kennel Cough. Not a good experience.. when i picked him up i was told he developed a cough that same day of pick up… strange
We recently boarded our 2 labs at Preppy Pets after recommendations form our Vet. The communication was great and even though I was a little nervous leaving our dogs there for the first time, they did great. The kennel is clean and they offer group and individual playtime as well. Great service at a reasonable price!
My grandmother lives going there. They are very good with the fur kids from puppy all the way up to seniors.
UPDATE: We spoke with Elaina, the owner, this morning regarding the problem we had with our pup at Preppy Pets on Saturday. She spoke with us about the situation and the confusion that her younger employee had, and that she was going to review the tapes to see where she was at for us. Elaina let us know that her employee told her the same story that he had told us, and that he recognizes he should have been looking to see where our puppy was throughout the day before telling us he didn't know where she was. Elaina sent us over timestamped photos and videos of Honey out in the runs with the other dogs, which has helped us feel so much better and a lot of relief to the discomfort that we had. She was really reassuring in that she understood our panic and was apologetic about the confusion and assured us that the younger employee was going to receive additional training to make sure this doesn't happen again in the future with anyone else. I greatly appreciated that Elaina took the time to make it right by us and reassure us and investigated the situation, even though she had been away for her wedding this weekend. ORIGINAL POST: We took our puppy over to Preppy Pet for the first time today, and we will never be returning. She’s a four and a half month old bernedoodle and she’s still pretty shy and nervous. The person at the desk was highly judgmental that I wanted her to try out group play as I’m working on socializing her and she will get involved as she warms up, and he acted as if we starve her when we said she may not eat the food we packed her because she is nervous and that there is a nutrical supplement to give her if she doesn’t. He seemed upset and like he wanted me to only pay for individual play which is more money. He said he would let her relax for a few minutes in a separate room before putting her in and we were okay with that. We kept checking pet cameras, but Honey never showed up in the few hours we were looking between being at an event with some friends. By 430 we called because no dogs were out anymore and we wanted to make sure she was okay. Turns out they forgot about her in a cage, and didn’t even know who she was. When I questioned why she was in a cage, when I was told it was a cage free facility and I was paying for her to be in a suite, they immediately tried to back track and say they didn’t mean cage. I told them i was coming to pick her up because they forgot about my terrified puppy in a cage for hours…It’s almost like the person at the desk was so mad I wanted her in group play that he took it out on her. I will say the young employee did try to make it right by us because of how upset I was even though there was no making this situation right. He stayed a little late to make sure I could come pick her up early because I had a two hour drive back, and he didn’t make us pay for it. He also had her out and sitting with him on a bed with her pillow waiting for us at the front office. But it still doesn’t take away from the fact that they still forgot about my dog for hours in a cage. We will never be back and I really hope that this review helps others be weary of where they are leaving their pets. No puppy deserves to be forgotten about and left in a cage when they’re scared and away from home and their family.

This was the first time I used this boarder and I am very happy. My dogs came home happy and healthy without any problems at all. We are always very stressed when we go away because leave our dog Brady. We are so grateful we found Bow-Wow Boarding house!! Brady always receives amazing care and we love that they have the individual runs for each dog!
Let me start with....I never leave reviews, good or bad. I am so happy with my experience at Bow Wow. I want others that feel their dogs are their kids to know this place is the bees knees. I left 2 dogs with them. They are both rescues and have some issues. I spoke with the owner over the phone and discussed my concerns and the needs of my kids. She welcomed us in and on drop off specifically remembered our phone conversation from 2 months ago. I picked them up today and all I can say is it shows how much they care about each dog as if were their own. My one dog was growling in the beginning and she took the time to earn his trust and said he came around quickly. I am so thankful to have found a kennel that cares.....and I have tried several in the Doylestown area. Thank you again BowWow we will be seeing you 11 days over Christmas .
Ted has been coming to Bow Wow for daycare for about 6 yrs. We've also boarded him here. He always comes home happy, healthy and most of all TIRED. He loves Bow Wow!!!
2021.Horrible place, will never ever go there again. Boarded both of my dogs for 5 days. Both dogs came back thinner, extremely dirty, both were coughing, and both had injuries on their elbows, they looked and acted like entirely different dogs from when I left them. Bow Wow said they couldn't bath them even though I had requested baths. I immediately took both dogs to the vet hospital so they could get looked at and reported Bow Wow. Please don't board your dogs there, it took weeks for my dogs to be themselves again, they both got kennel cough, they were vaccinated, and both had to go on antibiotics for their injuries.
This place really cares about each dog they take in. From boarding to grooming, they treat each dog really great. I particularly like the indoor play area for rainy days and the out door play area. I think the new owners are really doing a great job, and reasonably priced.
Riley seemed to have a blast.... Came home tired from her adventure, but happy and healthy! All good. First time boarding there, so naturally there was concern, but everything worked out great. I would certainly board there again!
Great place to board our large German Shepherd. The staff and service is great. Lauren has done a great job with the kennel since taking over. I would recommend Bow-wow Boarding to any dog owner.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my healthy, happy, energetic dog for a grooming here and in return received a sick and injured animal. After a recent grooming appt my chow-chow has had diarrhea, loss of appetite, lethargy and is in extreme pain near her neck and ear. Every single symptom began IMMEDIATELY following the grooming. With their ridiculous business hours I am having to wait for the next window of opportunity to call and speak with the owner. A demand for a full refund and explanation will be coming to them. Having to take my dog to the vet this week all due to their negligence and treatment. I not only highly recommend you take your pet ANYWHERE else but if you receive one of their flyers promptly throw it away, the discounted deals are not worth your animals being mistreated!

LeeAnn and Karen are awesome. We have a reactive German Shepard and this is the only place that he likes going to and we feel comfortable leaving Jimmy for prolonged time. Truly, the people here care about dogs and not just in it for the $. Would recommend to everyone!
I am so thankful Nightwatch Kennel was recommended to me for my Bernese Mountain Dog, Lucky. I don't have to board him very often, but when I do it is such a relief to know he is in good hands. Lucky is always happy when we arrive at Nightwatch and when I pick him up it is always clear he has been well taken care of. While I am not big in writing reviews, and this is quite possibly my first ever - I felt the need after Leann went out of her way to accommodate and help out. While traveling in the area from up North, I had lined up a sitter for a a few hours a day over the course of two days for my 6 month old Malinois. After the sitter plans fell through I took to google to find a local kennel with a hope and a prayer. And Leann made that prayer come true. Extremely pleasant on the phone and very welcoming - she said to come on in and her staff would help out. Dropping Kacey off, Karen instantly met me and was extremely inviting and energetically pleasant. Karen took me to were Kacey was going to be housed for a few hours and I took note on how clean the entire place was. It wouldn’t surprise me if my Kacey - being in a new environment for the very first time - was a disruption to their normal operating schedule - but they never let on. This place checks all the boxes - Professional, Friendly, Experienced and a pleasure to deal with.

We love nightwatch! We were referred by a friend. They hire professional staff, they take the dogs out appropriately, and are so easy to work with. The only down side is everyone loves them so much that they book up fast, so you have to book several months in advance. Great service!
We have taken our German Shepard to another kennel and when we picked him up he was a hot mess. I was nervous this time to kennel him again but the staff at Nightwatch was amazing. When we got him THIS TIME, he hardly wanted to come home he had so much fun. Thank you to the staff! 100% would send our Shepherd to you guys again!
Had a great first experience with them and had to wait 3 weeks past his groom time because they were so busy. Finally the day came and I drove there at 8 AM only to get a phone call the groomer had car trouble and was canceling. No back up or we will squeeze you in somewhere. She just said she’d call me in a few days to re-schedule. I am coming from a half hour away with a dog that is very nervous in the car and was freaking out the whole way home. Very disappointed and not sure if I will go back.
Lynn was wonderful with Arthur! She was so nice with my wife on the phone and cut Arthur just like we wanted. We are so happy with the results and will definitely be back. It’s safe to say we found our new groomer.
This is a wonderful place for dogs to stay when they have to be away from home. The staff is extremely loving and our dogs come home exhausted from all the fun they have. Every time we return, our puppies can not wait to get inside. We highly recommend NightWatch!!!
