Melissa was great. She was very easy to communicate with and gave me daily photo updates of my pets. When leaving the house in a hurry, I somehow lost my dog’s collar, but Melissa was a sweetheart about it and was able to make due. We also ended up cutting out trip a day short, and again, Melissa was super accommodating and adjusted her travel plans as well. Upon arriving home, we found the house just as clean - if not more - than how we had left it. I would highly recommend her!
Rosie and Edwin were super welcoming and friendly. We stayed for almost 5 weeks looking after Bentley. The house is very homely and comfortable. The area is really safe and loads of good pubs, cafes and restaurants and green spaces. The house itself is 5 minutes walk from the river which was one of Bentleys favourite places. Bentley is really easy to look after - he is super friendly with other people and other dogs. He is well behaved off the lead and has good recall (especially if you have treats!). We were working from home most of the time and Bentley was very well behaved and was happy to chill out during the day and evening as long as he had a decent walk or two. We took him for one longer walk and one short walk every day. He is very loving and gentle. We had milk, bread and butter deliveries throughout the week as well as Rosie and Edwin having a cleaner and gardener. Their daughter and son live close by if you have any issues, and they are very friendly and approachable. We had one small issue with the washing machine and it was resolved within a day. All in all, It was a great experience! We miss Bentley already and can’t wait to see him again for a walk in future.
